Delicious. Stopped here for lunch after visiting Walden Pond. Cute restaurant with excellent fare. The fried cauliflower was so light and airy, the eggplant delicious and they also could make the flatbread gluten free (yay!!!) which tasted amazing. My son also had the braised beef ragù pasta which he devoured. Service was very friendly and attentive. Grazie!

Fiorella's is the warmth you are looking for with some of the best classic Italian cuisine served in historic surroundings. We tried an array of options like beautifully fresh burrata, fig and bacon flatbread, crisp and warm arancini, and goat cheese and pine nut salad. All this served up with a smile that ended up on our faces as we finished. The best part was the atmosphere of friends and family enjoying each others in what was a familiar and comfortable place for both regular and celebratory gatherings. This made for a great evening.

Love this local restaurant in main Concord. The food is tasty and the menu loaded with extensive options. The service is great too. All the pasta dishes are delicious and I particularly love the goat cheese and walnut salad. Save room for dessert if you dare. Hello peanut butter pie! Enjoy

Shot in the Dark, an Americano with some serious flavor and kick!!

Well this was our first time to Concord and with all the great reviews and the fact is was only a couple blocks from where we had been we thought we would give it a try. At first we thought it was hard to find until it wasn't. You know it's going to be epic when my wife opens the menu and immediately sees what she wants for dinner in two seconds. Our server was Erin and very personable and friendly. She had a thorough knowledge of the menu and several great suggestions as well. We enjoyed a Shot in the Dark and a glass of Sauvignon Blanc, Arancini, Fig & Bacon Flatbread and the Braised Beef Ragu. While we were seated between two loud large parties we did enjoy time together. The insides reminded me of a cross of an old study and a church.

Fiorella's is an upscale Italian restaurant in Concord. Having lost both local Italian restaurants in West Concord, Vincenzo's (albeit many years ago), and Papa Razzi, it was a great find. It's not the biggest space and some tables are close together, but we were lucky to have a corner booth to ourselves which was perfect. Our server Jackie was great and very informative. We started with a flavorful Italian wedding soup with meatballs in it, and the bread was great, some pieces cheesy and a little tub of marinara sauce too. My entrée was fantastic, with many baby clams over linguini in a delicious garlic wine sauce. The amount of clams was impressive, and the portions are great. I had a taste of the Garganelli Bolognese which was nice and rich. There's a great birthday club you can join that allows a free entrée for your birthday, so that's something to keep in mind! The menu had lots of seafood options, so if you like Italian seafood then make sure to visit.

I went to Fiorella's with a loved one for my birthday. It was a lovely time. I give Fiorella's 5 stars because there was every effort to make sure that we had a great experience. I ordered the Garganelli Bolognese which had really rich, umami flavours and was delicious. I did order more bolognese for my dish because I love a meaty sauce. My only criticism is because the garganelli is handmade it does have the potential to taste doughy if it's cooked too long which happened for me but I didn't mind it because I really enjoyed the flavours so much. I would probably swap the pasta for another kind next time. I did try the Italian wedding soup which was great and was balanced in its flavours. The service was efficient and wonderful. Our order was out quite fast and the server was really kind and helpful. This location of Fiorella's is narrow and tables are pretty close to one another, but you can still feel like you're having a classy and comforting dining experience depending where you are seated in the restaurant. Fiorella's currently has a birthday club where you can get a free entree on your birthday which is a wonderful thing as a lot of food establishments are offering less for people's birthdays, or even those who have membership programs. I really appreciate this personal touch from Fiorella's to make sure a special moment is acknowledged through the birthday club. I would definitely go back and am also really interested in trying the other locations as well!

Their fried ravioli is absolutely amazing! The other food is nice but isn't overly special. The flatbreads are great too!

It is larger than the Newton spot and a bigger bar area, more extensive menu with many pasta dishes, appetizers. The pizza is my preference . I ordered the Dante pizza and very good meatballs slices on the pizza . The beer selections on draft are all good. I think the pizza crust was better on the Newton pizza... or a perceived perception? But maybe because I really enjoyed the Newton pizza which was the L'oscar which was grilled onions, sausage, mascarpone , olive oil, mushrooms, mozzarella. Maybe the Newton water vs. Sudbury water in the dough theory or maybe I am just being an over anal analyst of the dough? Either case both locations have great pizza. I would test the water at both locations and see affects on the dough and which water had better preferred pizza dough qualities ? Maybe then filter the water or Bri g a 5 gallon jug of the better water for the dough ? Maybe the dirty Boston water or New York water in Bew York bagels theory? Or maybe who cares ? On a different note; The oven baked wings I had in Newton were very good and meaty with the grilled onions ... I do have 1/2 pie to save for next day lunch as their pizza reheats well. I like both locations and Sudbury easier parking .

I usually sit at the bar, which is very cozy and comfortable, order up a nice Jack's Abbey House Lager, and a build-your-own pizza. Their pizzas are great. They're coal fired and although they always have some char (by design) the crust still has a nice chew to it. They seem to have really perfected the dough recipe. Everyone who works here is super friendly, and the vibe is relaxed. I love coming to Max and Leo's whenever I get the chance!

Red Apple Farm has always had a number of food options for those of us who need a hearty meal after…read morethe fun of apple picking. I was delighted to discover that their food options have expanded with two food trucks outside the Brew Barn -- one being TimberFire. The enticing waft of wood smoke from the brick pizza oven in the back -- mounted on a cart for transportation! -- immediately piqued my interest. But it was the chalkboard sign announcing that gluten free and vegan options were available that made me jump in line (and jump for joy). That magical combo of GF crust and dairy free cheese is still not that common, and it's even harder to find ones that taste good. Since I have a gluten sensitivity and am allergic to many forms of dairy, I was intrigued to try. The Tall Man and I each ordered one of the specials, The Fungus Among Us, which features mushrooms (of course), caramelized onions, and garlic cream sauce. He got the full gluten and dairy experience (aka refused to share in my limitations), while I got mine on GF crust and vegan cheese. In lieu of the sauce and their other alternatives (I also can't eat much tomato, and their pesto has parmesan), I suggested straight up olive oil to stick it all together. I was already holding up the line with my multiple questions, but they were very friendly and were happy to answer while busily stretching dough and checking on pizzas in the oven. 20 minutes later, we picked up our pies plus one for friends. (Unlike the Brew Barn, which will text you when your food is done, TimberFire calls out names so you have to stick close by.) Verdict? Delicious, especially straight from the oven on a chilly fall day! They used a premade GF crust, but one that had a pretty good crispy texture when fresh. Vegan cheese was all melty and creamy, so I didn't miss the sauce at all. The mushrooms were fantastic and generous. The Tall Man really liked his version of the pizza, reporting the sauce to be clutch. Our friends' Fresh to Death (aka margarita) pizza was pretty good, maybe not as wow-ing but satisfying both adults and children. I was quite happy with my pizza's flavor, but wish it were larger for the price ($18 per pie), with the GF one being smaller (10"?) than the hand stretched counterparts. They're closer in size to a medium pizza elsewhere. The Tall Man easily finished his whole pie in one go, while I ate half and saved the rest for leftovers. So expect a pricier lunch for 1-2 people per pie, or mix and match with other food options if you plan to share. Thank you for delivering a tasty GF DF experience!

The restaurant itself is still very nice - big bar at which I ate (single) and a separate dining room. Given my dissatisfaction with the former cuisine I did not have high expectations this time. But I believe this time may work out better for them. There are few decent Italian restaurants in the area, whereas there is heavy competition in good Mexican food. My daughter and her husband have gotten takeout and dined in once and warned me it might be inconsistent. We shall see. I believe they have potential. The wines are not clearly explained. Just "light" or "not so light". Cute but uninformative. Wine prices by the glass are on the high side. I tried one that was supposed to be similar to a Pinot noir. It was terribly bitter. It was then replaced with a Barbera. Much better. I wanted to graze so avoided large plates. Ordered the meatballs appetizer and the eggplant ricotta crepe. This place also serves pizza (which are basically flatbreads so don't expect decadent crust) so the meatballs were the standard pizza-style rubber balls. Sauce was flavorful but they were too chewy. The eggplant crepes- which I can only describe as "quesadilla-like" were wonderful. Very light but full of flavor (I asked to hold the truffle oil, which can overpower). I'd order those again, with a bit less pesto on top as there is plenty of basil inside. It's a small app but nice. That dish is a winner. Service was experienced and quite knowledgeable. When I commented on the meatball texture they did acknowledge- "Well yeah we know that." On a Friday night they were pretty quiet. I hope they make it. I will come back when I'm visiting the daughter again and try a couple of other dishes.

The cocktails (Pom Pom and Violette Smash) were delightfully refreshing and the red wine was, in deed, "Really Nice." We started with 2 appetizers: the mushroom bruschetta which was delicious and just crispy enough, and the wood-roasted meatballs which were awesome! (and to be honest we're typically pretty picky about our meatballs!) I had the chicken parm, which was absolute perfection (not surprising given their other sister business Nan's is known for their fried chicken)! My mom had the Bolognese with chorizo, which she thought was a little spicy for her taste, but still delightful. My dad had the Slow Cooked Pork Sugo, which I think is his new favorite Italian dish ever! Also, there was still plenty left to take home to continue enjoying for leftovers the next day! By the way, the service is excellent, and the ambiance is, of course, incredible (we even decided to host my sister's bridal shower in the upstairs space earlier this year - If you're interested, see the Private Events section of Sobre Mesa's website!) I highly recommend stopping in or making a reservation for your next dinner out or ordering takeout! We will definitely be back again soon!
