We are traveling from Miami and needed a place to eat. After reading some reviews we decided to stop here because it's down the street from our hotel. The place looked bustling from the outside. Listen, the food was pretty bad. No flavor. You can make better food at your house. The locals seemed to be enjoying it though. I personally like my food seasoned and this was not it. Price was decent but they nickel and dime you for any thing you ask. You get one bowl of salsa and chips. You have to pay for your next one. We got soda and draft beer and it was about $3-$4 each. We ordered take out while staying in a nearby hotel. The order said 15-20 minutes. When I arrived there were a bunch of people waiting to be seated. I walked by and there is an area near the cashier that says Take Out. So I waited there for a minute and they came and helped me real quick. Got the Chicken Taco Salad. It was good. The kids Mac and cheese was just Kraft and fries on the side. Basic. Soft tacos a little watery had lettuce and cheese on them. Tostada. Consistently inconsistent is the best that I can say about fiesta Mexico. Sometimes you'll have a good experience here and other times it's an absolute disaster. I've gone as a party of 2 and had awful service and gone in a party of 10 and it's been fast. And vice versa. But either way, the food is just average. The same sauces and same seasonings are used across-the-board and you can order 4 different dishes and have them all pretty much taste the same. If you're looking for authentic Mexican food or or good Tex Mex, this is not it, I would go to El Rodeo for a step up in quality. read more

We were traveling in the area and were excited when we saw photos of the food at Fiesta Mexico. They looked absolutely delicious! And when we entered the restaurant, the place was intricately decorated and not to mention HUGE. And if it weren't for some of the slowest service I've ever had, this would be a five-star review. There was no wait to be seated on this Friday early evening, however, but we waited anyway? I don't know what the hostess was doing, even when she was at her booth, but we waited almost ten minutes just for her to turn to us and get our party count. The chips and salsa were delicious and came relatively quickly. However, we asked for more chips when they took our orders, and these took almost as long to come out as our orders did (and multiple busboys walked by carrying trays full of them and distributing them to other guests). There was a bar area with some seating, but no good drink specials at this time. I ordered enchiladas a la carte (order of 3, cheese only) which were made with a very sharp cheese and tasted pretty good. I had jalapeños put on top, which actually costed $3 extra? I could buy 10 jalapeños for that price, but okay. I also had a side of black beans, which were not terrible and actually a pretty good size. My boyfriend thought his taco salad in a tortilla bowl was the best he's ever had, though. But he was still a bit hungry after finishing it. We waited another lengthy amount of time for the check, and again for the waiter to bring back our change. Great food, but don't come here if you're in a rush. read more

Zero alcohol in the $12 margaritas. I didn't want to post this review, because I know things are challenging with staffing issues etc but come on guys! You can NOT charge that much to skimp on liquor. I told the server and she stated at me like a deer in headlights. I made last minute reservations on Open Table for NYE dinner and it did not disappoint. Our server Arturo was amazing. He was attentive, sharp and patient. The restaurant was busy but not noisy which was great. The food came out rather quickly. Everything was very tasty. I would definitely recommend the queso fundido and steak fajitas. So I gave this place another chance after last time. My friends and I got there closer to closing time, but we were not there too long. We got our food in a timely manner and the service was better this time. However, it's still not perfect. We didn't have silverware to start with, and my quesadilla was a little soggy from the amount of cheese in it I think. I really enjoyed the authentic decor, food and ambience of this restaurant. I ordered the chicken and steak fajitas and when I say the chicken was juicy the steak was tender and both has the best flavor that I have in a while. Vegetables were cooked to perfection with the sweet onions bursting with goodness in every bite. When I saw the rice I was a little worried because it looked so plain and so I just knew it was going to bland with no flavor. BOY WAS I WRONG! I must say hands down some of the best rice and beans I have ever had DELICIOUS! The guacamole was super fresh and definitely homemade. They were a little stingy with the sour cream, but I made it work. We received free chips and salsa, if you can't handle the heat like i can't, STAY AWAY FROM THE SALSA! Both were great but just too spicy for me. although the waitress was super slow and we had to ask other waitstaff to get her for us, that was not a big enough problem for me and I didn't want to take away from the awesome food. Fiesta has nicely decorated environment and can get packed around the weekend dinner time so if you are coming with a large group, i do recommend to make reservation to avoid long wait. For the food, Fiesta has a long standardized American-Mexican menu. They give complimentary chip and salsa and they also have a made-to-order fresh guacamole cart. I always order guacamole when i come here and the quality is pretty inconsistent. i always ask for extra lime in my guac and sometimes they will actually add the extra lime, and sometimes they don't. Sometimes guac is finely smashed and sometimes guac has a giant chunks of hard avocado in it. So i guess it all depends on your luck. Entree dishes come in big portion and i notice that dishes with pork or chicken taste better and have more balanced seasoning than one with beef. Staff always seem to be friendly but waiters can be slow sometimes if the restaurant is packed. read more

The building itself is really neat and the staff was super kind. I am always just disappointed when the food is just kind of typical, and what I would make would have better quality and taste. The prices for the portion size was pretty high. I understand not wanting to waste a lot of food with big portions but I think the price should reflect that. A tiny cheese dip for 5 dollars. He got his order and I got something but I don't even know what it was. I sent it back and it took so long to get my lunch my husband was already done eating. The second time I did get a chimichanga, but I got beef, not chicken. Wrong twice. I got no apologies, and no offer of compensation for the wrong order twice. It took almost 20 minutes to get the check, and then another 10 for her to come back and get my card so I could pay.
