We contacted Firefly Team Events to plan a team-building day to take our already successful law firm to the next level of performance. From the start, Michael sold us on a day that would inspire our team and have some fun at the same time! They did not disappoint. James took the time to talk to us about our team's current performance and what we thought we needed to improve. We chose the Leisure Olympics to start the day, which focused on productivity and teamwork. James, Bill, and Kayley really kept the team engaged and focused on friendly competition. Everyone had a blast. After lunch, we did the Level Up program to focus on communication and personal interactions. This was probably the most impactful event -- our team is still talking about how much they learned about each other, and they didn't realize we had such amazing people on our team. I also appreciate Nadine for making the planning so easy - she really did all the work, coordinating with the venue to make sure everything was in place and ran smoothly. I had Firefly Events out to help me host an End of Summer get together for two of our SoCal offices. It was a day at the beach, lunch then games. Firefly was great to work with from the first inquiry all the way through to the planning stages and execution and even the follow up. My company hosted a sales meeting with our international partners and we wanted to do a fun team building event for about 18 people. I first met James through email and felt a great vibe from the start. Quick to answer my question and concerns (from scouting locations to possible language barriers). We selected the Iron Challenge - super fun and funny to watch. James and Megan were engaging and really brought out the competitive spirit in everyone. As an incredibly busy and demanding group of 70 people planning an event during our busiest season of the year we needed immense finessing to make our event AMAZING and fit our needs. Firefly Team Events made it a breeze! Michael was an incredible champion of their programs and made us feel comfortable and taken care of. He hustled to get us items and venues even when racing against the clock because of our busy schedules. He was flexible and reachable day or night. Sometimes I legitimately had him making us excel sheets of the budget after hours and he did so with a fantastic attitude. We became as close as best friends with all the work and effort he put into each detail to ensure it was everything we envisioned. Nadine was outstanding the day of when handling all the little details so we could just sit back and enjoy the creative custom program they put together. The program James designed was above and beyond to say the least. He made custom games centered around our brand. They all knew the products and the culture which was crucial for us after getting pitches from other companies that didn't fit our vision or didn't feel creative enough. Better still they were just as if not more excited about the event than we were and that really showed in the final product. If you're looking for that last push to make a decision, I can guarantee you cannot go wrong with this truly impressive group of people. First of all, James from Firefly was beyond amazing in helping us organize our event. There was a lot of logistical challenges on our end and last minute changes and he was patient and extremely helpful throughout. Our company was hosting a 10th Anniversary celebration at Pelican Hill and we were looking for non-cheezy team building games (no trust falls!) that would be appropriate for adults and children. On the day of our event, the coordinators met our group of 60 people in the hotel lobby and walked us over to the golf pavilion where the event was to be held. Everything was set up and ready to go. We divided into teams, were given bandanas, and chose team names. And then the games began! Going into the day, I wasn't sure how our group would react, but it turns out we have some competitive people! There were about 5 different stations that we rotated through, competing against other teams in various games and challenges. Everyone from our company had a blast! The firefly staff was so organized, helpful, and most importantly - fun! People are still talking about the games a week later. Firefly also sent us all the photos they took that day which was a huge plus. I would highly recommend using them for your next corporate event. read more

We had a 2 day conference with our managers in OC and wanted to do something creative, unique and fun. I contact Firefly because they were local. I worked with other team building and event planners and they are from out of town and try to gather help locally. I could not take the chance. James at Firefly organized an event at Artemus where we did police training, shot people and got shot on real simulators. It was significant to our corporate message of never giving up. Everything was on time and quality from the facility to the wonderful lunch. We are planning another event this summer. read more

These guys know how to get things going. I'm not much of a team-building, rah-rah sort of person but I have to admit that this was way more fun than I expected. My 5-star review is long overdue, but I can't say enough good things about my experience working with the Firefly team! I planned an event with them throughout Summer 2019 for implementation in August 2019. I work at a university and needed a team to come in to facilitate some games as part of our student welcome. Even before booking them, I had such a positive experience from the beginning. Friendly customer service, prompt responses, and they involved me in several planning phone calls throughout the summer. They were adaptable to university policies, restrictions inside the venue, expectations from my department, and willing to talk through any and all options. They were so excited to work with me and to put on something memorable for our students. What really made me feel confident in working with them was learning their facilitators' background stories. Many of them have a camp counselor/facilitator background. They recommended Kelsey as the main facilitator (Hi Kelsey! Thank you!). I worked with Michael during the booking and Nadine for operations. I LOVED working with all of them, and was so impressed by the team on the day of. They came early, set everything up, stuck to the schedule, had great energy, and cleaned up everything within a matter of minutes. Given that I was overseeing other events and working with multiple vendors that day, I felt so reassured knowing that they had everything under control. The Firefly team truly exceeded our expectations with the experience they provided us. The Graffiti challenge was like no other event I have ever participated in. It was engaging and inspiring. It was a mix of art, exploration, and team collaboration. It challenged us to embrace something new and helped us gain a fresh understanding and respect for a truly intricate design medium; graffiti art. Man One, our professional graffiti guide, is a true artist and a great teacher. In combination with the tools, location, and the wonderful Firefly staff, I couldn't have imagine a more incredible team building activity.
