I had to search and call 4 different places and people to get my dad's firing volley to find out it was at the veterans cemetery in Riverside. All she had to do is ask if they had availability. Then on the day of our viewing with my dad we were robbed of our personal time with my dad because the sound and tv system wasn't working. They asked me to provide an MP4 video in a usb. We spent 2 hours trying to figure out what to do to pay my dad's memorial video. I then had to buy my own projector and Bluetooth speaker for this. The on-site coordinator/ director didn't know or do anything to help us. He also didn't stop people f coming in to the room for our 1 hour personal time with him. He also took it upon himself to open the floor up for people to speak against our wishes to do things different. He also made me feel weird by asking him to communicate with the cemetery about a gift someone was giving us (flying doves) he said he's never heard of such things. He did nothing for us and the whole thing was jacked up. They don't care. When I communicate this to a manager she sent it to the owners and all they said was they will look into it and the director will get retraining. Both of these were major reasons I chose them over other options. Neither happened as promised. On the day she was picked up, I received no final confirmation. I had to call multiple times, text, and leave voicemails just to get confirmation the next day that she'd been picked up -- and that they had not retrieved her belongings as agreed. I ended up having to make a 4-hour round trip myself to collect them. Weeks later, I got a call saying they actually couldn't cross county lines to deliver her to me after all. My options were to drive back myself or have her shipped. I chose shipping, and she was left sitting outside in the sun, I didn't even have to sign for delivery. Throughout this, I spoke with several different staff members, and no one seemed to have a clear picture of what had gone wrong or what had already been communicated. I received little acknowledgment of how badly this was handled, and no offer of any refund or compensation. I was told "not sure why we didn't get her things". When I explained they also knew I lived in a different county from the start and I was never told about crossing county lines, I was brushed off. This is one of the most sensitive services a family will ever need, and it deserves careful, consistent communication. I did not get that here, and I would not recommend this company.
