Went to this restaurant twice. First time, it was a disaster. Which was understandable because they were new. Second time was much better, and the food was good. The ambience of the restaurant is very cool, and it makes you feel like you're in a restaurant up north. I'm not sure who the grim reaper in suspenders is, with really huge glasses on his face. The guy that dresses in black and has no personality. He should not be dealing with people. My server, the first time I went there, was an older woman, dark messy long hair, a little rough around the edges. Messy look aside, where did you find her? It took two times for her to get our order right, and the coughing into her hands, and biting of her nails that she does. Very disgusting. Are you desperate for waitresses? Our order was very simple, we were not difficult and we usually tip really well, but this waitress was the WORST that we have ever came across. She did not seem professional, and is definitely not clean. Mind you, we were very patient with her. Our food came out as mediocre, maybe because it was busy, or the waitress just could not give us our food while it was fresh. We don't mind waiting for quality food or service. We decided to go give it a second try. Second time, We sat at the bar. I'm not sure of the bartender's name, but she was asian. She was professional, polite and enthusiastic. She made our time at the bar very enjoyable. Our food arrived and it did not take as long. Steak was perfect, burger was seasoned well. We will be going back for the bartender. Not a great experience. Went with my family (2 adults, 2 kids, 1 infant). We arrived at 3:30pm on a Sunday to an empty dining room. The hostess tried to sit us at a 4 top against a wall, despite bigger tables in middle of room and lots of nice tables in front of windows. Hostess was annoyed when asked to change tables. Sticker shock when we saw the menu, but we stayed. Wife ordered Reuben, i ordered beef dip sandwich, daughter ordered grilled chicken salad, son had buttered noodles. All dishes were sub par. Reuben was gross, wife hardly ate it. Wife also thought cole slaw was spoiled. Beef sandwich had a strange smell to it, I figured out it was the au ju, so I stopped dipping my sandwich. Buttered noodles were literally soaked in butter (there was a huge puddle of butter in bowl). Salad was normal, nothing special. Coffee was stale and luke warm. And to top it off, all tvs were showing womens college basketball stead of NFL. Bill came to $56 for what was essentially lunch type food. Menu showed most dinners were priced $15 and up - which seems high to me. Not going back. read more

It's impossible to rate this place. Was there yesterday night, there was a guy STRIPPING, and of course gave his friend a lapdance. An old guy, in his Hanes underwear?!?! This place is weird. I am glad my kids were not there. I dont know about you, but i dont wanna see guys stripping when im trying to drink. Went to talk to the bartender. She apologised and said she had already cut off a bunch of them a while ago. Good call on that. I used to bartend, and I was telling her the funny stories I've experienced. Went back to my friends, and we just laughed about how stupid this place is. We agreed to leave and go to town pump, not very nice but no strippers at least! Greasy fat slob walking around in suspenders. Looked like the owner that everyone else has told me about. He kept looking at me, hello!! Eyes UP here not DOWN!!! Hope nobody actually married this sick looking bag of fat farts. Stay away from him, cause he looks creepy. Really creepy. Might devour your kids someday. read more

What a great little find! Car themed and decorated with a loving eye. A very nice menu. Burgers are great! Fin's is more than burgers. The menu offers an awesome selection of homemade Italian. Tough to choose. Great Alfredo. ( I added shrimp yum!) My Dad had the blackened salmon with Macaroni and Cheese. Salmon was great! Pasta portions are huge. The lasagna was layered with meatballs and sausage. Enough for two and declared delicious by four out of five. One did not try it! The bread and dipping oil is to die for. Our server Mickey was perfect. The owner came out to see if we were happy. And then to top it off...an original Sander's Hot Fudge Cream Puff Sundae enough for four... OMG!!! Definitely going back, love the food, the little town, the vacation feel, and have to have another Cream Puff! P.S. Some of the appetizers looked great but one tummy only has so much room! read more

I have been waiting so long for this place to open and I was so excited to see it up and running last night so my family decided to give it try. When we got there we found that it was opening night the staff was very friendly and nice and the place is absolutely beautiful with granite counter top bars, exposed brick walls, and an upstairs loft. There were very long wait times to get your table and your food. Everything we ordered was great though, I highly recommend the lemon chicken I ordered, it was so yummy! When you decide to try out don't be in a rush because your going to want to hang out. They have Rochester Red and Milkshake Stout on tap from my favorite brewery the Rochester Mills Brewery and I was super impressed, I love the Rochester Red! Hopefully this place will only get better and better Downtown New Baltimore desperately needed an upscale bar restaurant like this!!!! read more

Great service, food and decor. I had the lasagna and it was not only unique and delicious (especially the Italian sausage), the portion was so large I had it for another meal later. I was with four other people and tried their food, of course with their permission, and it was also terrific...the alfredo with shrimp, the mac and cheese with side blackened salmon, the camaro pasta, and the turkey burger. Make sure you try the baked bread basket with the oil/parmesan dipping sauce. This was our first time dining here and we will be returning soon. I look forward to trying one of their great-looking burgers, though based on my experience and the extensive menu, I am sure it is all good. read more

This place is gorgeous! We came in for opening tonight and had so much fun, although there were long waits for food to be expected with a brand new place everything was very good! I had Shrimp Scampi and my husband ordered the Ribeye, we waited 45 minutes but both we're excellent. There is nothing like this in the New Baltimore area, I'm so glad we have a cool new spot! They have a restaurant and bar downstairs and cool loft restaurant and bar upstairs, definitely worth checking out but do expect long waits because everyone wants in! read more

Tried this new place this weekend. Was pleasantly surprised at how good the food was for just opening a few days ago. The décor is really cool and the staff very friendly. We were a party of 4 and were seated within 10 minutes. 2 had Shrimp Scampi and 2 had the ribeye steak. Gotta say, it was one of the best steaks I have had in a very long time. Done perfectly! My husband and I enjoy craft beers and their selection is very good. We will certainly go back soon! Just what downtown New Baltimore needed. read more

Totally don't get the bad reviews. We eat here all the time and have ALWAYS had good service and good food. We love it and we are very picky! Love the pasta, the salmon, the wedding soup, the stuffed shells, the salads. Honestly, I just do not understand the reviews. I am very grateful this restaurant is here in our little city where we have lived for 35 years! Thanks to the owners for doing such a great job and giving us this great place to go! read more

My husband and I looked forward to Fin's opening up as a new restaurant and bar in New Baltimore. We had dinner and drinks tonight (4/30/14) and were very pleased with the prices, food quality and wait staff. Our waitress, Laura, was very knowledgeable of the food coming out of the kitchen and was very friendly and attentive. Great draft beer choices and my Martini was perfect. We highly recommend Fin's and will definitely go back again soon. read more

Attended a Company Christmas party for 18. The restaurant was clean, organized and the staff was professional and attentive, especially Mickey our server. We ordered ribeye with mushroom sauce, chicken Rockefeller and seaside salmon. All were absolutely delicious. The bar was also well stocked with an excellent wine selection. Will Definitely recommend to others. And, my husband and I will be frequent customers of Fin's establishment. Yum!!! read more

Very cool atmosphere, fantastic decorations. The wait staff is friendly and was prompt the evening I went there with my family. I ordered fish and chips, which was delicious. I guess they're known for their ribs, but I've yet to try them. Next time! Nice restaurant in a small town. So glad that this restaurant is taking a break during the pandemic. Maybe this will give them a chance to rethink their food handling practices, clean their kitchens and hire better kitchen staff. I don't even want to spend the time writing what we didn't like about Fin's, it would take forever. The food is borderline inedible, the service was so-so. We've gone a few times hoping it was new business glitches, but that doesn't seem to be the case and that's unfortunate because if they knew what they were doing it could've been fantastic. read more

We had a party of 4 about a week ago, got seated right away. Ordered the rib-eye steak dinner it was fabulous the service was excellent ! The owner Matthew even sat with us a few minutes...
