    Soft scrambled eggs toast
    Ahlennah B.

Really delicious herby soft scrambled eggs on fabulous thick, soft artisan country loaf bread. Latte was delicious, the patio space was great, and will probably be quite delightful when they get their landscaping done. It wasn't too hard to find street parking within a block at noon on a Thursday. Ordering was easy and everything arrived quickly, hand delivered to us outside. Service was really friendly and accommodating throughout. This is a really small homey place with window bar seating and a couch inside as well as the small and mostly covered patio. It's quiet and chill. I would come back here to try other menu items and coffee! Given how much I enjoyed the eggs, I'm sure everything else is also great.

The food was excellent. The service was outstanding. The ambiance was unexpected. I'm not sure what I was expecting, but this is sort of like an indoor small coffee/sandwich stand. Not a lot of seating indoors, some tables outside. I didn't see the restroom, nor did I ask where it was. This is a small place with very interesting decor. They have old airline stewardess carts for stations like sauces or coffee accoutrements. I had the spiced chai and it was delicious. My husband had a latte. The crema in the latte was excellent. For our meals, I had the Pan con Tomato. It as excellent! My husband had the avocado toast with egg, and he loved it! Honestly when we drove past, looking at the outside I had my doubts, but I'm glad we decided to go ahead and try it. It was very pleasant.

This Turkish Coffee/Brunch spot is sooo good. The menu is so vast, you'll definitely find a breakfast you like. They have a really cute theme going on inside the shop, I love it. The workers are super friendly & give off a family-like vibe. The turkish eggs (ÇILBIR) ARE SO GOOD. U should order this. 10/10 The grilled cheese is 10/10. So yummy & comes with cucumber & tomato salad

If you are within walking distance of Locl Haus and are not going there for all of your coffee (and brunch) needs then, what are you doing with your life??? Also, if you're thinking of going to that Starbucks by by the CVS on26th and SM Blvd, walk yourself a block and a half east to Locl Haus. And, if you aren't within walking distance, drive yourself over there you won't be sorry. I just had the best flat white - possibly of my life - there. Now, you may say to yourself, a flat white is that even a challenging coffee drink? I would say yes because you can't hide bad quality in a flat white. You just can't. The decor is colorful kind of a race car theme and there's a sweet little outdoor space to the side. The staff is gracious and goes above and beyond with service in my opinion. They also have monk fruit sugar for those of you, avoiding cane sugar and chemical sweeteners. There's meter parking out front, but there's also free parking in the neighborhood in the surrounding blocks - I think two hours.

A great little Mediterranean cafe. I stopped by on a weekend afternoon for a quick bite. There wasn't much of a line, and the service is fast. Very casual place. There's a small amount of indoor seating, and a little outdoor seating area too. I tried the menemen and coffee cake slice. The coffee cake was fine but the menemen was awesome.

this place is amazing. been here many times, but this time, i am writing my review counterside on a gloomy saturday morning. enter lokl haus... a turkish coffee shop with incredibly colorful dishes - both aesthetically AND flavor speaking. today i ordered the award-winning smashed eggs on country toast & it be HITTINGGG. its delicious & nutritious. if your dietary restrictions (or lack there of) allow you, you HAVE to order it. last time, i had their basque cheesecake & it was also fire. sadly no basque cheesecake today... maybe next time. matcha latte was as well.

This small mom and pop style café serves up some light breakfast classic items as well as some great Turkish breakfast items. The service is great and it feels like you are dining at a good friend's house... especially if that friend is into pop art. Seriously, I collected a little bit of pop out myself so if I ever wanted to open a breakfast spot, I feel like it would look a lot like this place. I ordered the Turkish eggs or cilbir. I found myself sopping up everything I could on the bread with that deliciously, flavor soaked yogurt and fresh ingredients. This is perfect if you want a somewhat hearty breakfast, but want to eat light as well. I felt great after eating it. I also got the Turkish coffee, which was deliciously strong. Two nights a week they also do a doner kebab pop-up. I'm definitely coming back for that.

I've been to this spot several times and I love the vibe. It's a small cafe with outdoor seating in Santa Monica. Parking can be a little bit of a challenge on the street. But once you get to Lokl Haus, you'll be greeted with a menu of unique and delicious breakfast items. One of my absolute favorites is the Smashed Eggs on Sesame Loaf. It's super yummy and has great flavors. I've also gotten the Sütlaç for dessert--like a brulee rice pudding--which was so good. I highly recommend checking out their dessert case for the desserts of the day.

This place is so cool! Great vibes and decor. The matcha was delish and the pastries looked so good as well (I'm gonna have to come back and try).

I was at a business across the street when the people I was with found this nearby coffee shop. None of us have ever heard of it, it was just prior to noon (not too terribly late for coffee we figured) so we cut on over across busy Santa Monica Blvd. Greeted right away by a guy behind the counter, this was a small business but the usage of the availabile space was ideal. Friends ordered the same iced matcha drink, and after not seeing any options for tea, went with an oak milk cappuccino. Mine took a while so we just sat on the stools facing the street as we waited. I was nuts for drinking hot coffee on a nearly 90-degree day, and this being my second cup of the day (I'd pretty much given up coffee this year, having only had about 4 cups until today), I was going to be wired for the remainder of the day. However, Lokl Haus would be a good choice if you want to do this to yourself; this drink was small but packed a good flavor, and I finished this one unlike the previous coffee I had earlier. Overall, I would definitely recommend Lokl Haus if you are in the area!

Very kind service. The food had excellent taste and very fresh. The atmosphere was classy and clean. We really enjoyed the Turkish coffee.

Fun little coffee shop with some 'made at home' breakfast bites. Swung by here to grab some coffee on the way to do some errands. Found this place on yelp, and it looked really popular. Got a nice little latte, and breakfast sandwich combo. The coffee was great. The sando was tasty, didn't blow me away. A lot of arugula that overpowered the egg a little bit. I ended up removing. Biggest complaint was that my pregnant wife came along and was excited to try out some of the faire, but they didn't have decaf. That would be my only real knock on the place. would definitely try again some other more interesting breakfast options.

We were lucky enough to find a metered street spot directly in front of the restaurant and did not have to wait long at all for our Saturday morning brunch for a table of two. Our server was also very polite and everything that we ordered came out very fast. I started off with the Iced Maple Latte and thought it was really nice. It was a really sweet treat and I enjoyed it. For my breakfast, I chose the Eggs Benedict with the Sujuk sausage and added avocado and croissant. It was one of the best combos I've had in a long time and I am already eager to go back again to get it. I would highly recommend to everyone and would happily say this is one of my favorite breakfast options around.

We agreed to outside patio seating at tall seats which is more than fine. but we were sat at a shared table with a family which is fine when you have context that you are doing so, but i spent the beginning of the morning listening to two different children play of their phones blasting the sound. additionally both the seats we were in were directly in the sun which for me is fine but my bf burns very easily. but okay fine, it is what it is. We politely waited until the table next to us emptied, and then told the waitress we would like to move because the sun. She said we would need to wait and she would need to check. And then came back and told us they were too busy. We watched the seat we wanted to sit in be empty until we asked for boxes for our food. We watched another table stay empty until we left. The waitress never introduced herself either. Additionally, no one checked up on us during the entire meal. Usually any sit down restaurant would ask how your meal is. No one did. we weren't even given silverware when our meals arrived. we had to go get them ourselves. We had to ask for boxes after sitting and waiting for anyone to check in. We separately had to call out to the oblivious waitress to even pay, as she was standing out there just looking around. The food was great, like i wish we would have had cash to tip the cooks themselves bc the food was really good. But Ive attached photos of the food (great!) and photos of the many empty tables that made them sooo busy they cldnt accommodate the paying costumers that already ordered. my boyfriend and I have both worked in the service industry before. But i would just say that they had horrible service which can ruin a perfectly good meal. I hope if the owner is the one I met at the door, he considers getting new waitresses .

A little on the watery side. Chicken bites came out in about 15 minutes. The coating had a very satisfying crunch, very saucy, but fell off the chicken easily and was a bit salty. This is a messy dish for sure. You will get your hands dirty! Chorizo Benedict came out about 30 minutes after order. Not great honestly. Portion size was generous. The eggs were poached decently, still runny, but the chorizo itself was bland and rather dry. The potatoes were room temperature. The bread a bit too chewy. Not AT ALL spicy. Super light on the pico de gallo. The service was rather slow for not being very busy. They didn't appear to be understaffed either. The location itself is cozy and not too loud, which is nice! Short walk from down town. The staff was kind, but boy were they slow. From being seated to paying for my meal was well over an hour! Automatic 2.5% "service fee" total was $46.50 before tip.
