OMG where to begin. If you come here bring your A-game. The wait staff will give you a run for your money. They have a full size page on the back of their menu that is just for rules. As in Dan G.'s review the bartender was swearing at everyone and instead of last call, simply announced that she was "f-ing done" and "no more beer". This was after I had waited at the bar for quite a long time waiting to buy beers before last call. Someone who was either a manager or pretended to be one started getting aggressive with my boyfriend while he was waiting to buy beer. Apparently he was in his seat. (He wasn't sitting) This isn't the fault of the bar, but no less puts a picture to the kind of crowd that was there - While I was waiting to use the restroom a guy came up, stood in front of the door to the ladies restroom and gave myself and the woman next to me his best sleazy pick-up line. On top of that, once cordially rejected, wouldn't move out of the way of the door. As per Dan G.'s review: To top it off, the manager openly threatened to charge all open tabs an extra 40% if they weren't closed before 1:30am. That seemed like shady business practice but I was informed by a police officer (obviously off-duty) we were with that it is indeed illegal to do that. We left shortly thereafter. Been here enough to give a balanced review of the food. When I go I normally stick with the wings, and they rarely let me down. The best thing is going in on Sundays during football season and getting a wings and a cold beer and watching football. Best thing, on Sundays they are only 25 cent each. I mean, that is almost ridiculous in terms of price. All the food I have had, I have enjoyed and their menu is more than just pub food. Steak Tips = awesome. Nachos = Huge. This place in my opinion is just average. The place is very small. The alcohol selection is just average in comparison to other local pubs or bars. They do have a couple pool tables and the staff seems friendly. I haven't tried any food here yet so I can't say anything about that. read more

We went this past Saturday on recommendations from someone on Facebook . The place was kind of crowded . The lady behind the bar was waiting on all the tables , making drinks behind the bar , bringing food out to the tables and basically running around everywhere . For some reason every once in a while this other woman would walk in and wipe down one of the tables . She never helped our waitress. Our waitress was so busy she didn't take our order for a half hour after we sat down . Then we waited 40 minutes for our appetizers. The onion rings were ice cold . The garlic encrusted chicken wings had some kind of white gooey sauce all over them . It takes a while to get it off your hands .Then we waited another half hour for our burgers. My burger was undercooked as I ordered medium well but it was so busy for our waitress I didn't want her to have to do any more walking . I give this place 4 stars because it was exactly what my boyfriend and I were looking for the night we went. We were looking for a quieter place to get a drink and play pool. We walked in around 9:45 on a Saturday and it had less than 10 people in the bar, almost all townies. There are two pool tables, one of which was completely open. Drinks are reasonably priced and the mixed drinks were average in terms of strength. I definitely recommend this place if you live in the area and are looking for a more low-key night than Boston. read more

I was very disappointed in the behavior at this restaurant. If I could have selected no stars I would have. My friends and I stopped in just for a couple drinks and we will NEVER be returning. We were having a fine night enjoying ourselves until we were about to leave. My friend and I had went to the bathroom before we were leaving and when we came out, we found the owner yelling at our friend about paying the tab. I made a remark about how rude she was and honestly I was not very polite myself. But then another person from the bar I'm not sure what her relation was got very close to me (definitely not within six feet) and told me to never open my mouth in their bar again. The owner was claiming that we had not paid our tab when I had watched my friend put his card down. Both myself and my other friend had offered to pay for the tab and my friend did pay for it with her discover card. The staff continued to be outrageously rude to us. My other friend who had originally put his card down never received it back. The owner told me that "there is always a stack of cards at the end of the night anyway." He ended up cancelling his card all together and when I had asked for the staff to check again if they had his card, they refused to check until I had left and returned again moments later. Due to the fact that he was from New Hampshire and that it would be very difficult for him to retrieve his card if it were left there. There was also an older man that had wanted to start a physical fight with us as well. I will NEVER return to this restaurant nor will I ever recommend it to ANYONE. There is ZERO professionalism at this facility. I was extremely disappointed by the way this was handled. The staff here is disgustingly rude and inappropriate. If you are considering this restaurant I HIGHLY urge you to NEVER go to this establishment. read more

I walked into the pub for lunch with my friend for a quick bite to eat, and we were not acknowledged whatsoever. We sat at an open table while customers at the bar and the workers just stared us down and made me feel very uncomfortable. We sat at the table for almost 15 minutes without any greeting. Will never go there again. It's a place where if someone doesn't know your name you're not welcome. DO NOT even think of sitting in an empty chair.. 4 couples out for dinner decided to stop at Finnegan's for a couple of drinks before heading home. We walked in and felt out of place. Most people in there were in their 20's. We ordered drinks at the bar and started conversing after a couple of people sat at the bar on stools. After a few minutes, a patron came over and told us to get off "their" bar stool. We did not see anyone there before and thought it was an open seat. Apparently the "regulars" have designated bar stools. We were asked to leave by door men and bar tender. We are in our early 40's and felt mis treated. They took our money for our drinks, but then proceeded to throw us out. We will not return there and I will personally tell anyone not to step foot in there. Very bad service and other patrons were rude and tolerated by management. read more

Located in a strip mall setting the bar had a couple of pool tables and video games as well as a variety of table and bar seating. Bar was overall in a clean state as well. We did not have any food while there so could not speak of that but did see others eating there and they did have a what appeared to be a full service kitchen. Anytime I go to Hudson to meet friends I always choose Finnegan's Pub. Soon as I walk in I'm greeted with a smile from the bartender Lindsey, and the owner Matt if he's there. Place doesn't have any draft beer.....with the Horseshoe Pub right next door you'd think they would step it up a little bit. They have a ton of bottled beer selections, which is good. Their beer is pretty cheap, but any mixed drink is outrageous. They under pour like crazy and charge you at least $5 for a tiny little glass. They have two pool tables and some arcade games which is cool. The female bartender that was just working on Saturday night needs an attitude check. I regret leaving such great tips each time I got a drink and was half-assed. Parking is a nightmare if you're trying to go on a weekend night, but I can guarantee it's not from the people in Finnegan's. On a Saturday night it was my friends and maybe two or three other people. The other people were clearly regulars and didn't like our choice of music on the Touchtunes so they paid a ton of money to push all of our songs to the end and we left before we even got to hear the songs we paid for. Just a crappy dive bar in a mix of great bars/pubs. Needs to close down ASAP. I wouldn't ever step foot in there again. read more
