So today I decided to see what the hype was about! I decided to order online because I heard the lines were at least an hour wait! The dragon flavor was good but the wings were cold (after a 7 min drive home) and the garlic parm was bathing in oil which left my stomach swirling a bit. The last thing I ordered which was highly disappointing was the stuffed jalapeños. If I wanted some box store appetizers I would have done it myself. Fire Wings used to be fire. Recently came to this location a year after COVID-19 because I was craving some juicy chicken wings; I remembered how big the wings and drumsticks were, how good the flavors were and how well each one was coated. They didn't deliver the same experience this time. The chicken was tiny in comparison, and the sauce on the saigon street left more to be desired as there was too much coating with too little flavor. The korean kick was a bit too saucy, whilst the lemon pepper was the only flavor that was decent. The service was ok, not much to complain about as it was on time for pickup. I was expecting as much based off the other reviews, but hoped for the best. Pick up the slack Fire Wings! Won't be coming back here unless something changes. read more

This was the worst experience. I haven't been to this location in a really long time and thought I'd go tonight. Our garlic noodles were fine, but the chicken was not. They were overcooked and dry. The Garlic Parmesan tasted nothing like Garlic Parmesan. Tasted more like grease. The Lemon Pepper wings were tiny and had very little flavor as well. It's like they rushed this order. Fire wings hasn't disappointed yet. Yeah sometimes the wait can be long but that can be any place. I definitely recommend placing your order online. When this location first opened up the phone must not have been connected because we never got through. Since then I've never had any problems when ordering online. First let me start with the sides. Garlic fries are amazing here so if you like them you have to try them. The seasoned fries are good as well, like curly fries but straight. The jalapeño poppers are supper yummy (also heat up in an air fryer nicely). Garlic noodles I have only had from the Arden location and they weren't as good as I expected so I haven't tried them since (possible update on that). Wings! God they have so many wing flavors we have gone back a bunch of times just trying them now we pretty much have our favorites. Some people rave about the peanut butter, honestly wasn't that impressed with it. Not too overwhelming though so don't be scared to try it. The garlic parmesan is definitely a favorite so crispy/ garlicy and delicious. Now their buffalo is okay but if you like a little more of a kick I'd recommend the blazing buffalo just a lil spicier and great with ranch. The Cali rub and mango habanero are my fiancé's favorite. Salt and pepper is good and chipotle bbq was pretty tasty too. Now I love lemon pepper at wing stop but I really don't order them here because the flavor is just too lemony for me, if you like more lemon flavor then that's all you! Chicken sandwich: I tried the Louisiana hot sandwich and man it lived up to the name. It was definitely hot and this was the mildest of the hot ones. If you like heat these sandwiches are for you. I had to use ranch on majority of the chicken to be able to eat it. The chicken was definitely cooked great, crispy and tender. Definitely try this place if you like wings/ garlic fries. It was okay. My fries were soggy and they didn't take the paper off of the cheese before they put the cheese in the sandwich. Fire wings is fire!! My favorite wing spot! Have tried almost all the flavors and my top three are Caribbean Jerk, Buffalo Stampede, and Sriracha. So my wife and I went to Fire Wings for the first time when the shelter in place order was initially put into place in Sacramento County. I say this to set the review up that this was a TO GO order. One of the things I REALLY like about Fire Wings is the AWESOME variety of flavors and infinite number of combinations you can create! My wife ordered her usual Lemon Pepper wings with Garlic Noodles and I ordered Garlic Parmesan and Original with fries. The food was delicious! The staff was really organized and all of the tables were put up. We have been to this location a few times now and each visit has been almost identical. Rude staff and very poor management. The quality of the wings are subpar, although there is a wait, they never taste fresh. There is a handwritten sign in the window showing they close at 9, but we arrived at 8:30 most chairs were put up. When we placed our order, we sat down to wait for our food and we were told they were closed and couldn't dine in - this was not our intention. The facility is not very clean. I know this probably happens at all food places, but the fact you can see through the kitchen makes it worse. No masks while cooking, the cooks will literally be eating wings while they're cooking yours, and I'm not too confident the teenage boys talking back in the kitchen wash their hands or change their gloves. Fire Wings is the best. I recommend them to everyone in the neighborhood. I love the food, service, and attitude of the employees. The only complaint I have is Door Dash. Their rude to the employees. They cut in line in front of the customers. The Door Dash don't even tip the employees when they get tip themselves. The Door Dash should be charged a fee as a tip for the employees or get rid of Door Dash and replace them with a different company with respectful employees. I was surprised when I came a cross a fire wings with low rating! Is that possible?! We ordered take out through phone and they said 20 mins. We got there about 15 mins later anticipating our order to be ready soon. We ended up waiting an extra 20 mins! It's one thing if they told us they were busy and the wait may be a little longer. But that wasn't the case. When we got home (just a min away from the place), the wings were not even close to hot. They were just lightly warm, which is the strangest thing. To strat off I've had fire wings many times but at another location and their food is bomb. I came into this one today and the service was great I was greeted with a smile and the girl up front was very helpful. I ordered and paid and left for a bit outside until my order was ready. Typically I know it takes them to cook up to 25-30 min so I stepped out but came back in in like 7 min which is why I was surprised that my food was ready. Anyways I came home opened the food and the chicken looks burnt. I bit into one of the chicken and it tasted as if it was old and recooked. I've never tasted a chicken that bad.
