A super cute and cozy little café. I ordered an almond latte and a vegan club sandwich. The latte was perfect! Sometimes other cafés serve lukewarm lattes, but this one was properly hot. The aroma and flavor were both excellent, and it was delicious down to the last sip. And the sandwich... it was absolutely amazing! The bread was perfectly toasted, the sauce was just the right amount--not too much, not too little--and it was filled with a great balance of roasted and fresh vegetables. Every bite was a mix of different flavors and textures. Honestly, it was so good I wanted another one, but just one sandwich was enough to satisfy my hunger. Vegan sandwiches can sometimes be too simple and boring, but this one was the complete opposite. I highly recommend trying it! read more

Stumbled upon this location, and so happy I did! I'm a huge breakfast person, and this place hit the spot! There were so many yummy option, it was hard to choose one item, ultimately I went for the two eggs avocado soyrizo wrap (warm wrap) and it was so yummy ! It is our first time coming here, we wanted to stop by before going to our appointment a block away from here. We got here 25 minutes prior of our appointment. There was no customer before us, it was empty so I assumed the service will be fast. I was so disappointed with the service. The guy in the counter took our order and it seems like he doesn't know what to answer when I ask questions about their drinks. We proceeded with ordering 1 latte, 2 egg sandwiches, 1 salmon toast and 1 croissant. After I paid receipt was not given nor was not ask if the order was to go or dine in. He was able to prepare the latte and heat up almond croissant less than 5 minutes, as he was serving I was letting him know it was to go for all the order. We waited for more than 25 minutes to get our order and we were late for our appointment because of waiting for our order to be ready. As he was handing our order to us, he almost forgot the almond croissant and if I didn't double check with him if the croissant was there, he probably would have forgot to give it to us. The croissant was cold and hard but the rest of the food is good. The price of the food is overrated. read more

I've actually never given a bad review on here but the customer service was just poor. I placed an order on Uber Eats for pickup today at 2:45 and since they didn't have my food options I just substituted some things, no big deal. I'm literally walking in to pick it up and the guy goes "oh your order was cancelled" and when I asked why he just said "I don't know." He was the only one working there so I know he just cancelled my order to hopefully close early; everything was cleaned up and the music was off and there was still another hour till closing and the cafe is small. Not only that but he burned the bread for my salmon toast. All he did was put the smear on the side that was burnt so I wouldn't notice till after I left (I got takeout) and the chai late just tasted like milk. My whole purchase was $35 dollars and I was trying to get it on Uber eats pickup because I had a discount that would have cost me half and if you're a college student, you know how much of a different almost 20 dollars can make. Okay food, poor work ethic of staff, do not recommend and there are much better coffee shops nearby, I just wish they were open as late as this one. read more

Oh my gosh, I love love loveeeed this place! Food: The food was absolutely delicious! I got the Smoked Salmon Toast and it was to die for. I love smoked salmon and this one certainly didn't disappoint. It was super fresh and I loved it in combination with the arugula. This is the perfect summer meal, especially to take to-go to enjoy at the Santa Monica Pier. Not sure why but this place has gone downhill. There is only one person there now doing everything. Cooking, taking orders, serving, cleaning...it's too much! They changed my favorite menu item to something else not even close to as good. I tried it anyway and really, it's too much money for was served. I wish the original guys would come back! I was very excited to see a new coffee shop open less than 1/2 a block from my apartment but after two visits, I am concerned that they will not be a lasting addition to our neighborhood. I went back when they first opened and again this am. As a career hospitality professional, I noticed some concerning practices and service mishaps that will eventually force a closure if not rectified.
