We had a truly wonderful experience from start to finish. The ambiance is amazing--beautiful space with warm, inviting lighting that immediately sets the tone for a great evening. The service was terrific. Kellen was our waiter, and he made us feel genuinely important and completely at home. Management even stopped by our table to check on us, ask for feedback on both the service and the food, and see if there was anything they could be doing better, which really spoke to how much they care about the guest experience. We all ordered the small filet, and every single one was cooked to perfection. The Caesar salad was excellent, with just the right amount of dressing. We also shared the truffle mac and cheese and the potatoes au gratin--both were generous portions and absolutely delicious. To finish, we ordered The Movie Ticket dessert: Flourless brownie, caramel popcorn, marshmallow, salted butter powder, and dulce de leche gelato. Came here for dinner, and immediately loved the decor--the beautifully lit bar goes that goes all the way the the ceiling, the exposed brick, and the circular staircase. There is a piano in the corner, and comes on the wall--love! There is seating in what looks like a large loft, but I didn't go upstairs to look. The service is impeccable. We were seated right away, and our server was great. She didn't just start rattling off info about the menu, which drives me crazy. She asked if we wanted to hear about the menu first. One thing I will say about these restaurants that focus on first rate service is that it feels like they are standing back watching your every move. I am weird, but when servers are standing at the back of the room talking to each other and watching all the tables, I always wonder if they are saying "look at that lady at table 4--her hair is hideous." Lol. I know it's my own issue, but it does feel like being watched. We ordered cocktails, and they were delicious. I ordered an Amaretto sour, and it was perfect--not everyone does the egg white, but they did. Hubby ordered a MaiTai, and it was also delicious. We got the bread, which comes with three different kinds of butter--lemon Dijon, garlic herb, and smoked honey butter ( I think I remembered them correctly). Who would have thought butter could get even better! It can! It was so good I could have just eaten it straight off the spreader. Hubby ordered the crispy king salmon, which came with forbidden rice and cauliflower. I tasted it and it was quite good. The skin on the salmon was perfection! I ordered the rack of lamb, which had a cherry balsamic demiglace. I hate to say it, but I did not like it. Like not at all. I ended up just eating my carrots and bread. We also ordered a side of potatoes au gratin. It tasted fine, but I could not cut through the layers with just my fork. I had to use a fork and knife to cut each bite. I'm no expert, but I don't think you should have to use a knife to cut each bite of potatoes au gratin. But what do I know? Do take my opinion with a grain of salt, as I'm the first person to tell you I'm super picky. And, when you go to a steakhouse, it's probably a good idea to order steak which I'm sure is fantastic there. I personally recommend their Sonoran-style NY strip as it was well seasoned and filled with various flavors while still not overwhelming the star of the plate which is the steak itself. Walking around downtown Chandler, i've always wanted to try this place out! It gave me a subtle New York vibe for some reason - not like i've been haha but it's what I imagine NY steakhouses it to be like lol. My family & I finally tried it for Christmas Eve dinner! All I can say is wow. My boyfriend took me here for national girlfriend's day and our experience was beyond amazing. The service was exceptional. This place (especially upstairs) is perfect for date night, very intimate. The food is by far the best food I have ever had and that is not a joke. I have eaten at a lot of nice restaurants and Elliot's has always stayed at the top. Do plan to spend a pretty penny here but it was all worth it. Went to Elliott's at the suggestion from a friend and it didn't disappoint! The restaurant itself looks like it's in a remodeled old western saloon and has a cool vibe. We were there on a Friday night and it was busy but not packed, which I like. Drinks were well executed and refreshing. Wife had a martini and I had the Island Monologue which had a unique twist with the pineapple and cinnamon blend. For appetizer we had the Proscuitto wrapped lobster medallions which was unique and very tasty. We weren't terribly hungry so we split the filet with crab and caviar, which was great. It did appear the Caviar was Beluga and not Osetra, but still gave a great twist to the steak. Our server, Kevin, and assisting staff were top-notch. On the whole a great experience. We'll be back. Celebrated my husbands birthday last night at Elliott's . What a fabulous experience! Our waitress Ula was an absolute gem making sure everything was perfect. We had Wedge salads to start, they are huge by the way- easily shareable and the I had the Venison whicjh was out of this world good. He had the blue cheese crusted filet cooked to perfection and we shared the broccolini as a side.I enjoyed a delicious Mai tai as well. We finished with a lemon cake dessert very good as well. You used to be one of my favorite restaurants in Chandler. I always appreciated that you offered a Happy Hour seven days a week, and I've visited many times--both casually for Happy Hour and for a more formal dining experience with reservations in the dining room. I was excited to introduce my daughter to your Happy Hour and thought Mother's Day would be the perfect opportunity. We got dressed up and came in expecting the experience I've enjoyed so many times before, only to find out that Happy Hour was NOT being offered. This was extremely disappointing, especially since there was no prior indication. Had I known, I would have made a reservation for the dining room instead of planning around Happy Hour. Instead, I ended up with a $500 bar bill for an experience I hadn't intended. What made this worse was the feeling that this change was simply to capitalize on a holiday, another restaurant more concerned with making themselves richer, rather than prioritize loyal customers. It completely changed my perception of your restaurant. We came to Elliott's recently with a party of 13 for a birthday party. Everyone was treated to a four course meal. Everyone seemed pleased with their meals. My husband and I started with the lobster appetizer and the scallop appetizer. Both were very good, but thought that scallop appetizer edged out the lobster just a bit. Next, we had a nice French onion soup and a really delicious chopped wedge salad. For our entrées, we had the ribeye and the sea bass. Both were well executed and delicious. The desserts didn't wow us. The carrot cake was on the dry side and we didn't taste a lot of cream cheese in the frosting. The olive cake was pretty good, but not something I would order again. Especially with the red brick walls and dark woods. The menu offered several options of steak cuts as well as seafood. We started with the Hanoi Scallops. Divine!! My mom was visiting from out of state (we live close by!) and was looking for somewhere nice to go to dinner. We have been past Elliott's many times, but we have never stopped in. We made a reservation ahead of time for the three of us and were seated right away. Our server, Colin, was great. He was friendly and attentive. My mom and I both ordered the 6oz filet - they were both cooked appropriately per our specifications. I had the charred chimichurri sauce with my filet, and it was delicious! The perfect addition to an excellent cut of meat. My husband opted for the venison, which I of course had to try. It was delightful with the goat cheese! My wife and I went last night for our anniversary. We were looking for a fancy experience, and Elliott's did not disappoint. The ambience was very upscale; most of the patrons were dressed up, and they even had a piano in the corner for live music (although we ate there early so we didn't get to see it). The music on the speaker system was quiet enough that we didn't have trouble hearing each other either. The service was incredible! Our server, Kay, took amazing care of us, explained all about their specialties and even gave us some recommendations. She offered a champagne toast to us for our anniversary too, which is not something we generally experience when we go out. Our food came promptly and our glasses were always full. Speaking of the food, it was some of the best we've ever had. My wife and I each got steak (she got a sirloin and I had the NY strip), and they were both phenomenal. We also shared a bowl of lobster mac & cheese (this was admittedly the reason we wanted to go), and it was some of the best mac & cheese I've ever tried anywhere, not even factoring in how delicious the lobster was. Kay was also kind enough to inform us that the sides are served family style, which is why we only ordered the one side. It was definitely big enough for both of us. There was also bread and three kinds of butter, all of which were incredible. An experience like no other! My Wife and I were celebrating our 2 year anniversary. I booked a reservation on Open table and included a message in the notes. To my suprise the staff called the night before our reservation to confirm a few special request I had. This alone got me extremely excited for the special night. As soon as we walked in the staff and Manager greeted us by saying "Happy Anniversary " really felt like a VIP and definitely won me points with the Wife. I had walked by this place a few weeks ago and was intrigued by the large arches, lighting, and balcony. I had to see what it was all about, so I made a reservation for my boyfriend and I using Open Table. We went on a Friday night and were immediately greeted by the friendly staff and escorted to our table on the second floor, overlooking the bar and downstairs dining room. Best seat in the house, especially if you enjoy people watching! I recommend making a reservation as even the bar filled up quickly. We hadn't been somewhere nice in a while so we went a little crazy, but also were not expecting decent size portions! I wasn't sure what to drink, so our wonderful waiter Kevin, had the mixologist whip up something fruity for me as requested. It came out alright, looked pretty but the taste was okay. We started with a caesar salad and french onion soup, both so cheesy! Not only was the presentation of the caesar salad impressive but the taste was immaculate, I loved the dressing. For entrees, we tried the truffle steak and chicken. Both were amazing, the steak was huge, neither of us could finish our entrees. The steak came with pasta on top and the chicken came with mashed potatoes, so really no need for a side, however we were so impressed with the menu and wanted to try many things so we also got the truffle mac and cheese and potatoes au gratin. I personally could have gone without the potatoes au gratin, they were fine, but didn't blow me away. I was happy to see there were some reasonably priced bottles of wine on the menu and we were able to get a relatively nice cab for $90. Sounds pricey, but at a place like this I anticipated we'd have to pay much more. We got bread and butter to start. The bread was nice, but there was only one butter (herby) that we actually liked. The others were odd. Just not my cup of tea. The burrata and the French onion soup were both amazing. I'd honestly just go for that sometime at the bar with drinks. The steaks were cooked perfectly medium-rare (we asked for medium) but I don't mind that. I really enjoy a more rare steak. I got the filet with crab and caviar. I wish there was more crab. I couldn't even really taste it between the steak, the butter and the caviar. I think I'll just get the steak next time because everything else was just lost on it. Husband got the chile New York strip. It was interesting. Very tomatilloey. The bacon wrapped chile was probably supposed to just be garnish but we tried it. The bacon was hard as a rock. Lol! Finally, the sad part: the Creme brûlée. It was so pretty. This was gifted to us by the restaurant for our anniversary so I feel a tad bit of guilt judging, but it was grainy and pretty flavorless. I am very disappointed in the food experience that I had with my wife on valentines day here. Lets break the experience down: Inside is clean and has a nice dark ambience, but if you sit at the top, it does feel crowded. Because of this, my range of motion was pretty limited. The service we received was fair, but for the price paid it wasn't as elegant. Dominicks Steakhouse has unfortunately set the bar high for me when it comes to steakhouse experiences. Now onto the food, we ordered a blue cheese crusted filet, a normal filet, truffle mac and cheese, and the buttery mashed potatoes. Blue Cheese Filet: Steak crust itself was unseasoned and the only thing that kept it decent was the crusted blue cheese topping (and the smoked chimichurri). We had to get to the restraunt late at night for our reservation and waited some time for our food, I was not about to send it back. I did order medium rare, but it was more on the rare side. Normal Filet: Ordered as a medium well and it came out cooked fine. However, my wife did not have any seasoning on the steak and it lacked flavor. Unfortunately it did require that smoked chimichurri to make it decent. Buttery Mashed Potatoes: Tasted like instant potatoes and had a huge lack of flavor. We barely finished a 3rd of it. They were not as airy either hence why we believed they were boxed mash potatoes. Truffle Mac and Cheese: This happened to be the best item we had for our meal. The noodles were good and so was the truffle, but it was nothing to rave about. Lastly, we got the movie ticket dessert and that was great. The sweetness and saltiness if the dish made it enjoyable. Final Thoughts: May never come back again and for the price of over $200, I'll make the drive to Dominick's instead. After searching for steakhouses nearby, I stumbled upon Elliot's--and I'm so glad I did. I made a reservation in advance and noted that we'd be celebrating a birthday. When we arrived, we were promptly seated, but not before I took a moment to admire the space. The interior is absolutely stunning--intimate, modern, and sleek. There's a black grand piano near the entrance that's not only beautiful but also made the perfect backdrop for some Instagram-worthy photos (because, of course!). We kicked things off with cocktails. I ordered the French 75 (Gin | Lemon | Blanc de Blancs) which was light, crisp, and classy. My boyfriend went with the Island Monologue--Coconut Ketel One, Honeysuckle, Kaffir Lime, Yuzu, Coconut, and a Campari-Pomegranate Foam. It was complex and so delicious. Our server was kind, attentive, and super knowledgeable about the menu. I went with the 6 oz filet paired with truffle mac n cheese and the potato au gratin--both sides were rich, flavorful, and paired perfectly with the steak. My boyfriend ordered the Sonoran-style NY Strip with a guajillo chile rub, bacon-wrapped jalapeño, and tomatillo salsa. I had to sneak a bite, and yep--it was just as good as it sounds. Elliott's is located in downtown Chandler. It has an open floor plan with modern decor. Our first impression was made at the bar while waiting for a table. They don't have a mocktail menu, however, when I asked for one,the bartender was happy to come up with something for me. I simply had to provide some of the flavor profiles I like and, with a little magic, he was able to provide me with a well-balanced drink. Our second impression, was the service. Our server was personable and passionate about the food. We loved her. Because the place had been highly recommended, we decided to go big with yummy leftovers if necessary. The shrimp cocktail was eh. Definitely had better. The tartare was salty and not enjoyable (definitely not balanced). And there was like maybe one fourth of a cup of tartare served with a loaf of bread. The bread was way too much. I originally wanted to order the ribeye, but they use truffle oil and I didn't want my tastebuds to be overwhelmed. I'm a big fan of red meats like bison and venison and so was super happy to see that they offered venison. The venison was a little chewy, which I could live with, but the sage was so overpowering! It was disappointing. The lobster was good. The mushrooms were good for a couple bites before the truffle oil got me. The filet was cooked as ordered, but wasn't seasoned well. There is always a little bite to au gratin potatoes and I expect it, but the potatoes were underdone and not enjoyable. The mac and cheese was good. It was my favorite side dish of the ones we ordered. I loved the olive oil cake. I'm not a fan of chocolate, so I didn't touch the bark, but the cake and berries were delicious. My partner was not a fan of the carrot cake. The cake was dry with far too much frosting. I wanted this experience to be great, in fact, I expected to be, but overall it was just okay. Phew. This place is handful, where do i start!! We reached there 10 mins before our scheduled time and were seated at the bar.. first off the ambience in one word - Classic. Everything you want to find in steakhouse - Elliott's provides. The chairs, the live piano, the drinks, the crowd - very chic, very sophisticated, very old fashioned. Might i say, I asked the for the popular - it was the smoked old fashioned! We didn't try it as was in a mood for little adventure with drinks today, so went for their second best seller - Director's cut from their Signature cocktails. The name just has a ring to it! If you like tropical, if you like mezcal, if you like Smokey, look no further. We ordered the non alcoholic version of paper plane called "no flight" - if you're not in the mood for alcohol, special shout out to Samantha- she makes a mean "no fly zone"! A beautiful pink drink. Do try it, do ask for her to make it!! Also tried the Gin cocktails - it's a Friday, you can have more than 2-3 drinks, give yourselves a break!! - the Gin cocktail made by Samantha - Aviation, with a special twist and "the last word" with a cherry liquor. Absolute perfection!! Moving over to Date night, we got an excellent seating upstairs, which had special leather couch and a perfect view of the lights and bar.. Collin our server was perfect!!! He started off with - oysters which were perfect! Don't go for the champagne oysters with caviar, have them separate.. The mains were -pepporcini crusted ribeye and the star was the foie gras with filet mignon, perfection....! This was accompanied with the truffle mac and cheese which was so delicately seasoned with cheese with so many flavours, and truffle mushrooms! Overall it was a perfect date night at a perfect place! Our server, Will, was great. Very attentive and made great recommendations. Beautiful restaurant with candle lit tables for an intimate feel. Started with raw oysters and the Hanoi scallops.. you definitely need to try these! Will recommended the Chilean sea bass which was light and cooked beautifully. Will also recommended the olive oil cake for dessert and we're so glad he did! Not too sweet and has a nice crunch from the caramelized honey. Perfect ending to our dinner. read more

I will start off by saying I loved this place and my wife and I had gone to Elliot's probably 15 times in the last year. We have noticed through the last few times that the quality of service has dropped. We have been forgotten about, had to ask for common things that are normally already served and or provided without question. Finished plates sat at the table for a long time when normally they are right on top of it and the water is filled quickly. Tonight in particular we sat at our table for over 25 minutes with no one greeting us after being seated. Again being forgotten about. Had to ask for the bread and after we mentioned that we had been waiting, the servers and the managers made it a point to not come to our table. The managers normally go around to every table once you have received your food to check in on you as we know from our several previous experiences but this time they checked on every table besides ours. I am not one to ask for a discount or a free meal but if something needs to be brought up I say it. As if the service is outstanding I am the first to Yelp about it and share the great experience. I am disappointed in the restaurant as the food is outstanding but the service has killed the vibe and this time being my birthday I was hoping for better after our last few times the service not being the best. read more

This was for a friend's birthday dinner. The bar area is AMAZING, live music (piano). He even played the Happy Birthday song as she was walking in! I loved the dim lighting and how the bar is set up, super classy and clean. We were sat upstairs and our waiter was very prompt and knowledgeable. Definitely sold me on, Samantha's cocktail! Haha! It was a blueberry gin, creamy and delicious! Their male manager also checked in on us from time to time and I thought that was nice. My reasoning for taking off a star is because my steak was 80% fat and lacked flavor. I split a medium ribeye 16oz with bone marrow butter. My boyfriend said his half was super salty, which I found interesting because I didn't think my half was... I did not mention this because I was a guest for a birthday dinner. Everything else was delicious. Mashed potatoes, runny consistency, but yummy! Mac and cheese was a HUGE favorite. Caesar salad was plated well and was yummy!
