Fig Tree Patisserie is such a cute small business in Kenmore! I have gotten Valentines specials, cupcakes, macaroons, pies and cakes. Everything is great and the staff are also very nice! Make sure to give them a follow on instagram for the community initiatives they are involved in and any special menus available for the holidays! They offer vegan and gluten free pastries too!

Could not recommend this place enough. Especially if anyone you know or yourself have dietary restrictions. Everything here is delicious, my favorite was the strawberry macaroon. Love this place the person who served me welcomed me in with a smile and was super helpful.

The shop is cute with an assortment of macarons. Service is friendly. Prices are competitive. I bought the salted caramel, chocolate, and maple vanilla macarons, and a red velvet cupcake. My son enjoyed his red velvet cupcake, but said it didn't really taste like red velvet. The color was so bright, I wonder if maybe it wasn't made using cocoa, buttermilk, and vinegar. I had one of the salted caramel macarons, but I'm saving the rest for Father's Day. It looked great, with a dusting of salt, but the texture was off. It wasn't as soft and chewy on the inside. A better macaron is hard to find without crossing the border since a patisserie on Hertel closed, though. Still, this place is worth a visit, and it has vegan and gluten free offerings. Probably more of a 3 1/2 but I'm rounding up to 4.

I've been wanting cupcakes for this weekend's cheat day and I though I'd give this place a try. It's a small little bakery with a good selection of cupcakes, macarons, cookies, etc. I think they are more known for their customizable cakes. My fiancé and I ordered a blueberry and lemon cupcake to share. They are rather small but they are the perfect size for a little treat. The cake was dense and moist. The frosting was vanilla but I kinda wish they were flavored according to their flavors. They were still delicious though and not tooth achingly sweet. I might have to come back next weekend to try other things!

I've been following this shop on Instagram for a while after hearing they do keto desserts and today decided to finally stop in. They post on social media each week for their keto special and today's was carrot cake. When I stopped in I was pleasantly surprised to find they also had some chocolate cupcakes too. They were $4 each so I grabbed 2 of each flavor. The chocolate was soooo good and my husband was equally satisfied with his carrot cake. They are pretty active on social media so I recommend checking their pages for availability and product information. They do specialty orders too but require 7-10 days notice. They offer many gluten free, vegan, and keto options - the most I've seen at a bakery yet.

What a fantastic little bakery offering vegan, gluten free, keto and traditional pastries and delicious goodies!! I really want this little gem in the heart of Kenmore to succeed! Worth every penny! Look at the beautiful presentation! It was almost a shame to eat that artwork - almost! My husband who is gluten and dairy free said the lemon cupcake was the absolute best he's ever had. It's dangerous because we live just a block away :). We WILL be back. Visited again yesterday (2/6/20) to try a lemon blueberry keto cupcake - it was very small but very good. Also got another gluten free vegan lemon cupcake for hubby - he was very happy with it. The person who took my order wasn't very friendly. Cyst service is really important to me especially for a $7 cupcake and $4 for a very small keto cupcake. Thus the removal of o Nom Nom !! I stopped by again today and everyone was friendly!! Woot!! Back to 5 stars :)

I've been wanting to try this place for awhile. It was my birthday and on a whim I decided to go here and try out some keto items. The cookies were good. The texture reminded me very much of a fat bomb, shaped into cookie form. I ate two and that was enough. You definitely know you have eaten something with these. The cupcakes were dry on the outside but as you ate them, it was more moist inside. I have been keto for over a year, so while sugar has been out of my system, and I am accustomed to some sweeteners, I do NOT have any experience with keto goodies at bakery/pastry shops to compare it to - only homemade. I paid $42 for six small cookies , 4 keto cupcakes and two non-keto cupcakes. If you are looking for vegan or keto items I think you should definitely give this place a try. I recommend you begin with a small size order to try first unlike what I did.

Came here on a whim because I was in the neighborhood. Man am I glad I did. Soon as I walked in it smelled amazing. I saw the display of all the pretty cakes, cupcakes, and pastries and realized mostly everything was vegan. Now I had to try it. I ordered the vegan cinnamon bun. Honestly, if they didn't tell me it was vegan I would have never known. So sweet and soft (especially since I warmed it up when I got home). I also got a an orange chocolate cupcake that came with a cute chocolate dipped orange on top. No need to hit this up because it didn't make it home. I don't remember if this was vegan also, but it melted in my mouth like butter. If you're looking for a new spot to try some specialty deserts I suggest checking them out.

Not even a tablespoon folks, just a regular old spoon and this cookie cost $2.20

It's been a year since my last review and I'm afraid I was too optimistic when it came to my hopes for improvement. So, to start off when I inquired if they had goods that were NOT vegan or keto I was told no. Which is weird because then I'm inclined to think that calling this bakery a patisserie might be a lapse in judgement or it's my bad for expecting something more traditional. Anyway. I went with the macaroons and lemme tell you, if you're gonna charge $14 for six cookies that aren't bigger than a traditional spoon it better be one heck of a delicious bite. Alas, friends, this was not the case. These macaroons tasted like they had been sitting in the fridge for a day or two. Letting them sit on the counter for an hour did not improve things. The strawberry macaroons was weirdly chewy, the butterfinger was so tough in the middle I couldn't even cut it in half and whatever filling they use in these cookies tastes like a cheap frosting made of too much powdered sugar. It didn't help that once again I had to try my card on the two different registers (I had been their customer in over an hour was the reason) annnnd I'd like to point out that this particular establishment doesn't like any review that isn't "glowing" and rather than respond to less than happy customer feedback it will be deleted so I wouldn't trust anything you read on their FB page.

My Brunch Buddy, Donna and I stopped in here last Saturday and our timing was excellent. The owner was on her way out and announced to us and one other woman, that the cookies on the tables were free and to take some. We all exchanged looks of disbelief. She told us they had been in the freezer, left over from Christmas. In particular there was a plethora of Biscotti, and my favorite, the Cuccidati (Italian fig cookie). I took two containers with Biscotti, Cuccidati, and Italian Chocolate Spice cookies. While Donna cashed out, I snapped a pic of the Macaroon Ice Cream sandwiches as a reminder to stop back. The employee that cashed Donna out told me that they feature different, rotating varieties. The Biscotti were unlike any other Biscotti I've ever had. They were not as hard. I don't know how to explain it other than to say I really enjoyed them more than I would typically enjoy Biscotti. The Cuccidati were incredible. The fig filling was delicious and the cookie itself also had a softer texture. I imagine these were all special order for Christmas. I'll be checking to see if the Biscotti are maybe available year round. None of the treats that I sampled were gluten free or vegan but they do feature many products in those categories. There are actually two businesses in one here with the vegan baked goods on the left. Everything is beautiful and from what I sampled, high quality. It's a little pricey but chances are you would be coming here for a special occasion anyhow. Charges need to be separated for the two businesses so if you want to avoid that, bring cash.

I came in for my first time to get a vegan cupcake and was greeted by the nicest workers! Both lady owners were so kind and upbeat, and the guy working at the rewas kind enough to ask if I had ever been in before and if I was vegan also, directing me to the case of vegan baked goods. I had such a good experience and the cupcake was absolutely amazing. Glad to know have a place near my work that I can go if I need a sweet treat.

Natalie at Fig Tree Patisserie did our dessert table for our 10/9/21 wedding and it was BEAUTIFUL! The cake was delicious and we were told that the desserts (macaroons, mini oatmeal cream pies, donuts, and cinnamon buns) were too! Our guests loved them so much there were zero left on the table! Additionally, Natalie was super easy to work with. We have and will continue to highly recommend Fig Tree to everyone! Thank you! Kelly and Jake

I got two cupcakes for the first time here because I got to tempted to try their menu and beautifully decorated cupcakes. I have been eyeing their bakery on Instagram for long, came here after lunch in Kenmore and headed here to get dessert! It is a little pricey for one mega cupcake but really worth it if u want to try them for the first time next time I'll love to try their small cupcakes and macaroons! This bakery is good for specialty cakes and if you want to occasionally treat your self!

Cupcake size comparison. The small one is a standard size cupcake.

The almond square reminded me a bit of an almond ring, with almond paste filling layered inside a flaky, tender, buttery pastry. It had that rich almond flavor without being overly sweet, and the texture was spot on. The pistachio snack cake was soft, moist, and delicately nutty--simple but really satisfying. Almost teacake-like. The cranberry orange scone brought a nice contrast with bright citrus flavor and tart cranberries throughout. It had a great crumb and just the right balance of sweetness and tang. Loved the dried orange pieces. Everything tasted fresh and thoughtfully made. Definitely a spot worth stopping by if you're in the mood for excellent pastries!

I finally had the opportunity to sample some of their baked goods with a good friend. Everything we had was delicious! On a Saturday, around 8:15am, I pulled up and found the last available parking spot in their parking lot. Parking in their lot definitely was tight, which really surprised me since it was barely after 8am, though I did see quite a few cars parked along the street. Walking up to the main entrance, I could see a good-size line that went right to the door, which ultimately is a good sign. Once in line, it moved pretty quick as I was in line for maybe 10 minutes, max; Everyone was smiling, soaking in the vibes so that made time go by easier. Inside it isn't too big, but it's warm, cozy. I noticed a few tables and chairs but most of them were already filled but I was there to pick up a few treats, not to sit and eat. The manager ended up taking my order and cashing me out - She was very pleasant and courteous! So, what did I pick up? I went with one almond square (a flaky pastry with a buttery almond center and toasted nuts), the rotating scone flavor, cranberry-orange, and a snack cake, which the flavor for that day was pistachio. Everything sampled was phenomenal! The flavors were spot-on. The flaky, crunchier texture of the almond square was excellent and the almond center was so good. My friend and I loved the pistachio snack cake - So moist, a nice heft to it, and the pistachio flavor was very pleasant. The cranberry-orange scone was big, the inside was soft and had plenty of dried orange pieces and cranberries. The exterior of the scone was softer, but not too soft. The size of each of these baked treats were plenty big and the price I paid for each was incredibly reasonable! I'd been meaning to try Miller's Thumb Bakery for quite a while and I'm glad to say it was worth the wait! Friendly staff, fresh, high quality baked goods, reasonable prices, what more could I ask for? I look forward to coming back another morning and trying a few more treats, maybe even grab a breakfast sandwich, a coffee, and sit inside and soak in the cozy vibes.

This was REALLY GOOD! The banana cake was excellent - Not too sweet and the banana flavor itself was balanced, not too strong. I loved the vanilla pudding on top and at the center, although I would've loved more pudding in the center, I was happy with what I saw. As usual, the bundt cake was incredibly moist and easy to dig into and the Bundlet is the perfect size for one.
