Finally gave it a try and it was a disappointment. I was craving wings so decided to give them a try. Didn't get a chance to look over their menu because I was driving so I just had Siri search and dial for me. Kept seeing this on Yelp so I finally decided to try it. Put in an online order for a 20pc family meal around 6:13 and it said it would be ready for pickup around 6:31. We got there around 6:37 and just had to wait a few minutes for them to bag everything. We always check our food before we go to make sure everything is there and it was so A+ there! Anyway on to if the food is actually good are not. First things first, the wings are on point and packed with flavor.. We got the Malaysian Curry, Garlic Parm, and Peanut butter (Yeah that one was my fiance's choice I thought it sounded nasty). The Malaysian Curry was FIRE!! Hella good! Garlic parm was pretty good too with lots of parm, but maybe could've used some more garlic to its flavor. The peanut butter was just ok it wasn't nasty like I thought it would be, to me it tastes like a sweet chili sauce mixed with peanut butter (I know that sounds gross, but it's not as bad as it sounds), and it's pretty crunchy, but I wouldn't order again. Docked 2 stars cuz the fries suck! Didn't enjoy them at all lol. I think I came in there expecting Wingstop fries which I love and I was disappointed. They remind me of Burger King fries where it seems like it's going to be crispy fries from the outside but then you bite into it and it's just kind of flaky sogginess. Also the sauces were super watered down, no bueno. All the points go to the wings though cuz they got that yummy, yummy. Shout out to the staff too! Came in about a few days ago, everything is spaced out due to the COVID; which is great. My friend was also with me, we were both ordering the 6 pc combo. Ordering was a bit tough for my friend, her number and her fathers number are already in their system and my friend had to state about few times that she wanted the text of the food being order to her number. However, that didn't happen and went to her fathers number instead; leaving us to wonder why my order text came in quicker than hers when she ordered before and the same order. Food was hot and good; but I know some will disagree with me but I do prefer Wingstop over Fire Wings. I feel like Wingstop's flavors are more bold in flavor and taste. I tried to like Fire Wings. My taste buds just couldn't take it. A few weeks ago I ordered lemon pepper wings and garlic noodles. They must not understand that the chicken wings are already dead! They don't have to be fried hard enough to kill them again. The wings were dry, hard, and overcooked both times. I ordered the garlic noodles, which were brown, hard, and flavorless. Where they overcooked or had they been sitting out overnight? My leftover homemade noodles never looked that way. Of course, I didn't eat them. So I changed up on my last order and figured, they couldn't possibly screw up garlic fries. Boy was I wrong. Some were hard and crispy and others were chewy. Don't worry Wing Stop... I've been to Fire Wings in other cities in the past and this one did not disappoint. So much so that I went two days on a row and introduced a friend to it. My go-to order is the 10-Piece Combo: Korean Kicks & Garlic Parmesan with either seasoned or garlic fries, with ranch & a drink for $13.99. (I always get an extra ranch because one ranch does NOT cut it for 10-pieces of chicken and fries if you like everything real saucy like me). The parmesan wings are my FAVORITE! They are always so flavorful and have dried parmesan & garlic. The Korean Kicks are good too always have a nice amount of sauce, but stays crispy. One thing I will say about Fire Wongs is that the wings stay crispy even when drenched in sauce.. even after a late night/next day reheat in the microwave. The garlic fries & seasoned fries are also tasty (best eaten right away when hot) I'll definitely be going back I'll probably stick to these same two flavors since others I've tried didn't do it for me and the Garlic Parmesan & Korean Kicks have never disappointed me (gotta love consistency)! read more

Love the different flavors they offer and their sides too! They are not just your typical wings place that has your 'basic' wing flavors. I would always get their Saigon, Peking and Peanut Butter with a side of garlic noodles and sometimes with a side of zucchini sticks. I always feel like a fat ass after getting Fire Wings but it's all worth it. As I was walking past on my usual Sunday stroll to Ross and Marshall's I felt my stomach growling as if a tiger were in there. I had been hearing the news about Vallejo getting a fire wings so I decided to try it out. As I walked in the ambient was super relaxing, very family friendly and clean. As I walked up to place my order I had no idea what any of the flavors were but the cashiers were so helpful and kind and let me try all the flavors I wanted. I finally settled for peanut butter and dragon kick. As I sat down and craved towards the tv to watch some tv and the food came out within ten minutes (much faster than Wingstop!) As I stared upon the food I glazed on how good it looked with the garnishes on. I took a bite out of the peanut butter and it all just hit me at once. The crunch it had to it, the little kick of heat, the peanuts on top. It was one of the best flavors I had ever tried. The fries were super crispy and hot. All in all I can see the potential this spot has of being a landmark place to eat in Vallejo. The food was excellent, the service was superb, and the all around environment was welcoming and clean. 10 out of 10 recommend to anyone who hasn't tried it! read more

They rather have employees standing at the window waiting for each order that takes 30 minutes or longer to make. When you call they never answer the phone. However, the reason I give Fire Wings a 2 is because their customer service is SHITTY. When I walk up to the counter the young lady had an attitude and was talking to another employee who was eating their lunch. Instead of her engaging with me and the rest of the party she kept conversing with the coworker. When she finally decide to take our order in between her conversation with a coworker, we thank you her and she said nothing and continue talking. It is a shame you have a restaurant with amazing food and looks gorgeous but have employees with shitty customer service skills. Been here like 5 times already since they opened. This fire wings is better than Fairfield my opinion. The wings have more meat and they are much nicer. The manager or whoever the older asian guy was, was really nice too. My friend and I had ordered the Dragon flavor, but it tasted like it was the Saigon flavor. When we asked about it, he said it was the right flavor and he would give us the Saigon flavor so we can taste the difference. He gave us the wings for free. That was A+ customer service.
