So then I decided to grab a table and have lunch here. The menu is HUGE! So it was hard to decide what to get but I was extremely happy with what I chose. I got the Black Truffle burger. I asked for it medium rare and when it arrived at my table it looked pretty cooked. I was amazed at how well this burger came out, it was pink in the middle, just how I ordered it and how I love my burgers cooked, yet the outside was almost like a smash burger! Yall it was a 10/10. The truffle flavor is perfection, it is not too much. Your burger does not come with a side (which is what I almost went for, but there were so many sides for add ons) You have the choice of tots, a ceaser garden or wedge salad, fries, fried pickles, sweet potato fries, onion rings. I cannot express how upset I am to write this review update. We've been to Finney's...maybe 20 times in the last few years. My husband goes with friends, we go together on dates, our family goes, and we've taken groups there. I didn't love the burger I had here the first time we went, but I really liked the Impossible Taco Salad. I found it was good like...50% of the times we'd go. Sometimes it felt like they made it first and waited for the hot food to be cooked. The lettuce wouldn't be cold anymore and the burger bits would be room temperature. It was always great when it was made right though, and we like the patio. A lot. On our most recent visit, my salad just...didn't look right. This is usually a chopped salad. I've had it SO many times. I loved that salad. There's two photos--one from this visit and one from a prior visit. Part of the reason I get it was a because it's a chopped salad. This looked like giant pieces of bagged romaine just tossed into a bowl sloppily. It also didn't taste right. The lettuce tasted weird which I attributed to the lettuce maybe being precut bagged romaine...which I typically don't trust. I ended up not really finishing it. The lettuce tasted weird. I ended up getting incredibly sick after eating it though and threw up for hours. Our waitress only checked on us once to ask if my husband wanted to buy another beer. Other staff helped throughout the meal--dropped off food and gave my son and me refills. My daughter never got a refill. We've had bad service at Finney's before, but this was just especially irritating. People who sat down after us were getting their food before us...but also their waiter was checking on them. Bad service? I can excuse occasionally. People have bad days. Restaurants are understaffed sometimes. It's happened multiple times at Finney's though and now I've gotten sick from the food there. After a previous experience at another Finney's location, I hesitated to come to this restaurant. Urged on by family, I tried this Finneys and was pleasantly blown away by great service by Jesse, management by Josh, and excellent food! The fried pickles are great- nice and crispy with two dipping options of ranch and a buffalo-tasting-one. I had the ahi nachos which was fresh. The new chicken bowl was great! I added jalapeños. We've eaten at several Finney's before including this location but never reviewed. We came during opening time on a Saturday so it wasn't crowded. After we ordered we asked the host to change the channel for one of the TVs and he was so nice to accommodate our request! We went on Valentine's night which was naturally busy, but we got sat within 20 minutes. Our server and host were attentive and friendly. The carnitas nachos were tender and had a flavorful cilantro crema. The bacon and blue burger was initially well done (although I asked for medium), but our waiter fixed the issue immediately. The A5 Wagyu Burger was better in my opinion since the bacon and blue didn't have much of a blue cheese taste. The margarita flight was also tasty but the most notable one was the strawberry Cadillac. Overall, everything was delicious and I will be coming back! It was so packed all along Palm Ave. and so we ended up trying out Finney's and it did not disappoint. I ended up getting a few appetizers and all the flavors came together quite well. VEGAN OPTIONS SUSPECT!!! There are no vegan options on their menu. Definitely sports bar vibe very loud. Televisions everywhere, booth seating, table seating and shared table seating. Full bar. My server was very nice. I ordered cauliflower tacos and he went and checked and found out that they are battered and buttermilk. Offered a solution, impossible tacos. Hubby turkey burger & fries nothing fancy basic, but they still messed up his order twice. He asked for American cheese on his burger first time no cheese took it back made him a brand new burger no cheese . He was not happy. He would've just walked out, but I was in the middle my tacos. I don't know if it's luck but my family of 5 usually gets a table right away (early evening) even when the place is totally packed. Our usually go-to's are the: BUFFALO CAULIFLOWER MOROCCAN SALAD MAHI MAHI TACOS Portions are generous. They give a good size of Mahi Mahi and burger patty for my son. And I love the amount of sauce they put in the dishes: chipotle sauce for the tacos and buffalo + blue cheese cream sauce for the buffalo cauliflower app. Their dishes are deliciously bomb and full of yummy flavor! Are you one of those people who are elitist and snobbish to some degree in regards to where you dine? Meaning, you sort of scoff at chains or what you would consider a mediocre spot even before trying it due to the wide plethora of restaurant options in Los Angeles? No? Then you are a better man/woman than I because I admit that I tend to behave in such a manner. NOT because I am a bad person; but merely because there really are SO MANY places to try in the City of Angels! This is exactly where Finney's Crafthouse in Burbank held position in my life. I've walked past it a billion times but didn't even consider trying them until recently... And I am sure glad I did! Finney's is a family-owned affair founded in 2016 with a few locations in SoCal highlighting a brewhouse - casual esthetic sort of like a Bj's meets Applebee's but with that California twist. Beers on tap, sports playing on televisions but also family-friendly; Finney's serves a mostly 'American' menu but featuring some familiar ethnic fare. Burbank's location of Finney's sits on the promenade corner of San Fernando/Palms in Downtown Burbank by the Burbank Town Center Mall and AMC theaters nestled among all the other 800 eateries (I exaggerate but it feels like it) and shopping storefronts. Trust me that you too have walked, like me, past Finney's a million times and perhaps chosen other restaurants like I have. But I am here to tell you that you should mosey on back and try Finney's. The Burbank Finney's features a spacious, high ceiling indoor dining space alongside a small outdoor patio that also has an area that welcomes your four-legged furry friends. My boyfriend and I opted to sit outdoors on a warm Valley summer night and were INSTANTLY welcomed by our very friendly waiter. I forget his friend but he was an absolute gem with a lovely mix of professionalism, humor and warmth. We browsed Finney's alcohol menu which is overwhelmingly long with beers, lagers, ciders, wine, cocktails, kombuchas, non-alcoholic cocktails - if you can think of it, they have it! I decided to cool off from the heat and chose the Balcom Canyon Cider from nearby Ventura ($8) while my boyfriend chose the Lincoln Mosaic Pilsner ($7). For our dinner, my boyfriend (embarrassingly because he didn't want to seem like a child but was craving them) chose the Chicken Tenders app (mild or hot - he chose mild, served with fries - $13) while I went with the Moroccan Salad (mixed greens, dried cherries, almonds, carrots, cucumber, feta, tomatoes, chick pea crumble, quinoa, charred lemon vinaigrette and added shrimp - $14 + $6 shrimp). Our drinks arrived quickly (the food wasn't too far behind) served perfectly chilled in tall glasses. The cider was very refreshing and NOT overly sweet like typical ciders. In fact, it tasted more like beer. I stole a sip of my boyfriend's pilsner (I am Celiac so can't have beer) and it was delicious! Now, listen: I don't want to make myself sound bad but you know what? I can admit my faults and I expected the food at Finney's to be mediocre and on the level of Chile's or Applebees. Well, boy was I wrong! Finney's is much better than that! My Moroccan Salad was actually one of my favorite salads I've had in some time! First of all, Finney's does not skimp in size and the bowl was HUGE! Unlike many eateries that don't know how to proportion salad mix-ins properly; Finney's included a decent heaping of each while also having the PERFECT amount of the drizzled vinaigrette dressing! Alongside the shrimps; this salad is chef's kiss and I would 100% return just for this! Yum!! My boyfriend's Chicken Tenders were also large and I mean humongous: these were NOT just your standard chicken fingers, ladies and gents.  Although the plate only comes with 3 tenders; these are the size of schnitzel or chicken breast! Whoa baby! I didn't try them due to the glutinous breading but my boyfriend said the breading was crispy but tragically over-fried with the chicken being too dry. Bummer. However, the fries were quite good and served with three sauces: ranch, a chipotle aioli and sweet sriracha type sauce? Although it wasn't the best chicken tenders; it did satisfy his hunger. Finney's is interesting in its payment method as the tables have small electronic units that are both a gaming unit for children ($3 for most games) and a self-pay at the table so there is no need to wait for your wait staff to return with the check. Although, this obviously only works with credit card/bank card payment. Even though I assume the menu at Finney's is hit-or-miss based on my stupendous salad but my boyfriend's overcooked and dry chicken tenders; Finney's is still a surprisingly bold, solid and enjoyable dining experience. Don't be a snob and sleep on Finney's like I did and check out the Burbank location while in Downtown Burbank! read more

I really liked this place and was surprised I hadn't come here sooner. I sat at the bar to watch some college football games. They have a lot of beers on draft and specialty cocktails. Wagyu burger was a solid option. Great choice to go with the chipotle aioli sauce instead of the steak sauce instead. It's al a cart so I ordered and suggest the tater tots. Nice job hiding the jalapeños. It's hidden well into the deep fry process and gave a nice kick. Reasonable price for the full bar experience. Cocktails were a little pricey but great for beer options. Lots on tap and even better if you get there in the transition from happy hour to dinner service. Super busy on Friday nights especially with big sporting events on the tv's. Ate at the bar. The staff were fantastic and really helped each other. Lots of regulars at the bar. Located in the heart of downtown Burbank. On Saturday nights, there's a small farmers market right outside and if you are sitting in the patio, it creates a great atmosphere for people watching. The food and drinks here are pretty consistent with their other locations that I've been to. Service can be hit or miss, depending on who your server is. Our server did a decent job checking in on us throughout. I really like this location because of the ambiance and it's in the middle of the action. I would classify as elevated bar food. The cocktail menu is extensive with great options, including smoked cocktails. The food did not disappoint. The coconut shrimp was cooked well. I went there for lunch with my grandson. I added a medium steak in the Meditarian bowl but it came out raw (red) - one strike. When I looked at my emailed receipt at home, it was $5 charge for a raspberry lemonade which I did not order and did not have - a second strike. Our server was Brian. I called the restaurant right away and spoke with their manager, Daniel. He insistent that only one mistake was made (a charge for a raspberry lemonade) but not for the raw steak because I was offered to re-do. He obviously does not value customer's time - I did not want to wait another 30 minutes for the steak cooked the way I ordered it. Daniel promised to take out the overcharge and email me the correct bill. He did not correct my bill. How do I know it? The amount charged to my credit card was not changed to correct the overcharge. He did not email me either. What is a dishonest business with extremely poor customer service! Needless to say that I am not coming back. P.S. Just found out that Finney's is not a franchise.
