I came here with my husband on an anniversary date night. Great atmosphere, plenty of street parking and a parking lot right off the restaurant. Located on a very cute street with cute shops. The food was great and very reasonably priced. The reason I am not giving it 5 stars is because they don't take reservations for less than a party of 6, they just said come right in on the phone. Well we got there at 7pm in a Tuesday and we were told a 35 minute wait. I think when restaurants don't have reservations that should mean that they're never busy enough to need reservations. A 35 minute wait is a waste of everyone's time especially on a Tuesday. While we were waiting, we watched 3 groups leave the restaurant when they were told 35 minute wait, and one group was even told a 45 minute wait. That's definitely one thing I would change for a restaurant that I really liked. read more

Nice to have a solid Italian place with homemade pasta and classic doses nearby. The prices were reasonable, especially for concord. The service was very professional and friendly, food came quick. The drinks were big and well made, got a nice cosmo that left me buzzed. Had baked haddock which was not super flavorful, but the sides of veggies were fresh and delicious. Terrible food! We had takeout from this place. The arancini was half cooked on the inside and under-seasoned. Half of the toasted raviolis were empty. The eggplant parmigiana lacked flavor. The lemon chicken was greasy and tasted a little stale. We had to toss out half of the food. The disappointing part is that we have been to Fiorella's in Newton a few times before and although the food was never extraordinary, it was reliable and pretty decent. I had the worst experience I have ever had at a restaurant here. The customer service was horrible. There was not the correct amount of silverware at the table when my party sat down. All the food took extremely long to come out (more then a hour for main dishes) and our server did not seem to care. From my perspective this restaurant is run very unprofessionally. Food was just ok - mediocre at best. What made this one star was the attitude of the Management. I have literally never been spoken to so rudely before in my life than I was by the blonde hostess/manager. She greeted us with an attitude when we walked in and it started there when. She "couldn't seat an incomplete party". I'm not even slightly joking when I say she was extremely rude, surly and a B word. It continued when she came to our table later in the evening. I'm not going to bore with the details but this woman was just wretched in the way that she treated the entire table. Rude, condescending and disrespectful. He attitude and behavior was completely out of line and she should not be in the service industry in any way, shape or form. I have eaten here twice once with takeout which was ok but my flatbread was a little soggy and they forgot my extra dressing I didn't feel like going back because of the messed up order. The second time my wife and I dined in I loved my calamari appetizer, my wife did not like her humongous portion of lasagna she said it didn't have any flavor. I fixed it up once we got home, because I am a chef. But she loves their goat cheese and walnut salad, this is the main reason she comes to this restaurant. As far as my meal I had the linguine and meatball it wasn't anything special to write home about. I do like the cheesy bread bites they give as a snack before the food starts to come out. read more

I was here a couple nights ago and had their chicken pasta, which came with chicken, Italian sausage, and broccoli, all drizzled with garlic-wine reduction sauce and pesto. Overall the pasta was decent, but the calamari appetizer was delicious and hot. Their marinara sauce tastes very fresh and definitely worth a try. Sadly this experience is a three star for me, because I think that the food isn't worth the price points they charge ($20 for the pasta and $10 for calamari). Absolutely amazing place for so many place!!! Super accommodating to food allergies and special diets. I recently had to start following a low FODMAP diet due to medical reasons. It is extremely difficult to find a restaurant who can slightly accommodate me but this place went above and beyond. I stumbled across this place when looking up "gluten free restaurants in Concord" and ending up getting so much more out of it. They made me a special salad that fit the low FODMAP diet and didn't charge extra. They adapted the chicken broccoli Alfredo to not have any garlic or onion (part of the diet). They seasoned my chicken with salt, pepper, and oil and used gluten free pasta. Something to keep in mind is that I was super picky before I ever had to go on this diet when it came to eating Alfredo even though it's one of my favorite meals but when I tell you this was one of the best Alfredos I've ever had, it was so good. I can't even begin to imagine how good it would be with all the ingredients in it. For any fellow low fodmappers eating here, I took two lactaid pills when my meal came to make sure my stomach wouldn't get upset. My boyfriend said the complimentary bread they serve was amazing and the sauce was amazing, so good he wants to buy a bottle next time we go! He got the Fusilli Bolognese and he said it was the second best he's ever got from a restaurant in the United States (he said nothing could top Italy) but he loved how the pasta was fusilli how it looked homemade! The Antipasta which was meatballs he said were extremely good too. Overall, this restaurant is a must try! We've been here three times (lunch and dinner) since it opened. Thoughts so far... Great service and ambiance (although quite loud) Good, not great, food Kid friendly, although they don't have a kids menu. Their flatbread pizzas are under $10 and a great kids option Most of the menu items seem just a bit too highly priced (i.e. 10-15% higher than they should be) Wine list is lacking anything bold Salads are small We'll return but Trail's End still gets the edge for reasonably priced, Woods Hole for best food, 80 Thoreau for best drinks, Sorrento/New London for best pizza, Haute Coffee for best coffee... Oh, and there's also Comella's, Papa Razzi, Helen's, Main St Cafe, Sushi House and Colonial. Concord's slowly turning into a restaurant destination and it will be interesting to see how the top restaurants complete. read more

Let me start by saying no one wants this place to succeed more than I do. I live 100 yards away and had to wait forever for the previous restaurant, Bondir, to go out of business so we could finally get a good neighborhood restaurant. No sooner had I found out this place had finally opened than I convinced my wife to go. We both had a cocktail to start (Margarita) and she ordered a shrimp scampi with linguini and I a fussilli with meat sauce. We ordered the Margaritas with Patron tequila, straight up and well chilled. The Margaritas were prepared right away and left to stand by the bar getting warm with no one to send them out. Our waiter, Gil, was nowhere to be found. By the time we finally got them they were almost room temperature, and frankly were terrible either way. Not sure what kind of mix was used but they had an off-putting artificial flavor. My wife and I told ourselves we shouldn't expect a good margarita in an Italian restaurant (though frankly I don't see why not). So instead we just waited for our pastas. Unfortunately they were really, really bad. The scampi in the linguini was properly cooked, though the pasta well overdone. The meat sauce in the fussilli was truly terrible. I mean god-awful. It tasted exactly like a recently opened can of store bought meat sauce. There was no flavor of any kind, and no seasoning. I slogged my way through the dish knowing full well it would have taken me 15 minutes to cook a far superior version at home. Just really disappointed. I want this restaurant to succeed so badly that I am willing to chalk this up to issues related to opening. Meanwhile I would warmly encourage the Chef to perhaps consider tasting some of the dishes before they leave his or her kitchen... read more

My wife and I checked out Fiorella's last night. It's nice to have another dinner option in Concord center. Our join review is "meh". Sound Level: It's really loud. I had a very hard time hearing my wife across the table. I considered sitting beside her. Service: Not bad. My only grip was my salad came out after my wife finished hers. Food: our calamari was great, salads great, my "frutti de mare" was mediocre. It's basically spaghetti with seafood tossed in. The garlic toast was stale. For $29 I was hoping for more but still it wasn't too bad. All in all, we probably won't be frequent guests. Papa Razzi has better ambiance and about the same prices, Main Street Cafe, Trail's End are better quality for about the same price so there's really no differentiator in my opinion. read more

The food is good but we've been twice and both time we got bad service. The first time the waitress was rude and seemed annoyed that we came in on a slow night (I guess she didn't want to make money). Second time the waitress forgot we ordered a bottle of wine, she never checked in so when we got our food we asked to cancel the bottle and order a couple glasses. She brought back a wine by the glass menu but didn't take our order for a long time and I was finished with my food when my glass of wine finally arrived. Once again she never checked in to see how everything was. She also up-charged us on fresh pasta without mentioning the up-charge. We made her take it off. I'm not sure if we'll be back. read more

Was last minute choice after concert across the street. No time to ck reviews first. Rather inefficient. Sat at 2 person table next to a couple at a 4 person table, right near front door. So watched as 2 people were allowed to take up 4 seats while next few groups of 2 are told will be a long wait. This is while watching 3 women at the front doing nothing for almost 15 minutes while waitresses are madly trying to keep up - so all in all hugely inefficient. Order one wine and got charged for different wine that cost more. When pointing this out to what we originally thought was really sweet waitress she said she poured the wrong one and it's only a little bit more. WRONG response. Only one correct response: "I'm sorry. I will fix that for you right away." So we should pay more cause SHE poured the wrong one? Seriously? I don't care whether it's a lot dif or a little, you don't knowingly overcharge the customer. Period. Food - eh at best. Salty, salty, salty. I saw most other people got unhealthy, super fattening food - bread, pasta, cheese, more bread, itsy bitsy pieces of protein drowning in super cheesy pasta. Not thrilling. Like stories I've heard about Olive Garden - quantity, not quality. We had broiled fish drowning in super salty, creamy sauce, super hot roasted potatoes (too many of them) with a little smidgen of now cold broccoli. Should be served with a defibrillator. We order broiled fish with sides of potato and veg in the high $20's lots of places and get much better than this. And not exactly the waitress's fault, but service very slow. I think the 3 ladies at the front could have chipped in and helped here and there. Also had soup that was also quite salty. read more

My wife found Fiorella's online, and it sounded good for a date night. I thought it would be nice, but was pleasantly surprised it was even better than expected. We had no reservation, showed up on a Friday night around 6. They took our name and my cellphone number, we had a nice stroll around downtown Concord for about 10 minutes when my phone rang, seats were ready. The servers were very friendly and fun, and very attentive....also I saw a couple of them joking around and having fun when they thought nobody was watching, a good sign that they enjoyed their job. The food was excellent. We had calamari as an appetizer which was delicious, for an entre - I like gnocchi's, but rarely get them because most Italian places just serve a plate of gnocchi's by themselves but Fiorella's had Chicken Gnocchi Fra Diablo, I am not big into spicy food, but this was just spicy enough. My wife got something with shrimp in it, that she enjoyed. We each got a dessert that was delicious and the drinks also were very good. Looking forward to going back soon read more

Delicious food. Simple, classic Italian dishes, served in a fun, rustic setting. Bartender Brigette's cocktail creations are amazing! Love the calamari - fantastic, crunchy, never rubbery. We always order a bit of extra stuff to bring home. Even though we cook Italian food a lot at our house, we still enjoy going to Fiorella's for their take on our favs. And their sauce is awesome. We make our own, but again, enjoy theirs, too! The other day we ordered eggplant parm and lemon chicken, and caesar salad, and of course, calamari. All delicious. Service was, as always, excellent. Prices remain reasonable. Highly recommend. (For those not from the area, Concord and Concord Center are charming and filled with history.
