The food was absolutely incredible. The hummus plate and salad was so fresh, there was nothing left! The lamb was so tender and flavorful and the presentation was really well done. My wife had the chicken kabobs which were tender and flavorful. Heck, my picky kids loved the food also! And that's just the meal... the service was friendly and quick, my first time there I felt like family! The ambiance is really well done, I felt like I was in the Middle East! And top that off with a really awesome belly dancing show! I highly recommend! We had an absolute blast! We will be back!

The place is really relaxing and cozy. You can really have a nice party here. Food was so great and owner is really accommodating. At night they also have music and a show. Please come and check it out. Nabeelah and Nader is very very nice. Shows start by 7:30-9:30

    #3 Crepe to go!!

This is by far my favorite place to visit for a unique dining experience! The husband and wife team go above and beyond to ensure all of your dining needs are met, plus their hospitality and friendliness makes coming here like visiting good friends! They serve your cup, and serve your soul. Forget Starbucks, order their Turkish Coffee!!The Mint tea??? Amazing. The Bastilla is so yummy. The hummus and salad plates (with his special sauce), dolmas and crepes are my favorites! I haven't been for the dinner service yet, with their dinner menu and belly dancers, but I will! The brunch is a lovely intimate experience. It feels like you are dining as a guest in their home. They entertain you with stories, music, drink tricks, jokes and more. Not to impress you, but because they genuinely enjoy having you there as their company. Every time I have been we laugh, we sing, we dance, we learn about each other and I always leave looking forward to my next visit with my friends at El Moracco!

I was excited to find El Morocco since North African cuisine is very rare around these parts. I used to eat it all the time when I lived in the South of France, where there is a large population of people from Morocco, Algeria, and Tunisia. However, I was pretty disappointed here. The limited menu items, and a significant price increase from the photos of the menu that people had posted merely a month before. The overall ambiance was nice, and they were kind enough to ask if the music was too loud without us having to say anything about it. It's one thing when the music creates an ambiance, it's another when you can't even talk to the people that you're sitting with. My group ordered three tajines and the honey chicken, as well as the Moroccan wine, hummus, and dolmas. The appetizers were great, especially the hummus. They actually gave us enough pita which most places don't. Two of my party were gluten free and we asked if they had some veggies or something to go with the hummus. They brought out some lettuce which apparently was nice and refreshing. The wine was kind of a dull table wine, nothing to write home about. My tajine was lukewarm and basically just tasted like lemon. The veggies were over cooked, and there wasn't the dried fruit, cinnamon, and spices that I am used to having. Even the olives seemed to be from a can. Overall the plate was actually pretty sparse. It didn't resemble anything like what I have had before, or even other peoples photos here on Yelp. And no side of couscous. Every Moroccan restaurant I've ever been to gives you a side of couscous with your tajine. So the meal wasn't very good, quite underwhelming really, and very much over priced. But what made the experience a big fail for me was the fact that everything took at least twenty minutes. We spent over three hours here mainly just waiting on things. We place our order for drinks and appetizers. The appetizers come out 20 min later. We ask for our wine. It comes out 20 minutes later. We try to flag someone down to take our order. That takes 20 min. We place our orders, and that must have taken a good hour. Every little thing was a huge wait, we even had to go get someone to bring us our bill, which also took a long time to get. And to top it off, 20% gratuity was automatically added. So I don't think I'll be coming back. Which makes me sad because I was really looking forward to this place.

    From the owner!

We took my dad here for his 85th birthday and had a fantastic time. Everyone else has already reviewed the beautiful decor. And we thought the food was delicious! The show was great and the belly dancer was really sweet, posing for a photo with my dad, who due to balance issues couldn't go up and dance with her. But what makes this restaurant exceptional is the service. Conor, the server was AMAZING! From the minute we walked in, he took care of everything. He gave us the perfect table with a place for my dad's walker, he took our diabetic cupcakes to the fridge (and later brought them out on a platter with a candle), he found a temporary vase for the flowers we gave our mom for Mother's Day, he did an incredible trick with the mocktail, and checked on us constantly. A super nice guy. And the owner was so awesome! He went above and beyond and even bought balloons for my dad in advance. I loved this restaurant and we can't wait to go back and try brunch!

El Morrocco- a hidden gem that's been around FOREVER (I celebrated my 21st bday there ) Still amazing! The perfect place for a celebration or fun night out. The decor transports you to Morrocco and the service is great!! Interesting cocktails- get the one that spins!! The food is also great and HUGE portions. We started with the hummus- the best we have had with warm fluffy pita. The bastilla is a unique must- get dish. Flakey phyllo encases shredded spiced chicken and eggs with a sweet cinnamon spice. The tajin is perfectly slow cooked lamb and chicken with veggies and olives (wish more olives in dish). The couscous dish had surprisingly little couscous but LOTS of chicken shrimp and veggies. The meat was so tender in all the dishes and flavorful. We ended with Moroccan mint tea and baklava. ... and of course let's not forget about the show!! They have belly dancing!!! Amazing talent and they pull people up to dance and learn! Fridays and Saturdays are usually a bit longer belly dancing shows. Also noticed they offer lunch and brunch now too! I don't believe there is belly dancing at these times but would be a fun brunch if they added dancing then!

I went to dinner at around 6:30pm. I walked in, and there was noone to greet me or seat me for about 10 minutes. There was a group of 4 people there at one table and the rest of the restaurant was empty. I walked back out, and then back in just so they can hear the door, but still noone. I shouted hello for them to even come out and he told me to sit wherever i wanted. I ordered a diet coke and Lamb Tajine. Diet coke was obviously from a broken machine that lacked syrup. Tasted horrible, i sent it back. Lamb tajine was okay. Ive had tajine multiple times, this one was lacking explosive flavor and I thought Id be getting a lamb shank but instead got some lamb pieces and alot of bones. It seems like a nice experience to go and watch belly dancers and its possibly a different vibe when the restaurant is busy, but i wasnt feeling it unfortunately last night.

Came here for a birthday celebration. The ambiance is incredible. Very beautiful restaurant and they have belly dancing and music at night time. The food is honestly very overpriced and tastes a lot like crockpot food. I don't think it's exactly authentic Moroccan food so if your intent is to eat authentic Moroccan food I wouldn't really recommend this place. However the cultural aspect is phenomenal and service is pretty great. If you plan to come on a night it's etiquette to bring some cash to give to the belly dancers.

Sign that says Brunch but in the door sign says Closed for brunch.

We make this big family trip in the morning for Sunday brunch as Yelp clearly says Sunday brunch and open hours. There is also a large sign in front that says they offer Saturday and Sunday Brunch. Son visiting from out of state so it's a huge deal. We get there and it's closed. Very disappointed.

To keep it short…read more.. Excellent food. Excellent service. Gluten free options. I will definitely make sure to visit again when I'm in town. -------------- If you want to read my story of how and why I tried this place, read more here: I walked by this place while my car was getting an oil change. They had a sign that said in big letters, "HUNGRY? We can fix that!" Like Winnie the Pooh, I checked in with my stomach and answered yes! I was famished. I had brought my lunch with me but left it in the car while it was getting the oil changed, so I had nothing to nibble on. It was kind of early, maybe 10 AM, and I didn't even think they would be open, but then I realized they did have the sign outside on the sidewalk. I walked by the front door and it opened automatically. My heart started to flutter. So I went to look at their menu online and saw that they had chicken shawarma bowls. I love chicken shawarma. I decided to look them up on Yelp and make sure they had good reviews. I realized that they were a sponsored ad, and that gave me pause. The last time I went to a Middle Eastern restaurant that was sponsored, it was not so great, so I quickly checked the reviews. They have pretty good reviews! One review said that the chicken was dry, but others were more positive. I had a really good feeling, so I ordered it. Another reviewer commented that the rice was so good -- and they're not normally a rice enthusiast -- so when I placed my order, I upgraded my rice from the white rice that comes with the order to the rice infused with turmeric and garbanzo beans. When I opened my order, the bowl was a pretty decent size. If my husband had been with me, we probably would've been able to split it. In my order, I saw: * Seasoned chicken drizzled with shawarma and a delicious white sauce. * Hummus * Tomato cucumber salad * And this yellow turmeric rice I couldn't resist -- the rice was the first thing I tasted, and it was delicious! I can't quite figure out what flavors are in there, but I could taste a hint of cinnamon, and there were definitely other flavors there. The chicken was moist and flavorful. The hummus could very easily be the best hummus I've ever had. I really enjoyed this meal. I really wanted to eat the entire bowl myself but decided to save half of it for my daughter, who I know will also love it. Customer service was excellent. Adam was at the counter and greeted me very warmly. And when I was leaving, they asked me if I wanted hot sauce and then they put that in the bag. Overall, I give this five stars. I love that the food comes in an eco-friendly container. If there's anything that I could change, it's probably that they put it in a plastic bag instead of a paper bag. I try to avoid plastic as much as possible, but the container was quite big and needed to be in a bag while I hiked back to the oil change place. Oh, and before I forget... one of the first things I asked before I ordered is if the shawarma plate was gluten-free, and he assured me that everything in it was unless I was getting pita. And one more fun note -- when I got back to the car place, someone walked in, saw my food, and immediately asked, "Oh, is that from Manakish?" I was pretty impressed they could recognize it just by the look, especially since the restaurant is about half a mile away. Oh...and when i gave it to my daughter...she loved it so it gets two thumbs up!!

I got exactly that - asked for a spicy lamb gyro wrap. The freshly made warm gyro wrap was just ok, and was also unfortunately very salty (probably an off-day). I still prefer the lamb gyros from Q's. For dessert, I asked for the pistachio borma. It was good, but I could tell that it wasn't fresh. Falafels were on-point. On a second visit wanting a lighter meal, I decided to only get the salads, and the dolmas. The salads here are really good. Too bad, most people don't seem to check those out. The tabouleh had the right amount of tanginess, bite and really the best that I've ever had (and I typically dislike tabouleh). The Mujaddara salad was equally tasty. Loved their dolmas which weren't crazy tangy like most other places. Same with the hummus. Their hummus version is the best that I've had in the recent past. Ambiance is fine for a sit-down meal as well (although this is only a small hole-in-the-wall place), and service was quick and efficient. My gyro craving remains unfulfilled, and this place did not deliver. But Babalou's does the salads really well and I'll go back just for the salads.

The first thing I noticed right away was that they love their sumac here. I don't mind it at all and the more sumac the better I think. The rice is really fluffy and pairs really well with the chicken. With the tzatziki sauce drizzled on top and extra to add on each bite, it's a great combo wombo of flavor. The hummus is really good too! It is not watery like some places and holds its shape well. Went great with the rice/chicken, with pita or even by itself! Salad was just mix of greens, tomatos, cucmbers with some cheese crumble. No olive oil or vinegar was added so I had to spread some tzatziki to give it a little boost. Overall the dish was really delicious. I would recommend to come here if you like Mediterranian food. Interested in their falafal and would likely get that next time. We came in on a weekday for the lunch special and I was excited to see it was still on the menu. I ordered the vegan beef koobideh and added a vegan chicken koobideh for $5. They also bring out butter and half a raw onion, which I always thought was random until I asked my Persian coworker how you're actually supposed to eat it. Turns out the butter is meant to be mixed into the warm rice so it melts, and the onion is used as a palate cleanser. You peel off a small piece and take a bite between eating your rice and protein. Once you know, it totally makes sense. Between the two koobidehs, the vegan beef was the clear winner. It was flavorful and honestly didn't taste like fake meat at all.
