Let's start with the positive....The food was delicious!! I had the crab cakes Benedict and my mom had the juavos rancheros and we shared a short stack of bananas fosters pancakes. The crab cakes were really good and my potatoes were perfectly crisped, the pancakes were pretty good but admittedly it was a lackluster amount of bananas fosters glaze/syrup on the pancakes. My mom didn't really love her meal as her potatoes were burnt. The negative was when we were ready to be seated the waitress waved us over from all the way at the back of the restaurant (it's a small place divided into two adjacent rooms) and once we got back there she started taking another couples order before seating us. We just awkwardly stood there until she finished and then when she saw us standing she just waved at the table and said you guys can sit here and just walked away. It honestly just felt a bit rude and uncaring. We asked another server if we could change to a different table that wasn't right in the doorway, once we got seated at the new table we had a different waitress who was very nice and personable. On food alone I would personally recommend this place but that initial experience was a bit off putting. read more

This place is absolutely adorable! We went out for my husband birthday for breakfast. Smaller venue with a few tables and counter seating. So many great options to choose from too. The girls got pancakes which was awesome. I got a burger(because I can't trust eating eggs) and my husband got the turkey hash. Everything was outstanding. Our waitress was amazing even with our girls who both are 3 so you can imagine the craziness with taking them out. We will for sure be back and look forward to trying more! read more

Tried to visit a few times on the weekend but it was way too busy (which was a good sign). So when the opportunity came to visit during the week, we took it. Upon entering, we noticed it was busy even on a Wednesday. The host was very attentive and seated those who were waiting as soon as a table opened up. If busy, be prepared to wait a little bit as there are two smaller indoor dining areas and a patio. Menu has lots of choices for breakfast and lunch. On our first visit, the wife and I chose breakfast. I went with the classic French toast with a side of bacon and home fries. The French toast is made with brioche bread so it had a good taste, but I wish it had a sprinkle of powered sugar. It's going to sound strange to some, but I ate it plain because the syrup wasn't real maple syrup. No knock against FIGMOR, it's a personal thing and I still enjoyed my breakfast. The bacon was a quality cut and the home fries were made perfectly. If you need any help, just ask the waitresses and they will guide you or they will just straight up choose for you (trust them). My wife was having a hard time deciding between the Erin's Stuffed French Toast and the Marika special. After a few questions were answered by my wife, the waitress just said "okay, we are going with the Erin's Stuffed French toast. I will put that order in for you." It was done in a very friendly/helpful way and my wife was very happy with the choice. We will definitely be visiting FIGMOR again! read more

The staff was friendly and we really liked the decor, however, my friend and I were underwhelmed by the food. We came in for breakfast and my friend was excited to see there were various gluten free options, particularly pancakes and French toast. I was excited to see there was turkey hash as it was something different and the description sounded really good. While the gf pancakes had good flavor, the texture was gummy. The bacon that was ordered in addition to the pancakes was good. The turkey in the turkey hash tasted quite salty and appeared to be a from a thick slice of a turkey breast lunch meat diced up or something similar to a precooked strip like chicken comes. It is described on the menu as "pulled white turkey breast". There is a picture here, so you can see what I'm referring to. The customer next to us said they loved their French toast. It was thick and looked good. Maybe we just ordered the wrong dishes. I would consider possibly visiting again to try something different, but would definitely not get the hash again. FYI- had high chair, street parking only. Came here for brunch. It was busy- a 40min wait list, but we called ahead- but the food arrived promptly and it was all delicious and perfect. I got the #2- eggs, toast, bacon, home fries. Perfect sized portions, eggs cooked exactly and not smothered in oil, toast slices were large and flavorful. My son got a pancake with a sausage patty, both perfect. Also got the banana foster Belgium waffle. A large crispy (not too crispy) waffle with caramel banana on top- simple but delicious. We stopped here early on a Saturday morning for breakfast. We were seated immediately by the friendly waitress. If you don't remember the TV show Golden Girls, you won't get the decor. I ordered the number 3 classic breakfast with eggs over easy, sausage, home fries with peppers and onions, toast, and two pancakes. The waitress had asked if I wanted the pepper and onions with the home fries. This is a relatively new place, open for three or four months, and seems to be doing a very good business. I was THRILLED that a new breakfast place finally opened up in Tonawanda, even more thrilled when I saw the resume of the owner and head chef online. My expectations were really high. The menu is elaborate and sounded absolutely delicious! The type of menu you would see at a highend brunch in the city. I couldn't decide! I had ample time since we waited nearly 30 minutes to get waited on. The orange juice arrived in plastic "pepsi" cups similar to the ones you would receive at a kids' pizza party or hole in the wall bar. The coffee arrived and was bitter as if it was burned or the bottom of the pot. I was still optimistic because the menu sounded so good! I ordered a variety of items since my eyes were bigger than my stomach. After nearly a 45-minute wait, the brioche French toast arrived. First look, I thought it was standard white Italian bread. We asked our waitress to double-check that we had the right order. She assured us we did. The French toast was dry and didn't have any flavor. Even the table syrup provided could not saturate or flavor the toast on the table. After a few bites, I was finished and offered it to my husband. Next, my main dish arrived, Huevos Rancheros. The presentation looked nice, but the flavor was not there. This traditional Mexican breakfast comfort food was more comparable to eggs and potatoes as it was served with white bread than a standard Huevos Rancheros. Next was the omelet served with a homemade hollandaise sauce. The sauce was broken and extremely salty. We ended up scrapping the sauce off and just eating the eggs underneath. I am willing to try this restaurant again and hope my experience was just nervous jitters from a new business, when I do I hope to have a more positive experience and the menu sounds epic, but does not deliver. read more

I went on a week day towards closing time one day and it was surprisingly still pretty busy. The inside is so cute and aesthetically pleasing. There are a few small tables at the front and then there's an additional dining room in the back. This spot isn't the most convenient for large groups but I am sure they can accommodate it! My friend and I started with cranberry mimosas. There were different flavors to choose from. For $8 a glass, it was pretty standard. I ordered a California sour dough sandwich and it was absolutely delish and packed with flavor. They ran out of a few options when we were there.
