Quite disappointing. The food was very traditional Italian-American fare, with limp pasta, red sauce, and breaded cutlets of this and that. A bit too expensive for what it is. But what made for a particularly disappointing meal was the quality of the service and the total disregard by what seems to be the entire restaurant for masking and social distancing. In terms of bad service, we had an incident with a piece of trash discovered in a wine glass once the wine had been poured. (it was a piece of cellophane wrapper from what turned out to be one of the after dinner mints) When this was called to the attention of the waitstaff, a new glass was procured and delivered to the table, empty. Then our waiter came by, asked what was going on...we told her...and she shrugged and left. We lost a full glass of wine over this, and never was there mention of replacing the wine (just a glass of wine - the bottle was sold by the glass as well as by full bottles - would have done) or compensating us at all. It was all sort of "no harm no foul"...except we lost money (less of a big deal than the oblivious rudeness). In terms of the masking, NO ONE was wearing a mask in the restaurant other than the wait staff and the host. Tables were crowded together, people clustered at the front door, patrons wandering around the dining room...no masking. No pretense of COVID-related safety. Just not what I'd expect in late 2021 in Massachusetts. Expensive bland food, garbage in the stemware, rude staff, possible COVID. If that's your bag, Fiorella's could be your cucina. If not, there are lots of other restaurants nearby. Go find one. read more

Quite disappointed. I was looking forward to an upscale, tasteful meal but what we ordered was terribly disappointing. My husband ordered the scallops lemoncello, which was cloyingly sweet and didn't seem to be made fresh ... like the scallops may have been pan fried, but hours earlier. The asparagus and risotto too. My Chicken Lazario was drowning in olive oil and also not very hot. The piece of garlic bread it came with looked good, but one of the bites I took I could literally feel the oil run into my mouth. This is an awesome little Italian restaurant in The Rochester public market. The menu is simple and everything tastes fresh and authentic. The Cacio de Pepe is one of my faves! have gone here for both lunch and dinner on a few occasions and have always had a great experience. It is not fancy, so if you are looking for that, you will be disappointed. It is a down to earth, clean, chic, and friendly spot that makes you feel as though you stepped into a European restaurant far from home. I went to Fiorella's tonight for curb-side pickup and this girl on the phone ,she was very short, but was very helpful. Seeing as I didn't know pizza I wanted cuz im kinda fat, she did an excellent job at helping. Since it opened a year ago, we leave happy after each meal, whether lunch or dinner. Everytime out of town guests visit,we bring them here,as we know all will receive a satisfying meal for a reasonable price. Our favourite lunches include either the veggie chicken or goat cheese salad but always accompanied by the meatballs. Evening meals, some of us prefer the fish dishes but others enjoy the pasta dishes and there is always enough to bring home for the next day. The home-made strawberry tequila and barrel aged Manhattan seem to be the most interesting drinks to us. These usual drinks not only go down smoothly, but also hit the spot if you are in the mood to try something out of the ordinary and festive. We Wait and wait for them to serve a meal that we consider a " miss," but time after time they continue to serve a " hit." read more

We have been coming here for a few months and food has been really consistent. Or favorite things are the Chicken Parmesan, Chicken Broccoli Alfredo, and Baked Gnocchi. But tonight I had the Fusilli Bolognese and it blew me away. Perfectly seasoned, fresh pasta, and just the right amount of pasta to sauce. I am sorry to say that I did not give this restaurant a fair rating after my first experience there. It's true what they say that you can't decide against a restaurant after only one meal, and I did and it was wrong. Since my first meal in February (and harsh rating) I had no choice but to return for a friends birthday in June and I was pleasantly surprised! My meal was both delicious and of high quality. Had the pleasure of going here on Tuesday. I must say the food and ambiance are wonderful. The service this night left a lot to be desired. Waiter upon sitting not only wanted us to place a drink order but also our food order . I guess he wanted to turn the table over quickly as he claimed the kitchen was busy. The salad came in 30 seconds. The food even though we placed it immediately upon his request took close to an hour to arrive and was luke warm. He never asked if we wanted another drink nor did he ever refill our water glasses. I would go back but never with this waiter. read more

Pre-meal bread was stale, flat, tasteless. We felt it was leftover food from the pizza dough. The main course was likewise unappealing. My wife had the shrimp scampi. It was sour and largely inedible. We didn't finish it. My seafood fra diavolo was generally ok, but uninspiring. The waiter was reasonably nice, but seemed uninterested in us. I took my wife here on a recommendation from a colleague. It was very quiet, as there were very few people present at the lunch time on a Thursday. This was to be our anniversary lunch. I did not enjoy the herbs in their red sauces on pasta and pizza or the execution of their chicken parm, chicken marsala (so sweet and sticky) and their bolognese. Went a few times and though it was meh. Kind of like a pizza/lunch place that is trying to go upscale, but not skillfully. Was definitely hopeful about another restaurant in the area, and went a few times, but for us, this place just didn't pan out. We ate dinner here with a group of friends before the theater and had a delicious meal with a pleasant, well informed waiter. We order appetizers to share for the table so I can attest to how delicious the meatballs, antipasti board, toasted raviloi and arancini are. I had the veal saltimbocca and it was tasty. Enjoyed our first time here. Have been to the Newton location also. Very consistent. Both locations have a warm, hospitable feel with open kitchens and a nice casual ambiance. They were very busy, and don't accept reservations for parties less than 6, but the hostesses handle the crowd pleasantly and we were seated pretty much on time. Had toasted ravioli starter. Very tasty, sent out at the right temperature with the cheese melting when we cut into it and marinara sauce on the side. Scallops Lemoncello entrée which included a medley of chopped vegetables over white rice in a sauce somewhat sweet with a little tangy spice to it. It was very flavorful. The prices were an excellent value. I would expect to pay more for this quality food and venue. It was an overall good experience, and we'll go back! read more

We are frequent patrons of Fiorella's in Newtonville and recently met friends at the new Concord location. We are happy to report that our experience was just as great as the original location. The food is first and foremost exactly the same. We had the toasted ravioli, arancini and goat cheese and walnut salad to start. For dinner we had seafood fettuccine, chicken Parmesan and shrimp scampi. Everything was excellent. What I noticed more than anything were the incredibly friendly staff and other guests. We brought our 7 week old son and everyone was so inviting and friendly. The service was excellent, our drinks never went dry and when we were ready to leave our check came quickly. I would have been thoroughly disappointed if the Concord location wasn't up to par, but thankfully it was just as incredible as the original. read more

Sorry to say I won't bother coming back. Tried it twice, food is just ok. Pizza not worth it. Wine list short- one rose; was average tasting. Wine glass had white/water stains on it, I hope from the dishwasher. Plates aren't warmed. Staff stone faced. Hair in salad 1st visit, hair in pasta 2nd visit. Fiorella's is such a welcome addition to Concord - relaxed dining that hits the sweet spot between elegant and cozy. The food is delicious, the prices are reasonable, and the service is attentive without pretension. The homemade fusilli bolognese is my new go-to, and their salads are fresh and flavorful (I had the baby kale & apple, my wife had the roasted beet, both amazing). My second visit, dinner, this time. Concord needs a good, casual restaurant with great food. I'm still on the fence. The breadsticks with marinara are oily, the sauce is great. Goat cheese salad was perfect. My scallops lemoncello on risotto was disappointing. It would be better with just lemon, the lemoncello is just too heavy and it makes all the veggies too heavy and sweet. The hot pepper flakes were a bit too much. When I commented to the server, she said they won't change it because the manager likes it. My husband's baked haddock was fine, nothing special. Service and new decor was terrific. It was packed for an early dinner on a Tuesday. I've got another promo coupon to use. We will see if the third time is the charm. Had lunch there last week and everyone was very happy. My parents went the next day and loved it! So what did we have? Well, the ladies group had a lot of salad and Italian Wedding soup. My salad was the least great - a chopped italian with too much meant and cheese not enough salad. Everyone else liked their salad. Soup was very good. Fried Ravioli was delicious although we didn't finish it - just too much food I guess. My mother had the meatball appetizer as a meal (she weighs under !00 pounds and eats very little) and LOVED them. Took some home. My Dad went all in on the veal parmesan and said it was delicious. I saw this restaurant featured on Phantom Gourmet and decided to travel the 40min from N.H arrived on Sat. March 2nd around 5pm ( reservation can only be made for groups of 6 or more ) plenty of free parking in the rear of the building. ( we were also given a Phantom gift card and this restaurant accepts them ) We were first served some flat bread strips with hot Marinara sauce , very tasty. My wife and I ordered 2 appetizers, calamari and the arancini . I have never had Arancini and it was good, different and interesting. The Calamari was good. I would order these again, my wife doesn't eat calamari and wasn't keen on the Arancini. She ordered the Lasagna( huge portion, really enough for 2 ) and I ordered the Lemon Chicken with olives and artichokes ( not much artichoke )Both were very good and again would order on another visit. The travel was worth the experience, nice atmosphere, small waiting area the prices are very reasonable, service was good, some waiting for check as they were very busy but not a problem or long wait. read more

I'm a big fan of the original Fiorella's in Newton, so looked forward to trying their outpost in Concord. Had lunch with a group of five on a January Saturday at noon. Food is fine. Service is fine. Turn down the blaring Frank Sinatra music. I get it that you're an Italian restaurant. Seriously. If I have to shout to speak to people at my table (a 4-top with a chair added at the end for 5th person - not a huge table), I'm not coming back. I asked our server to turn down the music. No change. The restaurant was busy, and didn't require a crazy loud soundtrack. So, your loss Fiorella's Concord. I won't suggest your place to anyone, and, if it's suggested by anyone to me, I'll recommend we choose another restaurant. read more

I've been in a few times and have great food and service. I'm on a low carb diet and the chef was able to adjust the scallop risotto entree for me and it was delicious. Another time I made a mistake with an online order and Ralph the manager couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. He assured me my order was being expedited and provided me with a snack while I waited. He checked in with me several times and provided excellent customer service. Highly recommend! read more

Didn't live up to the hype. I was very excited to try Fiorella's I've seen them featured on phantom gourmet and have heard very good things via word of mouth. However our lunch was lack luster. As soon as we walked in, the front end host was not very welcoming/ didn't seem too personable, however he did seem more friendly on the way out. Our waitress was friendly enough. We had the complimentary breadsticks and marinara which was pretty good. I ordered the arancini for my meal and was disappointed with the lack of flavor. It was just one huge ball of bland steamed rice with a mozzarella center. My mother had ordered the chicken broccoli Alfredo, again just ok, not super flavorful. I've definitely had better. I ordered my son a side of fresh made pasta with marinara, again I was surprised at how mediocre the fresh pasta was but overall his meal was the best of the three. The prices were pretty reasonable. It wasn't bad by any means, just didn't live up to my expectations. read more
