    Adult Fish & Chicken
    Mia H.

The food and service were both terrible. My fiance recommended this restaurant, because before covid, the food was decent. Not any more. He ordered the fish boil, and I had the fish boil with chicken. The fish was overcooked (dry) and tasteless. The chicken breast was completely dried out without any taste. People in other reviews raved about the buttery soft onions - not cooked enough. The included dessert - I had the cherry square, he the apple - also not very good. The only thing I can recomment was the cole slaw and our cocktails. Unfortunately, even though we sat at the bar, the service was super slow. We will not be back.

They have so much to offer to community! A pure definition of a melting pot! Cookie classes, Charcuterie classes, sour dough classes, mosaic classes, hatwork shops l, murder myster dinners and more! Events usually go on in the winter time (November thru clearly May , but it is totally understandable due to the beautiful wisconsin summers! A must try is their pretzel crusted cheese curds! A true Wisconsin Gem if i do say so myself! Italian beef and cheese. The poutine? Nailed it! Janelle is a top notch bartender and bound to keep the conversation flowing just like the beverages! Their Facebook page has all their events listed in a detailed lay out, so you don't have to go searching! Go give them a follow, yesterday! * They just released a new steal sandwich.... a must try along eith their fish boil!

Italian beef with cheese and sweet peppers. So good.

If you're looking for the best Italian beef in the area, look no further. Everything at Fire Pitt is excellent but here are some of my favorites: - the Italian beef with mozzarella cheese and hot and sweet peppers. This is a huge broiled sandwich loaded with meat and cheese. Can easily serve two. - French onion soup is flavorful and smothered in cheese. - fish boil plus chicken is another go to. The chicken falls off the bone and the fish is so flavorful. If you haven't tried their fish boil this is a must! - burgers! Their burgers are huge and they have all sorts of great toppings. - pizza! The sauce is so flavorful and crust is delicious. This is one of my husbands favorite pizzas. - waffle fries with pulled pork appetizers - these have a different name on the menu but they are delicious! Fire Pitt has a kind and caring owner that is constantly trying new events and enhancing their menu! Love to see Fire Pitt doing well and love to eat their delicious food even more.

Great Dinner one plate! COD was meaty, all you wanted! Our server, Jennifer J. Friendly and attentive! Priced just right!

Since I could not do chicken tacos, I got this spicy giardinara pizza. Pretty good!

This is a cool spot, very welcoming and down to earth. We came in the beginning of the week, and turns out there is line dancing weekly. It was fun to watch, as they do sort of lesson at first and people were really dressed up for it. The ambiance is not fancy, very chill and down home feel. I was expecting the food to be like total, tropical bar food. It was better than that, so that was neat. The made a pretty decent cocktail as well, I'd be happy to come back for another drink! If I had one criticism, I think it was silly I wasn't able to have chicken taco (she was very clear that I could not do that). It was confusing, as they have chicken in other dishes. Flexible kitchen is appealing to me, so sadly, that's my only negative remark. On the other side of the restaurant is an ice cream shop called the icebox. My son couldn't stop talking about his blue moon, and so we revisited today. The owner was so friendly, and made me like this place so much more. You can tell there's lots of love here, and that's important. He also let me know they have all kind of fun events other than line dancing, like kids sip and paint, and all sorts of other fun things. Love it, will definitely return.

I had a birthday party there this weekend. I had 99% turn out. What I thought was going to be 50 or 60 ended up being 130. The staff was beyond amazing at navigating the crowd. The owner was so accommodating. Food was great. Thank you for a wonderful night! Dj Dan was amazing!

We have never been disappointed. The owner is so friendly and hardworking. Yes, the pace is a little slower during busy periods but the coffee is always warm and refills are abundant. For the amount of food you get, the prices are hands down the best in town. If you want trendy- maybe not the ideal spot for you, but if you want to feel like you're stopping at your mom's or grandmas house for good home cooking, this is the place.

As many have noted, the waitress, who I believe is a co-owner, is charmless. There is no warmth and you will no doubt be treated like an unpleasant intrusion as you are sullenly indicated a table and served. The menu is standard old-school cafe fare and I think one of the few appeals of this place is that breakfast is served all day which is a rarity in Antioch. They boast a sign that says "voted best hamburgers" but it doesn't state by whom: I assume it is a award they have given themselves and to be fair, the burgers are hand-formed and juicy. The burger and patty melt we ate was flavorful and I have to give them credit for it. They are also the cheapest place in town to eat which I think accounts for the loyal regulars that keep this place going because it ain't the ambiance or charm. Lowered expectations will be rewarded but under NO circumstances visit the bathrooms.

Great food, but Not Sure For a Quick Lunch We were driving…read moredown 173 the other day, saw their sign and tried them out for lunch. You enter into a fairly large dining room with many tables. To the left is a large bar. There was one other couple and two groups of 6-8 seniors having lunch. We later saw that the seniors were bridge players and started playing cards after lunch. Only one server/hostess was working and she worked hard. She took our drink order, ice water for me and fresh brewed Iced Tea ($3.00) for my wife. We then took to studying the expansive menu. It is just like the menu at Dockers down in Fox Lake. You name it, they have it. We see our server refilling drinks for the other diners, bringing out some appetizers, etc. and finally taking our food order. We were in no rush and just sat and talked. Then we saw our server bringing meals out to people that were there way before we got there. Not a good sign as there was another large group still to get their meals in front of us. Our drinks got refilled and we sat some more. Our food finally arrived after an easy half hour, maybe longer. She did explain that it was only her and the cook so that's what took so long. The meals were worth the wait. My wife had the Dockers Style Marinated Chicken Plate ($15.99) with fresh fruit. A warm pita was topped with a juicy and tasty Greek seasoned chicken with a side Greek salad and several slices of fresh fruit. I had the Grecian Salad with Chicken ($15.99). Prior to bringing out our meals, our server asked if I like anchovies on my Greek salad - I sure do and she loaded me up. The salad was composed of plenty of the usual Greek salad ingredients and a very tasty dressing. This could easily be shared. Our meals were excellent, fresh and flavorful! Everything we saw go by looked delicious and we would go back again if we were in the area, just not if we're pressed for time.
