This is my go to place! Walked in with my friend and we were quickly sat at a booth. I ordered a pound of clams and my friend ordered a pound of shrimp, alongside they serve happy hour from 3:00 to 6:00 on Tuesdays and Fridays and we got the butterfly shrimp. The butterfly shrimp is always a hit., It's always super crispy and has a lot of flavor. I don't know what seasoning we put on it but it is really good. Both thick blast and collision were very delicious. Our server Steph was very hospitalic, she checked up on this multiple times and was very nice. The ambiance is very loud. Checked out Firehouse Crawfish and honestly, it was just alright. We got the Collision flavor at 2 Degree heat, which was the perfect spice level for us -- not too hot, just enough kick. But the crawfish were a big letdown. They seemed a little off -- not super fresh, and really tiny. My girlfriend even said the sauce had a hint of curry taste to it, which was unexpected for a Cajun boil. Not necessarily bad, just... different. The garlic noodles were bomb, though. Super flavorful. The wings were actually really good too -- crispy and seasoned well. Most of the fried stuff was solid, but the calamari was super thin and ended up chewy. The seasoning helped, but the texture wasn't it. The crab clusters were a win in terms of size and how they were cooked, but again, the flavor just didn't wow us. The sausage was probably the weakest link -- weird texture that didn't sit right. We did the $44 all-you-can-eat, and while that sounds like a great deal, the service was kind of slow -- especially with a 90-minute time limit. If it's all-you-can-eat, they really should be checking in more often so you're not sitting around waiting for your next round. Don't get me wrong the amount of food you get for the price is definitely unbeatable. It's a lot of food and you get full off appetizers, my gf had only one round while I had two trying to make the AYCE worth it. Overall, not a horrible place, but definitely not somewhere I'd be excited to go back to. There are better Cajun spots out there with fresher seafood and stronger flavors. so amazing I went last night, which was a Thursday night unaware that they offer all you can eat for $49 on Tuesday, Wednesdays, and Thursdays not only that they have a shrimp and lobster deal for $28 which was phenomenal. They also have a pound of shrimp with corn and potatoes for $21 actually $17 I believe anyways this place I've been here before unfortunately it's so far from Rancho Cordova but like always succeeds in customer service ambience food I love it here I had the pleasure of having Mercedes as always for my server. She's been around for a long time. Also had the opportunity to speak with Devon and watch him do his thing handling multi tables so good food was phenomenal. Oh my gosh, not only that I had the collision sauce but Mercedes nose exactly about everything I like . again I can't say it again not only was the food amazing but the servers was phenomenal. Definitely one of the better Cajun places in the area. I like the ambiance and the staff are really nice. I ordered the captains special (shrimp, potato, and sausage) and a side side of rice. I like that you can order the shrimp headless and deveined. The sausage was really good. My go to sauce is the thick blast, it's garlic butter with a Cajun kick! Went here yesterday night for the dinner and tried their EAT all you can every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday all you can eat selection. Not all their seafood choices are included in the all you can eat. The lobster, crab and oyster are excluded. But overall its good. I like that its always serve fresh and hot. But the service is too slow. You have to wait at least 10-15mins for your next order to come. The seafood are all fresh I can say. Love the butterfly shrimp and the fish fillet. It is soo good. The problem with the headless is that it gets really mushy. The food was pretty good. It's not something that I would say is better or worse than some of the others in the area. Only thing was the crawfish--they didn't seem super fresh and tasted like they might've been frozen.
