Christmas Eve dinner was a prix fixe menu with 8 choices. I ordered Osso Buco with mushroom risotto and my wife order Chicken Parmesan. The appetizer was meatballs with risotto. We had read that the pasta was handmade, but this serving was definitely a packaged pasta and not of a high quality at all. The risotto with the osso buco was ruined and was a sloppy slurry; a real amorphous mess. The osso buco could have been braised a bit longer and it needed a more complex seasoning and Demi glacé. Missed the mark for me. My bar for this dish is set real high as I have had it in France and know how good it can be. Wine prices are set too high and I resent the ridiculous mark up. Why?? I'll cut them some slack about service because the place was packed. The waiter was very polite but they needed more staff. Food came out slow, again, they were busy but with prix fixe I would think they would have been more prepared and productive. Flower Mound is a tough market for restauranteurs, and many have vaporized for producing ordinary product. This location has already cycled two failures. My advice to Fiori is to be very careful. Make your own pasta: bronze cut, premium pasta rustica made to order, not Olive Garden cheapo stuff. Buy prime cuts and free range birds. Otherwise this place will eventually become another nail salon. read more

Worst service in flower mound . It took an hour to get our food then found out that the Chilean sea bass that I ordered are ice cold inside. Sent it back to the kitchen and when the sea bass finally arrived, more than half the fish is gone....all that is left on the plate are 2 tiny pieces of fish and bunch of potatoes...this is such a joke and insult to the customer read more

Had dinner here on 1/31/2020. Service was great by payton!! She seated us in a private room with super cute decorations. The atmosphere is extremely nice and tHe decorations are beautiful. We had lasagna, a salmon dish with potatoes, the vegetable ravioli, and my dish (totally forgot WhT it was called) but it waS a creamy pasta dish with some sort of Italian sausage. The salmon was extremely delicious with capers on top. My dish was cooked perfectly and I it wasn't overwhelming on fat. Overall extremely satisfied with our food and service! We had desserts and it was really good ass well! Ask for Payton *update* Went on 2/14/2020 for vday dinner. They had a set menu with NO warning. Left because they refused to accommodate what we wanted. There wasn't even a Caesar salad or any classic pastas (spaghetti/meatballs, carbonara, fettuccine Alfredo). Asked some dude about it and he didn't even bother coming to our table and to tell us no, told the waitress and she told us. There were no vegan options on the limited menus, completely overpriced. We visited Fiori for the first time on Friday evening, December 6th and it was extremely busy. The hostess "Kennedy" was amazing, very friendly and accommodating especially since we did not have a reservation. My husband and I sat at the bar for dinner. We had the Pomodoro Caprese, which is always good. My husband ordered the Chicken Genovese and I had the Chicken Piccata. Both dishes were wonderful, full of flavor and perfect on all levels. Also, the Italian Margarita was really good. Glad we made the decision to visit Fiori as we like to support locally. Based on the crowd, food and ambience, I wish them success. My wife and I have eaten at Fiori many times as it is consistently good. We have gone their both as a couple and with guests. The ambiance is generally good and the service is better. They don't mind going the extra mile such as making a lunch item available at dinner time. The veal is good as well as the eggplant. read more

Without a doubt, this is the most authentic Italian cuisine you'll find in the greater Flower Mound area. The menu is slightly limited, but what they make is very, very good. Apparently their uncle ran a café in Brooklyn, NY, and the authenticity rubbed off on this generation. I know quality Italian food, and this as close as you will get in Texas! We have been there three times so far, twice for dinner and once for lunch. I know you will be pleased, so give it a try! I will encourage ownership to work on the noise levels. Went there on a Saturday night, and it's kind of tough to have a civil conversation based on the noise levels. Maybe install some carpet or put up a half wall in between the dining rooms. But this issue needs to be addressed for your long-term success. I know you will do well! read more

Staff was very friendly. The menu is not large, but it is a matter of quality over quantity. And I can assure you, this is quality. I honestly do not know where to start other than everything was wonderful. Fresh, hot bread, I strongly recommend the fried risotto, the cream sauce is out of this world. I live nearby and had been curious since they opened. I stopped by for a snack and a drink and I'll say, not worth it. The overarching theme was bland. My cocktail was strong but bland, the bruschetta was enormous, but bland. I wouldn't really call it bruschetta. It was large slices of French bread, hardly toasted, with flavorless toppings. And it took nearly 30 min to get one order of bruschetta--when the restaurant had 2 tables and me at the bar. Pretty sure there was more staff on the floor than customers, but they couldn't get an order of bruschetta in a reasonable amount of time. And even then, it only came after I reminded them twice. Even the whipped ricotta with chili honey bruschetta was bland. There was a lingering hint of heat, but no flavor while I was eating it. The only thing that had flavor was the spicy jam on the goat cheese-apples-spicy-jam bruschetta. The balance was off. Huge slices of raw apple, large amounts of spicy jam, a couple crumbles of goat cheese. So if you're looking for strong drinks and large servings, but little flavor, then check it out. Keep in mind I haven't tried the homemade pasta so maybe I missed the main attraction Staff was fine. One girl cut fruit right in front of me, 4 feet from my face, for like 10 min without looking up or speaking to me. But if you're a chatty regular, they're allllllll over it. read more

Everything about our Fiori experience was absolutely incredible! While enjoying the GORGEOUS photogenic space, we drank delicious specialty cocktails, dined on delectable Italian food, and were blown away by the staffs' knowledge and attention to detail! They even offer an allergen/gluten free menu!!! So rare for Italian restaurants, and trust me when I say every GF bite was delicious. If I could give zero stars for food & service, I would. We had a reservation for 7. The restaurant was maybe half full and still our table wasn't ready. After an hour plus, we still didn't have our cocktails and had just gotten our subpar appetizers. The bruschetta was burned bread with cold toppings, and the calamari was not hot at all. We had the pleasure of eating at Fiori the very first night it opened, and again to tonight. Both times we loved the whole experience. Good service and great food. The bread is excellent - especially the flatter of the two types they bring out. Fresh, slightly crispy, salted just right. The meals we've had so far are are chicken Genovese, chicken parmigiana, spaghetti with spicy sauce, and fettuccini Alfredo. Each has been superb. Aa mentioned by a previous reviewer, it is a huge challenge for new restaurants like this to get established in our suburb or any other suburb. Look past the petty complaints of the 1-star reviews. Tried this place for the first time today. Was very curious given the mixed reviews. Let me just say first and foremost the service was great, atmosphere was great as well. It's not super quiet but not loud like a lot of places if Flower Mound. You can actually carry on a conversation. This is a very nice comfortable place. I ordered the caesar salad and the Salmon Genovese , my wife had the chicken Parmesan. We both loved our meals. The salmon was cooked perfectly and the flavors were awesome. Wife loved the Chicken Parm. For Flower Mound this place is awesome. I know a lot of snobs have said not so much but hey let's put it in perspective. This is pretty damn good for what we have here! I wish I could comment on the food, or the drinks, or the price. Unfortunately, after sitting at our table for over 15 minutes, we were never served. There were only two other tables when we walked in, and a table that was sat about 10 minutes after us was served almost immediately. We looked around for a few minutes, but the staff was nowhere to be found. As we walked out, the hostess re-appeared and wished us a good day, oblivious to the fact she just sat us , and we obviously didn't eat. This place is so nice inside. It is decorated very nicely. The food was just so so. I wanted to love it but I didn't. The appetizers and dessert were good. I had the chicken piccata and it was just so so. It came with a side of potatoes which seemed odd for an Italian restaurant. The red sauce on the spaghetti wasn't great either. We have been here many times since they opened. Food has always been great and service is usually good. Service last night was definitely not up to their usual standards. We sat for 15 minutes with one even acknowledging us. I had to go ask the hostess to send someone over. Our white wine was served room temp with no chiller for the bottle. We received one wrong order, which they just picked up from the table and took to another one, after our fork was on the edge of the plate. We had to run down our server for our check. The whipped ricotta with honey is a delicate blend of flavors that's a must have. We had a lemony Chicken Piccata and homemade ravioli with sausage and marscapone that's were perfect. Besides being one of the best Italian restaurants in the area, I also love the staff at Fiori. I had a very different situation yesterday where I lost internet but had to attend a very important video call with no disturbance. I drove to starbucks but they are very busy so that didnt really work out. I only have 15mins left, didnt know what to do ..thats when I remembered Fiori where we celebrated my Husband's 40th birthday party in a cute little separate room there at Fioris. I called them to find out if it is even possible for me to use their room for about an hour. With no questions asked, they obliged my request and graciously set the room for me without any music and shared their wifi password. I just ordered a sprite and they were totally fine with that. I finished my call with no interruptions . I couldnt thank the staff enough. Thank you Fiori! Your staff is the best!! You are going to be my forever Italian go to place. read more

We were staying at the Hilton nearby for a little "staycation" for our anniversary and were looking for somewhere nice to try- we had been at the pool so we rushed to get ready and get there. We got there 30 minutes before closing which I hate doing so much- we asked if it was too late to dine-in- the hostess told us "no! Come on in" very nice and sat us down right away. Knowing we were running kind of late we looked online at the menu, but once we got there it was different- it seems like it might change seasonally... no matter, my husband and I asked our server what he recommended and OMG so good! He also recommended some cocktails, also great! Their balsamic dipping oil was sweeter than I've had but I wish I had asked for some to-go because it was so good with the bread they serve. We got back home and I mentioned that I wished we had somewhere "around us" that was as good- to which my husband reminded me, we were only 10 minutes away from the hotel lol.
