Paid for bowling and dinner, but ended up leaving hungry and spending even more elsewhere We came in with our child and fiancé, paid $80 for a bowling lane for 2 hours, and expected to enjoy a fun family night that included bowling and dinner. Instead, we ended up leaving early despite our game still having over a half hour left, going to BJ's (great experience and customer service) to eat, and spending almost double what we had planned because we received no service at all during our time here. When we first arrived, our waitress brought us three waters at 7:30 when our lane time started, but after that we were completely forgotten. About 35 minutes into our bowling time, we still had not been greeted to order food or drinks, even though we saw our waitress repeatedly walking back and forth servicing the same three lanes on the far left servicing the same men over and over. I eventually had to walk up to the bar myself to order drinks because no one had come to our lane. Bartender was great and attentive, and took my drink order right away. When I returned, I asked a busser walking by if we could get a waitress and was told, "I'll go find her." She later came back and said she couldn't find her but thought someone else would help us. However, both employees continued taking care of the same lanes and never came over to check on us. Again, I asked the lady that helped us check into our bowling lane if we can please get a waitress to put a food order in with. She never came. I once again had to walk to the bar myself to order more drinks because our child was thirsty and we still had not had anyone come take our order. As I was walking back to our lane with two sodas and a drink in my hands, the same employee that assisted with check us in to bowling asked, "She hasn't come to take your order?" I said no, and she responded, "Oh, sorry," before i walked over to our lane. By that point, we had already been there for an hour and 25 minutes and had received absolutely no service beyond the original waters. Not once, if there was cameras will they see the waitress or waitor make it even close to our lane. Not once did a waitress come to lane 1 to take our order or check if we needed anything. I spoke with the manager and explained everything because our child's experience was ruined. We booked two hours to bowl, have fun, and enjoy a family night, but our child was hungry and by the time anyone finally came over, our bowling time was almost over. The manager offered an appetizer or brownie, but at that point it was too late. This is actually the third time we have had issues receiving any kind of service while booking a bowling lane at this location. I completely understand that busy nights, short staffing, weekends, or holidays can make things difficult, but this was a quiet Wednesday night and the location was not busy. There was no reason we should have been ignored the entire time. I gave this place the benefit of the doubt the first two times, but after the exact same issue happening repeatedly, I can understand why the reviews for this location are so poor. Spending this much money for a family experience and leaving disappointed every single time is extremely frustrating. Unfortunately, we have learned our lesson and will not be returning. read more

Had one of the best waiters ever. Dodger fan with the beard. Was awesome took care of us everywhere went. Had a burger that only Shaquille Oneal could hold with his hands. If you want a smoky flavorful but with a hot sauce. And the thickest bacon in the state of California. Most perfect burger ever. This was my first time to this location. The layout of the restaurant is great, love me a good compartmentalized place. We came in for lunch and were tended to quickly by the waitress. Lots of choices on the menu. Our group of 6 mainly ordered wings, I ordered the blackened pasta and another the kids sliders. First off, portions are MASSIVE! So that's a plus. Everyone seemed to enjoy their wings, I however didn't really care for the pasta. It was very salty. Stopped in to watch a little football and end up having one of the best experiences i've ever had period and i'm going to give all credit to our server nancy period wow, this girl knows her stuff not only were we the there for hours but the place is packed and no one had to ask. For a single thing and she went above and beyond to meet the needs of every person at the table period the food was hot, the wings were great. The beer was cold. The service topped it all my friends. This review is about the service, not the food, because I never had the opportunity to try it. When I arrived, I followed the posted instruction to wait for the hostess to be seated. I waited for a couple of minutes, but despite arriving first, I watched other guests who came in after me get seated before I was acknowledged. I eventually had to approach the hostess myself, and even then she appeared to avoid making eye contact until I spoke to her directly. When I asked to be seated, I felt that she did so with an unfriendly attitude. Unfortunately, my experience didn't improve after being seated. The waitress also came across as dismissive, which made me feel unwelcome. I can't say for certain why I was treated this way, and I don't want to make accusations I can't substantiate. However, being passed over while others who arrived later were seated first left a very negative impression and made me question whether I was being treated differently. Because of this experience, I chose to leave without ordering any food. Based on the customer service I received, I cannot recommend this restaurant. read more

It was quite hard to find a restaurant open late in town that could accommodate a party of 20 so we were glad when we were told over the phone that they are open and not crowded at all. Didn't have such high expectations since I was able to go to their other branch and was not impressed. This branch, however, seems newer and food was definitely better-tasting. The place seems much brighter as well. Serving size was actually good for sharing. I'd say not bad, would probably try this place again for some late-night hangouts. read more

Our assigned waiters decided she wasn't going to serve just our section (primarily Hispanic) she was serving all sections around us. I made contact with her to let her know a couple of times we needed. Service. She acknowledged me but never come by to provide service. Worst customer service ever. Will not patronize that place again. Felt frustrated that people in the next section next to us were we taken care of us. So sad. read more

I was very excited to try this place after hearing good things about it. Unfortunately, the pizza, while not bad, was substandard for the price. Overall, the food was not as tasty as those from similar style places I've tried in the past. It was very busy, making it difficult to go bowling or do other activities. Right from the start the chick at the front had attitude when my friend and I were asking her how much they charge to play with the pool tables. We arrived around 6 pm and did not leave until 11pm. We had a blast! The ambiance was wonderful, I loved it! We did not feel rushed or an inconvenience, and with the music and all the tvs, our group was able to enjoy ourselves and not worry about being too loud because our group could get a little loud ;) Our waiter was great. He was friendly but busy, so we did have to wait at times for him. He had help from a waitress, and I thought they were a great team. The glasses, mason jars, and beer mugs were small, but my girly drinks were $8 each, and each pitcher of beer was $21, so maybe that's why they keep them small. We went Saturday afternoon to bowl. One other family bowling and maybe two tables of people. We were on the 10th frame and only one player to bowl and it stopped. They wouldn't let us pay for the one frame to finish. The girl (who could care less) said we would have to pay and start again. The rudeness was the worse part. We go in, party of 5 ... ask to sit in the area where the games are considering we have kids... the hostess seats us, we wait a bit and I get up and ask if there is a server in this area... an employee walks in (like barely starting shift) and the hostess points that she's our server. I wait a little more and I can see 3 girls behind the hostess station laughing and talking so i get up a 3rd time to ask... and I ask her, if there wasn't a server in this area why did you seat us here, the hostess responds... with an attitude...because you asked to sit there, I respond with and you didn't think to tell us there wasn't a server in this section? Been here before. It's much nicer than the other Firehouse. This time we went here for a family gathering. We had the whole upstairs. It was nice to be away from the rest of the resturaunt. We had an assortment of appetizers and pizza. The pizza was pretty good. Wings were good, potato skins were good. Can't comment about wait times because we had our own dedicated staff. read more

I haven't been to this establishment since it first opened and I see they Still haven't worked out the kinks. We went to celebrate the freshman Spartans football teams big championship win today. I wanted to bowl with the fam. I paid for 4 and got the shoes. I requested for 2 to have the bumpers placed on our lane and they never popped up. It said they should have them on the screen but...nope. I went to the front desk and asked about it and they said the hydraulics were not working, but never did they offer me anything for my trouble or even one of the slide things to help the kids to bowl. When we first got to our lane we spoke to the server for lane 7 and she said she'd be right back to help us. 30 minutes later and still no server. I went to the front desk and asked about the server to which I was told they would send one our way. Another 15 minutes go by and STILL NO SERVER!!! I go back to the front desk and ask politely about the server. Again they tell me they will call her and again...NOTHING after 15 minutes! This time I go to the front desk with a bit of an attitude and ask them WTHeck?!!! They apologize profusely and again tell me they will request her. Finally she shows up. I place my order for an order of fries and a 12" pepperoni pizza. Our fries show up within 15 minutes but it takes a full 30 more minutes before the pizza comes. They do however bring us another side of fries, I guess because of our wait. After everything, I paid a total of $78 for 4 to bowl but I feel like they should have given us a bit of discount due to us not having any bumpers and the time it took for us to order and then receive our food! read more

Firehouse Rosedale Station has great food, plenty of parking spots during busy sporting events, amazing atmosphere inside, and plenty of games to keep adults and kids busy before, during and after their meal. The food was very delicious and highly recommend the Greek Pita Fusion - grilled. Sharlene, my waitress, was very pleasant to talk to, didn't need a ticket or device to jot down the order, and was super attentive to me and her other customers. I am looking forward to my next dine out at this place. 10/10 read more

Today we went in for my daughter to bowl. She has been talking about it all week . She wanted to bowl for her 5th birthday. We got there and they had a party coming in. Went in last night around 6:30. We were the only ones waiting to be seated at first, but the lobby quickly filled up. One guy walked by and said they'd be right with us, but instead spent the next several minutes avoiding us. A group of employees and a manager watched the lobby fill up, but no one bothered assisting anyone. We were finally seated and were greeted by a very nice young lady who took our order. A different young lady brought out our appetizer, and appeared annoyed when we asked for silverware, plates, and napkins. Our server wasn't around much, so there was a lot of waiting for things we had asked for (ranch, refills). The potato skins, mozzarella sticks, fries, and Mac and cheese bites were all good. The pizza was horrible! Sauce had no flavor...seasonings stayed far away from that bad boy. The pasta was seriously over sauced, but the blackened chicken had great flavor. Overall it appears this place is poorly managed by people who don't care if their guests enjoy their experience or not. While there was a manager visible, she never once interacted with a single guest, and did a great job of avoiding people altogether. She did, however, make sure to notify staff that they were out of something over the headset. Priorities I guess. If you're looking for good food and service...go somewhere else. First off we ordered our food and got 2 burger with just cheese and ketchup and one with just ranch and cheese, they brought our food out the first time and the brokers that were supposed to have nothing had everything on them and they had everything on them so we took them to our server named Don and when we took him to her, she had a bit of an attitude, but took it back because I wanted it remade instead of just picking it off. She then brought the burger back out with ranch on it. which I did not ask for. so I asked her to remake him and it then sat again for 10 minutes and when it was brought back out, I took the bun off and they had just attempted to scrape the ranch off, so my dad said something to the server and she took the food once again and then proceeded to tell my dad that me and my sister said how could you be such a stupid bitch that you get a burger wrong twice so when we went to go say something because we very much did not say that she started arguing with us loudly as if I am not a 16-year-old girl and she's a grown woman about in her 40s she then started talking about how her coworker would not lie to her and treating this like some middle school drama and then says my food will be out and she will be closing our tab very trashy very inappropriate and I was here with my nine-year-old sister and her shorts were so short her ass was hanging out very very inappropriate. This is a place for families and I don't think it's appropriate for a server to have short shorts on when they're children around. I come here to usually play pool. I have had hit and miss experiences all the time. Last night was one of them. I had 2 waitresses pass our table 4x and never asked if we needed anything. A manager then walked up and asked if everything was ok and I let her know that we needed drinks. She went to our server and had her come greet us. We ordered some garlic fries and they were really good but cold. The place is really cool but the front end employees can be a little nicer when your spending $ to play pool and tip them. I will say there are some great servers there as well. I will continue to come here and I hope the consistency with service and food gets better. read more
