I thought I enjoyed the place until the sun came out. Then it's miserable. Entirely to hot if you can't get a seat in the shade and in the inside is like 400sf at best. All the staff was great. Food was okay. 18 bucks for a burger so I don't know where these prices are coming from. 18 bucks for an appetizers too. Actually someone in the group asked why is nachos 18 bucks. No napkins handed out at all, had to ask everytime. They only gave us 4 napkins for 4 of us. Each time. Don't know what I think of the place. I for sure will not go to it when it's hot again. Even though it has fans with mist machines. It doesn't feel right. I don't know anyone that wants to go out and sweat or have water sprayed on you when they want to enjoy company and a game. Finley's Round Rock was pretty good. I forget what it was prior to Finley's but they have a good size patio and outdoors space with corn hole. The burger was dry and lacking some flavor. The cheese curds were great but I wouldn't get the spicy ranch rub on the fries as it didn't do much for flavor. Looked like they had some cocktails but didn't try being lunchtime. read more

Was in there Wednesday night at around 7 PM. Only 2 people in the place and they were getting ready to leave. Sat around for 10 minutes while the bartender and wait staff wondered around the bar and floor area glancing at me now and then, but never coming over. I finally just walked out. As I pushed the door to go outside I remembered that this same thing happened to me around 4 months ago...and I had forgotten about it. Dudes. If you don't want my business, there are so many other places out there that do. I'll just go to them instead. Also. About a year ago my sister and I got some food and drinks there and unfortunately there were tons of small bugs in her wine. The waitress couldn't care less. The visit started off well when we were greeted quickly after walking in, but then sat outside for 10 minutes waiting to order. The waitress was very sweet, but it seemed like she was the only wait staff for the entire place? We barely saw her. The happy hour was more like a "fratty hour." We were were very disappointed when we informed that only well liquor, Lone Star and Natural Ice were discounted. Gross, man. I was craving something crafty, so I ordered the dark and stormy. The second it came out I could tell just by looking at it that it was not going to be good. A few tries/sips later I had to send it back. Great spot in downtown RR. Apps are amazing, and overall it's reasonably priced. Service leaves much to be desired, but they do have a small staff. Entrees are also extremely underwhelming. We tried dinner and brunch, and both times the appetizers were the best part. We'll be back for drinks and apps for sure, and may try dinner again. read more

We had never been here so I was really looking forward to it. I never went inside of the main building, but the small courtyard/patio area had everything we needed: 1 Service service service! 2 a full bar area 3 tables and chairs 4 bathrooms right off the patio 5 misters 6 TVs showing sports 7 great wings and other things! 8 they even had a guy and a guitar out providing music. It was s nice place! The wings were pretty good... so were the fries... I'm not a fan of coleslaw and they put it on the bbq and chicken sliders... but my wife liked those. Finley's has made some great changes under their new ownership. The menu is greatly improved and the staff is friendlier and more engaged. Finley's is located at the west end (start) of Main St and San Saba (turn at the Wells Fargo if coming from 620). It is the de facto first bar/restaurant of downtown Round Rock, although 3 blocks west of the row of bars & restaurants around Main and Mays St. that define the downtown area. If bar hopping, it's a great first or last spot of the night, but the menu is where they shine. I'd describe the menu as American gastropub. They have an ever changing burger-of-the-week (which is worth the ask), apps, wings, sliders, sandwiches, salads, and a handful of entrees. Brunch is served on the weekends with a limited menu during brunch (you can only order off of the brunch menu during brunch hours). They also have a fully stocked bar complimented by a small but well-curated beer wall (and plenty of packaged beers). Finley's also has covered and uncovered outdoor/patio dining. The 3 places I'll regularly eat at in DT RR are Slapbox Pizzicheria, Liberty BBQ, and Finley's. read more

What a fun place in Round Rock. We went on a Saturday in between official lunch and dinner hours. It was a beautiful day so we sat on the patio. The patio had a nice cross breeze, a sun shade and TVs with sports and Chive TV. Food wise. Yep this place was pretty good. For starters, we had the fried pickles! They were great and gobbled up by our group pretty quickly. We also got the meat and cheese board, which was nice. Entrees were the margaritas pizza shared across 3 adults. Delicious crust with great tasting ingredients. The surprise of the night was doughnut grilled cheese sandwiches. Yep, you read that right. They were pretty great, and the fries were on point too. Drink wise, the patio sipper was pretty great. Deep Eddy grapefruit vodka and elderflower. Light and refreshing. It held true to its name and was a great drink to sip on the patio. There is also another part of the patio that is bar service only. There was a beautiful tree in that area that gave lots of shade, along with music. It looked fun and we'll try it next time. We took a rather large group on a Saturday night and the staff handled it with ease. The inside is not huge but our group wanted to be seated indoors and they accommodated the request without hesitation. We all ordered different items and there was alot of sharing so we could try a little of everything. The burger of the month was over the top. If you get a chance and have a daring appetite I am sure you will not be disappointed if it is as good as the one we had. Good times! My boss reserved two tables outside for happy hour. They don't offer table service out in the patio. You have to sit inside or in the front to get table service. That was fine with us since the bar was behind us and the corn hole game was out there. Let's not forget the beer pong table too. Ugh oh...time to party! This was my first time at this restaurant, and I really wanted to enjoy it. But, a few things. First, the food wasn't great--the best part of the dinner was my catching up with my dear friend and the weather. We ordered deviled eggs for appetizers, burgers, buffalo chicken sliders, and fries. And all of it was meh. I really can't think of anything that stood out. The burgers were bland, the chicken sliders were predominantly breading, and the fries were disappointing. After slathering them with dip, I still couldn't finish them, even though I generally LOVE fries. Second, bring cash. Apparently they charge each line item with a credit card fee, which was a shock to us when we got our bill. The restaurant eventually gave us that money back, but no one mentioned a word of this system until we got our bills. I appreciated the waitress wearing a mask. I wish I could do half stars! It wasn't quite a 4 Star and I would say that if they got a hostess stand and were a bit more organized then that would bump it up. Community table seating was fine but tables are a bit large with it possibly being awkward if you've got a large party talking to one another. Lots of tvs and great sports bar. The brunch was pretty good but they had no booster seats for baby. Lots of families were there but I feel like this was not kid friendly. It would be good to try again without the baby to see if it's a good happy hour spot, the drink I got was pretty good! The service was hit or miss...it would be nice if they were a bit more attentive. My bill took a long time to come and it needed to be corrected. I will say for the bubble pancake thing - it was a bit pricey for what you got. The level of service needs to be stepped up if they want to charge these prices. I'm hoping it's just growing pains and they might get some of these kinks worked out. read more

The atmosphere is lovely with covered outdoor seating. The food was very fresh and our waiter was helpful with my son's gluten allergy. The gluten free bun was very good, but it was disappointing to hear that the fries and tots are not gluten free because they are fried in the same fryer as their wheat items. Our review of the food is mixed. The items we enjoyed were the salads, fries, tots and burgers. The chicken nuggets were very bland and need salt. The Mac and cheese was not as cheesy, but more buttery. We ended up spending $113 for our family of 7, which I felt was pricey. We probably will not try it again with our children but would come back for a date night. read more

So Finley's is one of my favorite places to eat. Hands down. That was until I received a phone call from the manager Stephanie this evening stating a burger wasn't added to our check. She asked me to give her a credit card number. I don't own any credit cards. I paid for our meal in cash. I offered to pay for the hamburger on Thursday seeing as how I live 3 HOURS AWAY round trip. This was not acceptable to Stephanie and she proceeded to basically accuse me of taking a $20 hamburger (stealing). This woman's attitude is so rude and the things she said to me were absolutely unacceptable. They have multiple employees without masks(ONLY our bartender kept his on). They do not enforce social distancing or masks for guests. Many people sitting and standing close to others not In Their party as well as cooks and servers taking off masks while handling food, utensils and drinks. Felt so unsafe and got out of there ASAP! This is a cool little place in round rock, just on the outskirts of the downtown area. The service is great during the day, and the food is really good. Great burgers, great chicken, and great fried pickles. They have really good drinks and tons of NA options as well. The patio is fantastic with huge TVs everywhere, and I'd imagine is a great place to catch a football game. The ONLY thing I do not like is the temperature inside. It's freezing. You need a coat to sit inside or else you're going to be shivering. Other than that, I definitely recommend if you're in the area. read more
