Came here last night and had such a fantastic experience! I really wish I could remember our waitress's name but I want to say it was similar to the restaurant name. She was a doll, we adored her! So pregnancy cravings lead me on a scramble to find creme brûlée at 8pm on a Saturday night, we just moved to the area not too long ago so I've been to the lucky right next to this, but never here. I actually would like to point out that this place is a gem, and had I seen advertisement I would've been here sooner, I didn't know it existed :(! My husband randomly decides we aren't going for dessert but rather full blown meal (not complaining lol) so we order the spinach ravioli and stuffed mushrooms. Ok hands down the best spinach ravioli that has ever come into contact with my mouth. That dish alone will have us coming back regularly lol! The stuffed mushrooms were delicious as well, the sauce was very very good! We get to dessert which the menu looks incredible, I told my husband we have to make an extra trip back just for more dessert lol! We both order the creme brûlée, and I hate to say it but I wasn't a fan :(!! The glaze on top was so rock hard I actually didn't eat it and pushed to the side instead which is usually my favorite part. Next, the inside was more like flan, it was chewy? We drove out from Hercules based on the reviews. It was around 6 on a Wednesday night and the place was about half full. The single server was overwhelmed but eventually took our orders, he was very kind and informed regarding the menu. Our food was delivered in a reasonable time and looked nothing like the pictures on the yelp page. The spouse had the carbonara with added shrimp, could not finish due to the quality of the cubed chicken. I wanted Marsala which is not on the menu and he offered to make me one. There was no Marsala wine sauce whatsoever, it was Thai peanut sauce and tasted like it was straight from a jar. My accompanying vegetables were good however the mashed potatoes seemed reheated. We spent over $70+ tip. Again the server was very kind and professional. We surmised the primary chef was on vacation or likely only works the busy weekend dinners. This place is wonderful and pretty romantic. My boyfriend took me out just tonight, just because. He just Google'd restaraunts in Concord and he noticed that this place had good reviews and looked like a nice place that we could grab some grub at. First off, the food was delicious! So much flavor, especially that appetizer dip that you could get for free if you check in. I ordered the lamb, and he ordered a seafood pasta. We took a bite out of each other's dishes and it was delicious. We both really enjoyed how flavorful everything we had ordered was. The atmosphere was also really wonderful, the lights aren't completely dimmed out, but it was dim enough to make the setting feel romantic. Service was also very great. I think there were only two people serving, a waitress and a waiter. It got really packed fast but they were both very attentive even when it got really busy. Why only 4 stars? - We both sat at the very end of the restaraunt. The restaraunt isn't that big, and when it's crowded, it's really hard to try to not bump into other people's tables. But the table that we sat in at the back was right next to the bathroom. There was a curtain that divided the table and the hallway to the bathroom. JUST a curtain. Some people who went to use the restroom completely forgot that there was a table next to the curtain and when they tried to exit the hallway, they ended up bumping straight into me during my meal. It was a bit bothersome.. Also, yes the food is delicious because there was so much flavor, but I honestly feel like for the price we paid, we should have gotten more. 20$ + tax for a small piece of lamb shank with 3 potato halves, 3 carrots slices, some green beans.. The lamb shank was as a big as a chicken drum stick you could get at KFC. 17$ for small plate of seafood pasta with only 2 PIECES of shrimp.. Valentines day ruined because of the unsympathetic owner. ( well except for the fact that I have an incredible boyfriend that made it great) We made prior valentine reservations here. We arrived Valentines day to a measly, poorly put together, expensive PRE fixed menu. (We had our eyes set out on several dishes appearing on there online menu) We asked Rude Owner if was can order something off the regular menu. He laughed and acted as if there "Regular" menu did not exist. He said he would be unable to do that. We said we would have not booked if we had known it was a pre fixed menu only, let alone such a vague selection of options not particularly appealing to a broad spectrum of people. He looked at us and laughed and walked away to attend someone else. We get up and proceed to walk out. Which I then walked up to him to tell him that our Valentines day has just about been ruined because we are now unable to book a dinner at any other restaurant due to it being Valentines day. He literally laughs and said with a sarcastic grin " sorry" and continues to help someone out at the bar....Wow! If I did not have any sort of dignity of self respect, I seriously would have caused a scene. Now thanks to the careless, scum bag owner, I can't help but shut my Yepen mouth about how bad this place is! Concord is a little short on romance, but humble places like Fiore do their best to keep that flame lit! I visited this strip mall gem with a friend for a Tuesday night dinner with an OpenTable reservation, which was ultimately not needed, and we enjoyed a pleasantly Concord-fancy low pressure dinner! The restaurant is small but quite well appointed, very pretty inside and they even have a nice bar setup. I'm not sure in such an intimate environment what a semi-rowdy bar would be like so close to elegant tables for 2, but hopefully they find a balance. I unfortunately didn't get our server's name but she was a lovely young woman with dark brown hair who was wonderfully polite and gracious - she even complimented my friend and I on our appearance with an "Oh, you ladies look so lovely!" Flattery will get you everywhere, my dear! We both ordered the special Scampi Risotto and had intended to go with the wine pairing suggested, but our server (only when asked) did advise that she wasn't a fan of that particular wine. THANK YOU FOR BEING HONEST, what a fantastic quality in a server. Keep your customers happy, it doesn't always have to be about going for the wallet's jugular! I ordered a glass of Sauvignon Blanc and my friend requested a taste of that wine before committing, which was honored without a hitch. Within 15 minutes, our server arrived with two plates - while the plates did contain shrimp and scallops as the menu promised, there was no risotto in sight, it was more of a fish & veggie dinner. We told our server we ordered risotto and those plates were swept away. About 5 minutes later the proper plates arrived. There was no explanation or apology given other than "there was a slight mix-up", but ultimately no harm done. The risotto was fine, not quite great - risotto should be supple and smooth, and this was more thick and chunky. The flavor was nice, but this wasn't a home run. The shrimp and scallops were tasty though and cooked well, so for the most part it was a pleasing dish. Two risottos and 3 glasses of wine rang in at $69 and change, $24 of which was the alcohol charge. Prices may be a LEETLE steep for a small neighborhood restaurant, but I think the quality of service, the elegant ambiance and substantive wine list give Fiore the credibility they need. A little old fashioned, and maybe a touch lackluster - but overall a very pleasant and welcoming restaurant I would be happy to return to. read more

As someone with Celiac and who is very careful to look for gluten free places that feel safe & also have good quality food, I recommend this restaurant whole-heartedly! I would always see it and wonder why is it so busy?? And now I know the answer! It's delicious! My family & I were able to reserve for my family (since Corona virus restrictions have been set in place they can seat large groups only if you're a family). We are so that worked out! I was so glad that we were able to be accommodated! They have a gluten free penne that I got with cream sauce & mushrooms! I also got the mixta salad that was delicious, & spumone for dessert! My family thoroughly enjoyed their meals as well! Hands down this pasta was so good I had to triple check that it was gluten-free! If you haven't tried this place yet you won't regret it! Fiore is a notch up from your typical Concord restaurant. The restaurant is richly decorated. The room is very long so the tables seem quite crowded. All the tables for 4 are up against a single wall with very little space between them. I was happy to be a table for 2, which was up against another wall and had much more space. Service was consistent, our water glass was never empty, staff was efficient and timely. Fiore dip - balsamic vinegar, olive oil, feta cheese, pesto, olives. Sounds like a basic combination so I'm surprised that I haven't seen this offered anywhere else, but it's delicious. Virtually every table at the restaurant ordered this dip. Bf and I both agreed it was the best dish of our meal. $3. 5 stars. Bruschetta - 2 pcs of each: smoked salmon w/ capers and cheese; mushrooms and cheese; the third I could not exactly identify other than cheese and a light tomato sauce. Nice variety. $7. 5 stars. Cioppino - tiger prawns, clams, mussels, salmon in a tomato-based broth. Lacked a certain zing. I felt like it could have used more white wine or even lemon. $13. 3 stars. Ceasar salad - basis ceasar salad but with olives and a couple of anchovies (easily removed if you don't like them). I love anchovies so actual anchovies is what drew me to order this salad, but it turned out to be very blah. Not a bad salad (I pity any restaurant that f's up a ceasar salad), but definitely nothing exciting about it. Could've used more dressing too. I KNEW I should've ordered one of their other salads--all the other salads sounded so exciting, but I just couldn't resist the lure of anchovies. Not worth the $9. 2 stars. Gnocchi - grilled chicken squares with potato squares and some kind of shell-shaped pasta in a creamy sauce. I didn't like this dish at all but the bf did. I felt the pasta was too undercooked--the texture reminded me of mochi, and I absolutely hate the texture of mochi. Wasn't crazy about anything else in the dish either. But the bf disagreed, so it may just be a matter of taste. $14. If it was me, I'd give it 1 star, but my bf would give it 4. Apricot sorbet - when I took a taste of this, I was delighted at how much it tasted like real apricots. And then I thought about it some more and wondered if that was a good thing, cuz why not just eat frozen apricots then? But it was a truly refreshing sorbet. I would love to have this in the summer months. $5. 4 stars. Tiramisu - I'm not a huge fan of tiramisu in general but I once went to this Italian restaurant in Orinda that has since closed down that had the most original and delicious tiramisu that ever existed since the beginning of civilization. So even though I don't really like tiramisu, sometimes I order it in the hopes that it will turn out to be like that other tiramisu. This one wasn't. It was a little too coffee-ish and not milky enough. Ok I suppose but this is the kind of tiramisu I'm not a fan of. $6. 3 stars. I'm glad we tried this place. I had dinner here today and it was pretty good. The bread was good, but it could have been a little warmer. I got the soup of the day: spinach and aspargus soup. It was a little runny, but very good. For my main entree, I ordered spagehtti with tomatoe sauce, basil, and garlic. This was very good. It came with a lot of sauce, which I liked and I could see garlic in the sauce. This was probably the best spaghetti with tomatoe sauce I've had at a restaurant. Update: I went here last week for dinner on a wednesday night. It wasn't that crowded in the restaurant and it was hot that night. When I told the waitress it was just me dining, she insisted I sit at the bar. I told her that I would like to site at a table. Luna has a little sister named Fiore, and she equally dazzles the palate. From the warm bread and delicious dip to the pumpkin gnocchi to the chocolate fondant and muscat, everything was magically delicious. The service was friendly, and the owner actually remembered us from our last visit, which was a few months back. We had imbibed much wine with our lunch, and he was really polite and holding back his amusement at our condition. Before Luna and Fiore came to Concord, we would have to drive to another city to dine whenever I went home to visit our parents. I was just passing by this place while I was in the shopping center on clayton road and decided to bring my husband there that night for dinner. I was expecting it to be as good as it was because of its location, but the saying dont judge a book by its cover certainly rings true in this instance. They have a great wine and beer list as well. I really wanted to like Fiore's food especially after all the great reviews I read. I might be willing to go back and try some other entree because perhaps I ordered the wrong dish. Anytime, I go to a new Italian restaurant, I try their Saltimbocca because I love this dish. I have never forgotten the best veal Saltimbocca, I had in an Italian restaurant in Washington D.C. If a restaurant can make a great Satimbocca, then the rest of the items on the menu will be good. At least, that has been my experience. I honestly was looking forward to trying this dish. When I took my first bite, the one ingredient that stood out was "salt". Their Saltimbocca was very salty. That overpowered the flavor of the veal. I wondered if the chef had even tried this before sending it out. Then, I tried the steamed carrots and they were delicious, but the steamed zuchinni were bitter. The three pieces of potatoes were tasty as were the steamed beans. The sauce over the Satimbocca had a nice flavor, but not enough to redeem it. To replace the bitter zucchini, the waitress brought me some steamed carrots. I also order their lasagne to take home to my husband because some of the reviews raved about it, but my husband said this dish wasn't very tasty and as far as he could tell, the main ingredient were the lasagne noodles. I don't think there were any other ingredients and if there was, it was sparse. The sauce over the lasagne was spicy, but not a good spicy. Just a tangy type of spicy sauce. My husband's verdict is that he did not like the lasagne and my husband being Italian usually loves great lasagne. When I saw this place I didn't know what to expect. I can now say this is a gem within this small shopping center. The staff is friendly, nice casual setting, full bar and reasonable prices. Before I came here I had to check out the site to see what they had on the menu. When we arrived, the menu was slightly different, but not in a bad way. We order the bruschetta, Gamberi Fiore and Fettuccine Gamberi. We also ordered the bellini. The wild mushroom bruschetta was by far my favorite out of the 3 different types that were offered, with the artichoke coming in second and the toy box tomatoes coming in third. When I received the Gamberi Fiore which is prawns in a white wine sauce with lots of yummy wild mushrooms and an assortment of veggies and potatoes. I abosolutely enjoyed my dish and while I thought at the beginning it wasn't enough, by the end I was full. The fettuccine in Fettuccine Gamberi was cooked just right and the prawns tasted better than mine. I would come back here again so that I could try some of the desserts as well. After reading so many positive reviews about this place, I was expecting to be blown away. What a disappointment. The location seemed a bit odd, since it was next to K-Mart and Payless Shoes. Once I went inside, I was pleasantly surprised by the restaurant's inviting atmosphere with pretty paintings and friendly staff. But that's where the good ended. Our server had to be flagged down many times, which was understandable because it was a Saturday night. But it isn't acceptable for the server to forget what we asked for and make us repeat ourselves several times. And it's also unacceptable that the server didn't know what language 'fiore' was in. Now to the food. The bread was just mediocre. The sauce in Toscana Ravioli was way too salty for my taste. Both fettuccine dishes my family members ordered seemed to have over-cooked fettuccine noodles, which almost felt like eating chow-fun. The sauce in Fettuccine Gamberi almost tasted like rich ketchup. This place was packed that night, so obviously people love the food here. But the food just didn't live up to the high expectations. I've been looking forward to Fiore for some time now. We finally got there last Friday night. I was immediately taken with the lovely dining room. Exactly the kind of place you want to come out of the cold to. We ended up on the patio but it was a warm night so it was pleasant. Now the important part - the food. Honestly, I think the food only deserves 2 stars but I can tell the owner has his heart in the right place and I really want to see this place succeed (which it seems to be doing) so I gave it three overall. Granted, I'm comparing it to the best Italian food I know (Delfina, Incanto and Pizzaiolo for example) but my tastebuds simply won't accept the excuse that we should lower our expectations because we're a in a strip mall in Concord. However unattainable, you should always strive for the highest quality. I know with some time and effort they could make this a truly amazing restaurant. We ordered an appetizer of meatballs to start. Who can argue with meatballs right? They were satisfying but in need of improvement. For one thing, it came with two sauces. Why is that a problem? The beauty of Italian food is in its simplicity. More than any other food culture, they understand the beauty of less is more. One sauce, a dark red tomato concoction that the meatballs appeared to have been cooked in, was fine but nothing spectacular. The other was salmon-colored (probably tomato based with cream) and used to dress the plate. It added nothing to the overall dish and made the overall flavors muddy and indistinct. Do one sauce and make it great, not two sauces that are both so-so. I followed with a Caesar salad which I consider to be a benchmark for nearly any restaurant. Again, it was perfectly edible but not a stand out in any way. I appreciated that the croutons were house-made but again, it suffered from overcomplication of tomatoes and olives. And the dressing was a little heavy on the acid notes. The owner should take a trip to Zuni Cafe in SF and try the best of the best. There's no reason he couldn't get close. For my main course I had the mushroom ravioli in a madeira sauce. This dish needs major help. The filling was so pasty it coated your tongue and felt disgusting in your mouth. If they hadn't said, I would have had absolutely no idea what it was. And the sauce was very heavy on the madeira to the point where that's really all you could taste. My boyfriend had the spinach/ricotta ravioli but strangely, it came in a cream based sauce. I can't say that it was horrible but dairy on top of dairy does nothing to enhance either one. Service was good overall. The food runner tried to deliver the food to the wrong table with every single course (and happened to the other outdoor tables as well) but it always ended up in the right spot so no worries. And the timing was also good. No huge time spans between courses or hurrying to finish a salad as the main course arrived. Overall, this place suffers from overcomplication and muddy flavors. I deifnitely plan to return but I hope the owner will spend more time studying and eating really exquisite Italian food and apply those lessons to his own restaurant. Menu was fixed for Valentines Day, none of the items were super special...It was a 3 course meal for $50 per person (two = $100), consisted of a salad (very light), a main course and a wedge of dessert....If you look at their dinner menu, a 3 course would get you to $35 per person...so what did I pay $30 extra for? I've only been here once (well, they only recently opened), and wow, all I can say is...YUMMY! The owner is the nephew of the owner of Luna Restaurant in downtown Concord, which is the source of another five star rating from me. During our first visit, everything was excellent. Three of us shared a delicious ceasar salad (which definitely had anchovies, so be careful if this is something you like to avoid), and the portion size was enough for three of us to easily share. Our three main courses were the sole, linguine with mussels and clams, and the pasta with basil, garlic and tomato sauce. All three entrees were delicious! The service was friendly, gracious, and unpretentious. The owner/chef also came out to say "hi", and to see if we enjoyed our meal, which is always a nice touch. The desserts definitely resemble the menu selection at Luna, and like Luna, their wine choices by the glass are limited. They seem to have a good selection of reasonably priced wines by the bottle, though, which is nice. Yes, the location is odd, but we were there on a Sunday night, and the place was packed. I think this area of Concord is really ready for some nicer dining, so I hope this restaurant does well. An awesome suggestion by my brother while we were in Concord. The food is excellent, the prices are great and the portions are satisfying at this cozy little restaurant. I've only been here once, so I can't say anything about the consistency, but first impressions are, how they say, the most important; so a 5 it is for now. I had the gnocchi with sausage and mushrooms. The gnocchi was cooked perfectly - not raw and not soggy. The real star of the meal was the Fiore dip, however. This was my first time coming to this restaurant, and I feel like I've been missing out. I rarely come this deep into Clayton road (I live in wc), and it's impossible to see from the road, so I've never seen it. I was in love at first glance. Gotta love the little whole in the wall look with a little patio. "You didn't make reservation?" A common symptom of a place in high demand (a small place as well). Luckily it was nice enough to sit out side. Like most small Italian places, it seemed like there was 1 waiter in the whole restaurant. The menu however is very colorful, with perhaps a slight lacking is seafood. I did have a slightly meaty lunch so I wanted to lighten up. I ended up ordering the ratatouille and the salmon, both were antipasti. They are composed of the following: Ratatouille - Baked eggplant, zucchini, tomatoes & mozzarella cheese with marinara sauce and pesto oil Salmon - Baked Atlantic Salmon & Day boat Scallop Mousse with fresh tomato lobster sauce garnished with crab meat. Both were five star dishes. The salmon was absolutely amazing. So tender and juicy and the lobster sauce was exquisite( ima sauce freak). The ratatouille was unique for me because I had never had it, ad I'm not all that familiar with eggplant. However, it was so complex in flavor, the sauce once again was amazing. I often combined bits and it made for a beautiful blend. The ratatouille also came with a decently sized salad that was also quite complex for a simple side salad, not what I expect from an appetizer dish. I haven't exactly been disappointed in many of the Italian restaurants in phill, concord, wc area. My favorite dish (sauce I should say) is the pesto gorgonzola Riga at pasta primavera, a restaurant that receives poor reviews nowadays. I've tried Luna, bravo bistro, Melos (of course), maruccis, even prima, il fornaio, montecatinis. Fiore didn't have the best seafood selection, didnt have the fancy dipping sauce for the bread, but when it came down to it, this place brought quality to the table. When we found out Fiore is run by some of the same people who are at Luna's, we were excited because we love Luna's, but Fiore's is so much closer to our house. We are repeat customers at both locations and the food is always delicious. We often get pasta and steak. Also, if you love chocolate, order the chocolate molten cake for dessert. Yum! When we bring our kids, we order the lasagna....they LOVE it. We usually order one and the kids split it. Plenty for both. The kids love coloring on the 'tablecloth'. We tried Fiore's for brunch one day and it was likewise delicious. I had the eggs benedict. read more

Family recommended this place to us. He comes by all the time and gets the seafood pasta. Im not big on Italian food but I'm glad we gave this place a shot. This place doesn't venture to far out of the norm but it definitely was not bland. We will return. read more

Wow this place was really good. I ordered online and didn't have high expectations but again, wow! The interior was nicer than expected however a little dark but really nice for couples and small groups. Whenever I try an Italian place for the first time I always get spaghetti. I do this because I'm picky and know exactly what I want it to taste like. Okay, this was nothing like what I always want my spaghetti to taste like but I was pleasantly pleased with it. I'd say I now have two ways I like my spaghetti to taste and I'll be getting it again soon. Warning: My to go container and bag that it was in was super hot which is a good thing but was a little hard to carry LOL. In fact, I thought when I got home it would have cooled off a little but nope it was still just as hot and I loved every hot bite of it. I can't wait to try some of their other dishes now. read more

Oh man. I barely even know where to start. I liked the atmosphere as soon as I walked in; very warm and cozy. It wasn't that crowded since it was a Tuesday night. We had the escargot appetizer. It was my first time trying escargot and I loved it! It came with a delicious pesto-garlic sauce which we had fun dipping our bread in =) The red bell pepper soup was TO DIE FOR. Creamy, a little heat, and with a good amount of parmesan it was really perfect and I could've had it as the whole meal. I ordered the gnocchi with Italian sausage and mushrooms in a creamy, spicy tomato sauce. The gnocchi was cooked just right, the sausage was smoky, and the sauce was appropriately spicy. Usually spicy things are just heat and no flavor, but this was a really nice blend of both. My boyfriend had the Toscana ravioli with prunes in a cream sauce. Also delicious! Lots of different, distinct flavors that came together very nicely. We had a crepe with strawberries and bananas a la mode for dessert. Mmmm. The presentation for this was delightful and the crepe was plate-scraping good. The manager (?) gave us complimentary dessert wine as well, and we were very happy campers. The service was excellent and timely, our waitress's suggestions were great, and it was overall an excellent culinary experience! I would definitely go back (and soon!). read more

Had lunch there today. Wow! Fettuccine with shrimp and crab and a hearty tomato sauce. Delicious! The pasta was perfect: al dente without being harsh on the dental work. The shrimp were good size and cooked just right. Service was excellent, but there were just a few diners there. Enjoyed a glass of Chianti that was wonderful.
