IG led me here for lunch one day. The pizza is fantastic! Crispy, thin, flavor filled. Just all around an authentic up north slice.

Stopped in for lunch after hearing they do pizza by the slice at lunchtime. I was hoping for a quick in-and-out. That did not happen. I ordered a slice of cheese and was told it would be right out - 30 minutes later the slice came out. I honestly still do not understand how a slice takes that long. I probably would have gotten it faster if I ordered a whole pizza. As for the pizza itself, it was fine. Solid 7 out of 10. Nothing bad, nothing memorable. Slices are huge. Unfortunately it is not good enough to justify that kind of wait, so I am unlikely to come back in person. I would do Uber Eats delivery. It was decent enough for someone else to wait for it lol.

Well, I had another Uber Eats delivery from Finale and they did not disappoint! Seriously these meatballs are so good and they reheat very well. Of course I had to have the wings again. I love them and I love the Caesar salad with their pancetta. This time there were pieces of pancetta versus the slices, but it was just as good. Their homemade dressings are wonderful and oh my God I ate the fried chicken cutlet in like five minutes. They slice it for you to put on the salad, but I picked the pieces up like French fries and dipped it in the dressing! Excellent food.

Best pizza in the Charlotte area!!! Heard so many great reviews on this on social media so stopped in for some pizza after my son's lacrosse game today at Ballyntine Ridge HS with some friends. The owner came out and told us about the place before we ordered and recommended the well done since he heard we were from NY, NJ and Connecticut. The place is real cute inside with bar seating and a handful of people tables and immaculate bathrooms. Now for the food! We ordered the vodka pie, a plain pizza and the Sweety Pie pizza and they were all delicious!! Crust, sauce and cheese brought back great memories of some of the best places in NY and Connecticut that I've had. Will definitely be going back just wish it wasn't so far from us in Lake Norman.

The Hornet- Pepperoni, Calabrian Peppers, Local Hot Honey, and basil; we added the sausage.

Absolutely delicious! Finally got to try the fresh made pasta, some of the best I've had since I was in Italy. The marinara sauce is so tasty, not acidic at all. Good pizza takes time so order the hand-cut mozzarella sticks while you wait! Amazing crumb structure on the focaccia and pizza crust. Justin knows what's up, give that man a raise!

I came here on a snow day, everything was closed I saw online they were opened,so we walked here. The staff were excellent and the pizza is on point NYC style! I also had their tiramisu so good. This small pizza place is great!! The great service and taking care of the community during the snow storm is great. What a great place to be!!!

10/10. Best pizza I have ever had. While adding pepperoni, ricotta, hot honey, or any of the other options is a great touch, I would recommend to stick with the cheese. Everything else is just a distraction from the perfection that is this pie. Wow.

Popped by Finale on a Saturday afternoon around 2:30. The parking was plenty, the place was small, but cute, and the employees were very warm and welcoming. A few things to note- they only sell pizza by the slice 11-2. You use a QR code to order. The size of the inside is not very accommodating for a larger party. Being a NYer, finding a great pie has been a challenge of mine since moving here. Finale did not disappoint. The mozzarella sticks and marina sauce were tasty and the white pie had a very subtle, but enjoyable lemon flavor from the little bit of zest they top the pie with. I also appreciated the sesame seed crust. That really brought back memories of Friday pizza at my Nana's house. I am looking forward to my next trip back!

This is a cosy place with limited bar seating. There are a couple larger tables for families in the middle and could probably squeeze together tables against the wall if needed. It's made to feel like an old school diner. Service is order at the counter style and they bring it out to you. Now the pizza. Came expecting more flavors like their sister restaurant, Inizio, and wasn't there. The crust was tough after being warmed. It felt tearing it by my teeth and in public that is not the look we are going for. Enjoy by the slice concept but something about being warmed or how old the slice might be needs to be revisited.

Absolutely incredible pizza. The ingredients tasted super fresh, the crust was perfect, and everything we had was genuinely delicious. The indoor decor is simple, clean, and very Instagramable without trying too hard. My only disappointment is that the pizzas only come in one size. I'd love the option to order a pasta, salad, and a small pizza to share with my boyfriend so we could try more of the menu, but one pizza alone is already too much for us to finish. Definitely will be back !

    Chris S.

Heard good things about this place so I decided to give it a try. Glad I did! The Hornet Pizza didn't disappoint! Crust was light and crisp and the pepperoni was the cup and char type. Place is small with limited seating but I arrived early so no problems finding a table. I'll go back and try out a few more menu items.

I am a frequent customer, probably in there at least twice a week sometimes but definitely every week. I really love their homemade chicken salad with nuts and fruit in it. They have amazing cooked sliced sirloin. That is wonderful on sandwiches or cooked with eggs for breakfast. I can buy my hard boiled organic eggs in the bag so I don't have to peel them. They have so many wonderful choices for healthy food, even the ice cream! If you have not tried ice cream for bears yet? You have to give it a shot and yes, give the vanilla or the honey bear a try. Their kale salad with apples is also wonderful. Oh! Don't even get me started on when they have the lemon fest! I stocked up on the lemon white chocolate popcorn Seriously, really nice people as well. One of my favorites is San-Dee but the young man behind the counter in the deli is such a sweetheart. Everyone is extremely helpful, very professional and kind. I returned my scones because the bakery changed the recipe, and the woman actually went to the shelf to find another package and said open it and taste one to see if it was an issue just with the batch you got. Who does that?! Sprouts does! Again, just really love the staff and I found wild caught frozen halibut so that I could make it at home! OK, I guess I should stop raving and just post the review, but I'll share some pictures of my recent shopping trip. Oh! I almost forgot! I did take pictures of the homemade jalapeño focaccia bread, and it is phenomenal! This is also the only local grocery store where I could find organic sourdough bread and they have different flavors! If you're in Ballantyne, give them a shot. It is absolutely worth it in my experience and opinion. Oh, and I edited this to add that you could find some really great sweet treats! They have chocolate from Dubai and I love their organic dark chocolate with a hint of salt. There are tons of gluten-free options from pasta to bread and crackers. You name it. They also have a couple of aisles of health items and really great dog treats as well.

We decided to order 4 prime marinated NY strip and 2 tuna steaks. They make theur own naribade so we had to try it. We also wanted to try one of frozen pre-made meals so we chose the sausage and pasta with vodka sauce. While in line to checkout we saw more than a few people with trays of cinnamon buns so we had to try them as well. This is a summery of our purchased food:. The cinnamon rolls were grainy. Not smooth. I think they were old (I had to pull them from the back). The steaks had a great flavor as the marinade was really good. Three of the 4 steaks were over cooked because we were given 4 different sized steaks. 2 got burnt the third was well done....$60 wasted. The tuna was good but again they gave us one large steak and one thinner one so the smaller was was dry....another $15 wasted. If I can make any suggestion....do not make a purchase without seeing what you are buying. $136.00 later I can say I was disappointed because of the unevenness it was cooked improperly. 4 stars because the cook is partially to blame. 3 stars otherwise. The sales person is the first person that should know better than to sell meat and fish the way they did. Ruined my Christmas meal. Only 1 of us ate. :(

What we got: *Chicken parmesean sandwich - this was massive! My husband got this and had half the first day, and I had half the second day as I liked his dish better than mine. This was very flavorful, could have used a little more tomatoes as that was overshadowed with all the other flavors of chicken, cheese, and pesto, but still oh so good. The fries that were served with the sandwich are nothing special, they are a shoestring fry, and I prefer thicker and more flavorful fries. *Bolognese - this was my dish, and I did not think it was as good as the reviews have suggested. It might be better fresh at the restaurant, but to me, it was just a very oily meat spaghetti type dish with thick noodles. For me, it needed more tomato flavoring vs the oil flavor that stood out. The meatballs were very good, though. My husband liked this dish more than me, so he was good with trading dishes the second day. Overall, we did enjoy what we ordered. We felt this was a good first impression, but we want to try more menu items made fresh at the restaurant when we have the chance.

First, Speckled Pear has removed the community seating and the prepared food, bakery and produce counters from my earlier visits and replaced them with true "restaurant" tables. The focus is now squarely on dining, with lunch, dinner and Sunday brunch service. And oh, there's still a wine bar and bottles are still available for purchase. We weren't sure the dress code either, hard to gather from their website. We went business casual but we could have just done in our Saturday afternoon casual as it's not upscale but neighborhood comfortable. The decor is honestly pretty bland. Everything was just gray and there were no pops of color anywhere. The lighting was cool and the wine wall was nice but it just didn't have much character. We were greeted quickly by our server who was polite but not overly friendly. She gave us the drink specials and we got started with a few beers. A runner brought a basket of warm bread and butter which is always a nice start. We ordered the garlic bread and the zucchini fritti for appetizers. They came out quickly and presented nicely. The garlic cheese bread wasn't very garlicky, had more of a rosemary flavor so it wasn't our favorite. The zucchini was shaved and had a nice flavor. Because it was so small it was kind of hard to eat. I like my zucchini with some ranch and we asked for some and kind of got a weird reception from the kitchen staff. I mean we are in the south people - ranch is a staple! For entrees we tried a few different things. We had the white pizza, the chicken francese, the chicken crusted Romano, and the sliced beef rib cut. All the dishes came out warm and with nice presentation. The pizza was the most lackluster. It was just average and did not have much flavor. The crusted chicken Romano was a highlight with a nice flavor from the vodka sauce. The other two dishes tasted good but were nothing amazing. The mashed potatoes were the best side dish. The roasted potatoes were a bit on the burnt side and lacked any real seasoning. We had an overall pleasant experience but will not rush back to this spot. If you are in the neighborhood I'm sure it's convenient but if you want a great Italian meal this would not be my recommendation.

We had the grilled artichoke ($16) which was excellent with a light garlic dip. Went well with too expensive glasses of wine, which the pricing is just way out of bounds, management. I had a super excellent Spicy Rigatoni Vodka at $24.50 which we both sort of went crazy for. It was so flavorful and the generous portion meant that we took some home. The food is over the moon delicious with plenty of options and reasonable serving sizes. Even with the slightly high price point, it is well worth every penny. And they take allergies SO seriously! Literally went through a bunch of ingredients to find what would and wouldn't be dairy-allergy safe. Atmosphere is fun but cozy, too. 100% recommend! In-depth: Postino has quickly become one of my favorite places in the CLT area after my 10/10 experience here. To start, the food. My word, it's amazing! Everything my friend and I tried was delicious. The bruschetta is 100% worth trying (the spinach artichoke one is my favorite), and the west coaster panini + romaine salad was tasty at every bite. Their wine is also good quality, with a decent-sized portion poured. Allergy safety is a major thing for them, too. Our server (Lee = the best waitress!) and her manager looked through their bread and ingredients for about 30 minutes to confirm what was and wasn't dairy safe (I asked how dairy allergies are handled for when I bring my husband next time). They also had quite a few gluten-free options, too. The manager explained that she wants people to be able to just come in and relax for a few hours without worrying if they'll get sick, which I truly, truly appreciate. Lee shared a similar sentiment, which was amazing. Now price... Yes, it is a *bit* pricey, but it is well worth it. Nothing felt lacking as far as flavor goes, and the allergy safety is a huge thing. This is one of the few places I felt my sandwich and salad were worth every penny, even if it was $17. Also, their rewards program is great. I got a free bruschetta board, and they offer several other perks. Make sure to sign up before or while dining there to get some good deals! In addition to their sincere care for allergy safety, the service is fantastic all around. They do group service, meaning you'll have several servers, and they encourage you to grab anyone if you have questions. This takes the pressure off of waiting for one server to walk by and really helped me relax. And the atmosphere? I could stay there all day! It's a really fun vibe, but the lighting and seating are very cozy. Overall, I've already recommended this place to 5+ people and will be returning soon

The staff was amazing and I was astounded by their dedication to their craft. The best part was the food. We started with the chefs board which had an array of cheeses and spreads. The most memorable was the whipped feta. OMG. The Ambiance was the only thing I feel could use some tuning as there's not enough sound deadening to make the music out? It sounds like a heart beat and makes it hard to make out conversations. Major shout out to Leigh for taking care of us all night and making it a memorable night. Also big thanks to Odhie for the tickets to the concert. This was definitely a night to remember. Thank you Postinos Staff!
