We truly appreciated the professionalism Melanie demonstrated throughout the entire process. During such a difficult time, her calmness, patience, and guidance made everything feel more manageable and seamless. Our family is sincerely grateful for Melanie's compassion and support. Thank you again for everything you did for us. Definitely recommend getting the Honey Baked Ham catering. It saved us a tremendous amount of preparation and stress.

During such a difficult time,…read morewe expected compassion, professionalism, and clear communication, but that has not been our experience. We've called multiple phone numbers listed for the funeral home. On one occasion, a man answered, but he was very unprofessional and seemed unwilling or unable to provide basic information. It felt like he didn't want to help, and getting answers was unnecessarily difficult. The funeral home may want to have someone better trained or more knowledgeable handling phone calls, as first impressions and communication are incredibly important during such a sensitive time. We've also left several voicemails and were told by other staff members that someone would call us back, but we never received a single return call. It's especially unfortunate because we wanted to use this funeral home since the cemetery is in Monrovia, making it a convenient option for our family. However, due to the lack of communication and poor customer service, we've decided to look elsewhere. I hope this feedback encourages improvements so that other families receive the support, professionalism, and timely communication they deserve during such a difficult time.

Although I see…read morethat Cesar Mata received a great review in December 2025, my experience was the contrary in January 2026. His intonation and condolences came across scripted. I do understand that you may need to develop a thick skin in this type of business, but his demeanor came across as "this is just a job" and merely going through the motions. He blamed others for delays and once even acted as if he was upset for a continued delay which I brought to his attention. Due to delays, it felt forced to follow up each step of the way to make sure the process was progressing. Not something I wanted to do while I mourned the loss of my dad. Others small matters was Mr. Mata trying to charge me a cost that had already been paid for in the preneed. Once I asked for the preneed, he miraculously found that it was paid for. He also stated that certain information on the birth certificate did not have to be exact, but close enough. He was referring to deceased complete name, years of residency in the current state, and his parent's correct names. He also said that my dad's complete name may not all fit on the DC. Of course it all fits, and did fit. Why would the name not be important on the DC. Again, i felt his attitude is basically lets get these papers going and move on to the next. Toward the end, I can only assume Mr. Mata chose to have someone else at Neptune assist me with any further inquiries. That was the best decision he made. I began to speak with Alexis who did a wonderful job keeping me informed, and I no longer had to call for status update. She had a kind demeanor and kept me well informed each step of the way until the end of the process. Thank you Alexis. Last but not least, my dad's body had not yet been buried, and Neptune Society relentlessly reached out to make sure my mom had all her plans in order. Need I say more.

Again, shameful on your part is the assumption that your office was the only one that would assist us. We knew from the time we contacted your office what we had planned for my mother. Once my husband, uncle and cousin informed your office that we would not be using your services it was told to them NUMEROUS times that our "deposit" was non refundable. So again, it's the money that mattered. Your office would not answer the phone when the other facility that we decided to use attempted to call for transport and when your office FINALLY did answer the phone they were put on hold and then hung up on. My husband and uncle returned only to find the doors of your office locked, then they waited there until someone opened the door and answered the phone to coordinate the transport of my mother. You should be ashamed for the vengeful hoops that you made our family jump through to obtain my mothers body. Not only did you give false information in your spiteful reply to my review, you also made the worst time for our family all the much harder. My review is not the only one that had a terrible experience and again if we could give zero stars we would!! I pray that anyone needed services will seek assistance elsewhere! Funny how you didn't respond to the other bad review which was only 2 months ago, but you have a mouthful for mine. My mother is being given the dignity she deserves since she is no longer in your care. This had nothing to do with getting my way, you are incompetent and that is why your business only has 9 reviews which include mine.

I have never had to plan a funeral before but boy was I glad to work with Mortuary Aid Co, specifically with Yuri. Yuri was so kind, patient, and accomodating. She answered all of my family's questions and responded very quickly whenever we needed her help. Apart from Yuri's help, I have to say her staff was friendly, punctual, and executed the funeral flawlessly. Lastly, I was incredibly pleased with the casket choices they offered. They were beautiful and affordable. Overall their services were affordably priced and I highly recommend them. During such a difficult time, Yuri and her team made our process easy. Thank you, Yuri!

It seems as if everything we talked to her about wasn't executed correctly or at all. They only she did was communicate to the cemetery. My father just passed away i. Mother's Day. A veteran and religious Christian man. They could even provide me with all the correct info for my dad's military honors. I had to search and call 4 different places and people to get my dad's firing volley to find out it was at the veterans cemetery in Riverside. All she had to do is ask if they had availability. Then on the day of our viewing with my dad we were robbed of our personal time with my dad because the sound and tv system wasn't working. They asked me to provide an MP4 video in a usb. We spent 2 hours trying to figure out what to do to pay my dad's memorial video. I then had to buy my own projector and Bluetooth speaker for this. The on-site coordinator/ director didn't know or do anything to help us. He also didn't stop people f coming in to the room for our 1 hour personal time with him. He also took it upon himself to open the floor up for people to speak against our wishes to do things different. He also made me feel weird by asking him to communicate with the cemetery about a gift someone was giving us (flying doves) he said he's never heard of such things. He did nothing for us and the whole thing was jacked up. They don't care. When I communicate this to a manager she sent it to the owners and all they said was they will look into it and the director will get retraining. They robbed us of our special time and this place is a mess!! Don't do it! They just want your money. I've been to other places that are way better!

She didn't just guide us through the process -- she carried us through it with grace and dignity. Every detail was handled with such tenderness and respect, honoring our loved one in a way that brought us comfort and peace. Her kindness felt like God's presence in the room, reminding us that even in grief, we are not alone. She listened to our wishes, prayed with us, and created a service that reflected not only a life well lived but a soul welcomed home. We are forever grateful for Martha's professionalism, empathy, and the love she showed our family. In a season of sorrow, Martha was a light. I have followed up with them several times between March and now (July) and I still have not heard back from them. This has caused me to lose trust and confidence in White's Funeral Home as this is a very simple inquiry for them to address. It is for this reason that I would not pre-pay for my final expenses with White's Funeral Home. I want to confidently trust that my family will be taken very good care of when that time comes.
