Man this place sucks. Our waitress kept coughing over us (gross), and the food was subpar at best. I got the brisket queso, the brisket was tough and the queso just wasn't good at all. My friend got the lemon pepper boneless "wings"- it was 5 small nuggets with a few pieces of celery. The flavor was awful and I don't understand how you can mess up lemon pepper. I had the fried chicken sandwich- the chicken was thin as could be, and fried to where it tasted burnt. I truly enjoyed the brunch here this past Sunday. I have eaten here once before either in 2020 or 2021. The food was just OK. However, this time the food was great! I ordered the breakfast sampler. Others in my party ordered chicken and waffles as well as avocado bruschetta. The chicken and waffles were delicious. I did not taste the bruschetta though. There is a full bar with a fabulous selection. I ordered a mimosa bucket with one bottle of champagne and two juices. Food and beverages are very reasonably priced. Service was impeccable! The manager was terrific. She constantly stopped by the table to ensure we had a good dining experience. I remember her from my first visit. She was just as nice and jovial then. I wish incould remember her name. I appreciate her consistency. The restaurant is not very large on the inside but there is outside seating. This place is also great to watch the game indoors or outdoors. You will have to walk outside to the restroom (not an outhouse). Just thought I would point this out LOL. This is a cool little place in round rock, just on the outskirts of the downtown area. The service is great during the day, and the food is really good. Great burgers, great chicken, and great fried pickles. They have really good drinks and tons of NA options as well. The patio is fantastic with huge TVs everywhere, and I'd imagine is a great place to catch a football game. The ONLY thing I do not like is the temperature inside. It's freezing. You need a coat to sit inside or else you're going to be shivering. Other than that, I definitely recommend if you're in the area. read more

I stopped here for lunch on a motorcycle ride down to Austin for the Taco Festival. Turned out it sold out so I looked up places near by and this one caught my eye. I had the beyond burger with fries and it was perfect. Nothing was overdone and service was prompt and courteous. I sat at the outside bar and it's shaded naturally with views of the street. No napkins handed out at all, had to ask everytime. They only gave us 4 napkins for 4 of us. Each time. Don't know what I think of the place. I for sure will not go to it when it's hot again. We chose a chilly night, but they had outdoor heaters that made it easy to enjoy our dinner. We were able to catch some college ball on their multiple TV's. They food was sooo good. We had Brisket loaded fried to start. We ordered wings (buffalo and lemon pepper), bacon cheeseburger sliders with fries, and chicken strips with gravy and tatie tots. Finley's has made some great changes under their new ownership. The menu is greatly improved and the staff is friendlier and more engaged. Finley's is located at the west end (start) of Main St and San Saba (turn at the Wells Fargo if coming from 620). It is the de facto first bar/restaurant of downtown Round Rock, although 3 blocks west of the row of bars & restaurants around Main and Mays St. that define the downtown area. If bar hopping, it's a great first or last spot of the night, but the menu is where they shine. I'd describe the menu as American gastropub. They have an ever changing burger-of-the-week (which is worth the ask), apps, wings, sliders, sandwiches, salads, and a handful of entrees. Brunch is served on the weekends with a limited menu during brunch (you can only order off of the brunch menu during brunch hours). They also have a fully stocked bar complimented by a small but well-curated beer wall (and plenty of packaged beers). Finley's also has covered and uncovered outdoor/patio dining. The 3 places I'll regularly eat at in DT RR are Slapbox Pizzicheria, Liberty BBQ, and Finley's. read more

What a fun place in Round Rock. We went on a Saturday in between official lunch and dinner hours. It was a beautiful day so we sat on the patio. The patio had a nice cross breeze, a sun shade and TVs with sports and Chive TV. Food wise. Yep this place was pretty good. For starters, we had the fried pickles! They were great and gobbled up by our group pretty quickly. We also got the meat and cheese board, which was nice. Entrees were the margaritas pizza shared across 3 adults. Delicious crust with great tasting ingredients. The surprise of the night was doughnut grilled cheese sandwiches. Yep, you read that right. They were pretty great, and the fries were on point too. Drink wise, the patio sipper was pretty great. Deep Eddy grapefruit vodka and elderflower. Light and refreshing. It held true to its name and was a great drink to sip on the patio. There is also another part of the patio that is bar service only. There was a beautiful tree in that area that gave lots of shade, along with music. It looked fun and we'll try it next time.
