Fried zucchini appetizers-yum

Lovely restaurant perfect for a quiet dinner . Several seating options inside. Located on a cool street with several other dining options. Great service with filling dishes and tasty options. I got the saltimbocca that was a bit in the slaty side (but so have been avoiding salt lately). I enjoyed it very much though! Would definitely go back!

We had 24 people for lunch and everything was perfect

The service in this place is top notch. I have been here once before food and services is very consistent and amazing . I was surprised with our large group that the Service didn't take longer, but everything came out of the kitchen in a very timely manner. In New Jersey, you can bring your own alcohol to restaurants. Most restaurants do not serve alcohol. . We brought in several bottles of wine and the waiters automatically take them and get them put in either bottle chillers or sitting on the table. I've never had anything bad at this place. The food and the presentation is exceptional. The service from the whole staff is excellent.

Had never been to Fino before but know of it being a popular lunch place. Decided to try for dinner on a weekend with a few girlfriends. It was not overly busy for a weekend which was good and we were told we did not need to make reservations nor could they make them for under 6 people. Parking was pretty easy because you can park by the train station lot in the evening or the road up behind. Upon entering the first thing I noticed was how dark it seemed. It actually was so dark my friends and I had a hard time reading the menu and had to use the lights on our phone. I guess they're trying to set a vibe but they could've gone up a little in terms of the brightness there are decent amount of tables. This isn't a tiny place and the tables were not on top of each other which was nice. Our waiter was just ok. He didn't go through any of the specials although they were listed out on a separate sheet inside of the menu, but there were certain items that said "waiter will discuss" which he never did so I inquired. Also, he didn't bring us any wine glasses when we had three bottles that we brought, and didn't once refill our waters unless we asked. We ordered a few of the specials which included the almond crusted snapper, branzino in a lemon caper sauce, and then the seafood pasta. We enjoyed our dinners. The desserts however were the highlight. Once we were done, they brought a tray to the table so we could visually see everything. A lot of restaurants don't do this anymore but I think it helps to really see and get those tastebuds going. My group and I did feel the prices were hefty so when thinking of comparable restaurants in the area with the same style menu, they were above average in price. Overall 3.5

Fino is Excellence in the making! Definitely deserves a repay! Enjoy your evening with family and friends. Only thing is a problem is parking.

From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with "Welcome home" and seated. Bobby was our waiter and he was knowledgeable, polite, and offered my guests choices and recommendations on our orders. And in true Savini tradition, our Specials Menu had been prepared with a Happy Birthday notation on top of the page for my special guest! The Filet Mignon Crostini, a special on the menu, was fantastic! Each of our entrees was perfectly prepared and delicious. Desserts were also wonderful. The service at Savini is always exceptional, as it was last evening. This is my favorite restaurant, especially if we have a special occasion to celebrate! Grateful!!!

They have a way of making a special night feel even more significant, balancing professional excellence with genuine warmth. They even made a personalized Specials Menu for the celebration! And the food? It's consistently fantastic. We started with a spread of appetizers that set the bar high: the Stuffed Figs and Meatball specials were standout hits, and you can't go wrong with their perfectly crisp Caesar Salad or the Escargot Scampi in that delicious puff pastry. For the main course, the Filet Mignon Oscar and Veal Imperial specials were prepared to perfection - decadent and incredibly fresh. The Cacio e Pepe was authentic and flavorful, and the Capellini special was light, but OH SO satisfying. They topped off the night with a beautiful birthday surprise -- Crème Brûlée (complete with a "Happy Birthday" chocolate sign and candle!) along with the Mixed Berries with Biscotti (can't go wrong with perfection!). Thank you to the entire team at Savini's for making my 40th Birthday Extravaganza so memorable. Whether it's a casual dinner or a life milestone, this place remains our "steady ground" and our favorite tradition. Can't wait for the next visit!

To start off, I believe that I have been here before, but maybe not. This was before I started…read morewriting yelp reviews though, and i'm here now! Andreas is a local staple in Waldwick, NJ, that serves Italian Fare food. Went here on Thursday July 17th 2025 with my parents and my cousin, and his friend. We made a reservation in case it was busy there, and good thing, because around 7 or so it was starting to get busy! Highly recommend one does make a reservation. Was greeted by a host, who sat us at a table. Duly note, I did feel a little chilly, but always bring my sweater for that reason. The table was set with a wine glass, and a water glass, and silverware. perfect for an eventful dining experience. Our server came over right away and introduced himself. Only con is I really couldn't understand him that well, especially when he stated the specials. Anyways, we started with 5 waters, and some also ordered titos with sprite. My cousin also brought some wine with him- not sure if this place is BYOB (bring your own booze). We started off with Fried Calamari, Tomato and Mozzarella, and Zuccinhi Fritti. Food came out in a timely manner- we also took a while to look over the menu. I enjoyed the Zuccini and fried calamari! Finally we decided what we wanted-- I ordered the Zuppa De pesci, which was pasta with mussels, salmon, calamari, shrimp, and scallops. Some of the other dishes my party got was the scallop scampi, and some veal dish. I very much enjoyed my seafood entree- oh and the salad came with it too! I ate most of my meal, but then also took some leftovers home with me. Oh, and the server didn't quite communicate with me that they box the leftovers, but once i got the message, it was all good. Paid via a gift card, then the balance with a credit card, and left a cash tip. Highly recommend stopping at Andreas in Waldwick! If we are ever in the area again, would definitely go!

Food and service were excellent! I highly recommend this place, they have a liquor license, however…read morethey allow you to BYOB.

The first sign that something felt a bit off came when the hostess--who mentioned she was the chef's wife--presented the specials. She only described appetizer specials, including, somewhat oddly, guacamole and a Greek appetizer. Different, but not necessarily a dealbreaker. Since no entrée specials were mentioned, we assumed there simply weren't any. The menu is huge, not in offerings but rather the shear size of the menu was overwhelming. We were served bread, which was mediocre, and decided to order the stuffed zucchini flowers and burrata to start. Both appetizers were good. However, we were surprised to find that the bill reflected $22 for just four zucchini flowers. I don't mind paying for quality food, but that felt excessive--even for Ridgewood. We also initially received the wrong appetizer, though it was corrected quickly. For our entrées, we had the veal Milanese, which was decent, though slightly over-fried. Later in the evening, when a nearby table was seated, we overheard the dinner specials being described and realized there had, in fact, been entrée specials available. Unfortunately, we were never told about them, and some of the dishes mentioned sounded like options we would have considered ordering. There were a couple of aspects we didn't enjoy. First, the chairs were extremely uncomfortable. Although they appeared upholstered, they essentially felt like fabric stretched over wooden blocks--not ideal for sitting through a meal. Second, while the waitstaff was pleasant, it was difficult to get their attention for things like drinks, and the restaurant seemed understaffed. On the positive side, the hostess was warm and personable, even taking photos for guests, which was a nice touch. As the evening went on, however, the restaurant became quite loud. For a Tuesday night, we expected a quieter atmosphere, but it felt more like ladies' night out.

The hostess (& owner) was terrific as were all the servers. As for the food... it was outstanding! We had the tagliatelle, tortellini special, scallops and pork chop special. All were served hot and were all delicious. If we didn't live so far away, La Lanterna would be a go to restaurant for us. Now, unfortunately, it will be only when we see our NJ friends. (We may need to see them more often!) Bravo!
