We both hated the "seasoned" fries. They seem to just be crispy fries because we didn't taste any seasoning. Order 2: 10 wings, all flats, half salt n pepper and half Louisiana rub. The flavor was okay. It didn't wow me, and I expected more flavor, especially from the salt n pepper ones. I wouldn't get these flavors again and would try something else next time. Air dry machine, no paper towels, the door does have a foot notch to open it without using your hands BUT since it's heavy, you have to pull to open, which I hate after just washing my hands. Ive Been here a number of times. I Ordered online for pick up on a Monday night but decided to eat there while I picked up my food. It was busy. I like ordering online as I receive a text informing me as soon as my order is ready. My order pick up was smooth. They have a separate line to pick up. Everything was delivered fine and the 60 piece value meal seemed like a good value but I subtracted a star due to portion sizes. For large sizes they seemed rather small. Wingstop's actual wings are meatier, and seem a little more filling. Is that because they're pumped full of hormones? Probably, but it's still a meaty wing. These always seem a little skimpy by comparison. This location has decent service, though I've yet to have an online order ready when it was scheduled. Always have to wait a bit. Not like a crazy amount, but there's a wait. This seems common with wing joints - Wingstop certainly suffers from the same issue. It's sort of my backup wing place, you know? Came by Fire Wings to eat some good tasty never disappointing Chicken Wings! We had the Buffalo, Thai chili and Garlic Parmesean wings with crinkle fries and seasoned fries. I never had the Thai Chili flavor as I usually order the California rub, but glad I gave it a try! It's not spicy but sweet with a taste of honey and sprinkled with green onions. So good! The wings were also hot upon service and crispy. I will say the seasoned fries didn't really have a seasoned flavor, they tasted more cooked over than seasoned so I'll probably do the tots next time. I'm bummed to have to revisit my original review to give less stars because we were such fans of Fire Wings, but our last order left us super disappointed. We placed an order for pick up, it was their boneless wing special, 89 cents a piece so we got 80 boneless, seasoned fries, veggies and blue cheese and ranch dipping sauces. We arrived within 5 minutes of getting the text our food was ready since we were already at Delta, and we were home 10 minutes later. The Peking is normally a runny sauce but this time it was thick and gelatinous, and while the wings were coated in that signature Peking color, the flavor was minimal. Buffalo is also a saucy kind of sauce but again, it was dry. There was no sauce transfer on your fingers when you picked up the chicken. So again, minimal flavor and no spicy kick because of minimal sauce. Louisiana rub is our favorite but this time it was so salty it was barely edible. Garlic parm tasted like chicken dipped in movie theater butter with a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese. There was no garlic flavor at all. The only flavors that weren't a disappointment were lemon pepper and bbq. I do know you can pay an up charge for "wet" wings, which is just extra sauce or rub, but previously they supplied enough sauce that this wasn't needed. The biggest let down of the night tho was the blue cheese, because I could have drowned the lackluster chicken in blue cheese to give some flavor but nope! I'm not sure if they changed their blue cheese or I got a bad batch but this was not blue cheese! It had zero blue cheese crumbles in it, it was super watery and had no tang you'd expect from a blue cheese. It tasted like just plain buttermilk dressing base with no seasoning. It was horrible! And no, I did not mix it up with my ranch. They mark the containers to distinguish ranch from blue cheese, and our ranch tasted like ranch. Overall, we were disappointed. $85 later and more than half this order is sitting in my fridge because it just didn't hit the spot for any of us. read more

Fire Wings will always have a special place in my heart! It's one of my favs each time I come back to sac. Though the prices have gone up post covid the wings are still immaculate. The flavor range is great as well with the cali rub, Saigon street, and peanut butter(don't knock it til you try it!) being some of my favorites. Bone-in is definitely the move here(I normally don't get soda but the root beer here is so gooood I'm convinced it's different) and I usually do get the combo with garlic fries. The wings are always crispy and blue cheese is my sauce of choice EVERY single time(I usually get extra tbh). The service is nice but it's more of a fast casual environment and the ambience can get a little loud. read more

We ordered 10 boneless wings and 10 bone in wings. They brought 20 boneless wings. I took ten of the boneless wings back and then they brought out 10 bone in wings. Great! Right? Wrong. They got the flavors wrong... the flavors were good enough though so I just ate them. These other complaints are minimal, but they added to the crappy experience. The bone in wings were small and the soap dispenser in the bathroom was in pieces and obviously didn't work. I think I went at a good time, as the staff was really efficient. The line that was at the front went by super quickly, and they got the food out quickly. The wings portions and the fries portions they served us were generous. However, I wasn't the biggest fan of the dry rubs and sauce I ordered. They were a bit salty for my liking. Garlic noodles are also one of my reasons for going here. The garlic flavor is not strong, but it gets the cravings satisfied. This time I also ordered their Buffalo fries, which is super good, but I ended up becoming so full from it that I wasn't able to eat my garlic noodles or wings, which were my main reasons for the stop. Think of it as picking up 2-3 meals in one trip.
