I have been to this location a handful of times. The concept absolutely blows my mind and excites me. As long as I can remember about five or six years ago seen a news report about fireman starting a sub ranch sandwich lunch truck and then being able to make them into full locations absolutely makes me excited. Firehouse subs is a sandwich chain similar to Quiznos, subway, Jersey mike's, etc. This is located in a very small strip mall next to hiccups. Adequate parking. Firehouse offers a wide variety of subs. From cold to hot sandwiches. I personally prefer hot sandwiches and their options are exceptional! I tried their version of a cheesesteak sub. And it was delicious. Pretty generous amount of meat. Subs averages about $9 can be pricey but it's worth it. The owners/workers here are also very hospitable. Stopped here for lunch the other day. This is a good Firehouse location. Think I got me a Turkey Bacon Sub with all of the topping I wanted on it. Pretty good sandwiches. Really expensive for what I can get anywhere else. Not knocking their sandwiches. Customer service is good here. No problems with my guys here. read more

The bathroom is disgusting. I went in before grabbing a sandwich and there was literally flies everywhere , the urinal had a strong smell and it looked like it has never been cleaned. I almost puked of how nasty it was, it took away my appetite. read more

Wish I could give zero stars!!! Just walked in to order a sandwich and the people working behind the counter literally ignored me. I stood in front of them saying excuse me and they kept talking to each other completely ignoring me. Ultimately I had to walk out and leave to go elsewhere. The way I feel about eating at Firehouse Subs is how I feel when I scratch my back when it itches. This place never disappoints and this location is always on point. I always order through the app and eat it there when I pick it up because nothing is better than eating a nice hot sandwich that's suppose to be eaten hot. Always remember, I REPEAT, Always remember to ask for the Captain Sorensen's Hot Sauce packet. If you're not eating the sandwich with this sauce, you're not living your best life! read more

Actually, I wasn't a big fan of sandwiches, but Firehouse Sub completely changed me to sandwich lover. This is a best sandwich restaurant I ever seen in my life. Today was already my fourth time visit less than a week, and I think I can eat here everyday. I also signed up for Firehouse Subs' reward program membership, and started to earn points. I always get a Club On A Sub, and it is absolutely outstanding. It contains smoked turkey breast, Virginia honey ham, pepper bacon, melted Monterey Jack, and vegetables. All ingredients are fresh. My favorite thing about the sandwich is the bread. The bread is tosted, but it is as soft as milk. Their sandwiches are expensive, but I think it is worth it. Inside of the restaurant is really clean, and the staffs are attentive. There is absolutely nothing to complain about this place. I am definitely coming back very soon. read more

Great place. I am allergic to Gluten. They have gluten free bread it was great. However it only comes in a small size so you have to buy 2 sandwich's to get one large one. 2 pastramis were 17.00 each. 34.00 total for two Very high price for one large sandwich read more

Never had Firehouse subs before, thought id give it a try. I ordered the firehouse sub, a large drink and opted for the "garlic bread" choice, (which isnt bread its just a paste or something that they put on the bread) even though it was extra. Got the order to, checked it in the car and it looks like they just put the whole sub upside down. All the cheese, the marinara sauce and garlic sauce were all stuck to the card board box they put it in. For a meal that was $20 and some change... for just a sandwich and drink, you would at least think they would put the sandwich in correctly. The food itself wasnt better than most sandwiches, and for the price, i could have got a bit more from jersey mikes or even subway. read more

What is going on with you guys tonight? Employees had their masks off before I entered the store. Talk about getting COVID all over the food. This place is usually pretty good but tonight was a disaster. I ordered my usual, a large club on a sub and today my order came out very quick. Suspiciously quick. I drive back to work to eat and I immediately notice that my sandwich just felt different. I opened it up and my SANDWICH IS MISSING 1/2 the CONTENTS. NO CHEESE NO BACON. JUST A LOT OF MAYO. ALSO NO PICKLE. Bread is somehow SOGGY for a toasted sandwich. ALSO FOUND A NASTY HAIR. It is definitely not mine, I keeps it buzzed. By the time I wanted to turn back to make a complaint about the sandwich I ordered at 8:30pm, the restaurant is closed. I am typing this as I eat this miserable soggy mess. I have always heard good things about this place and was excited about having one in Anaheim. They greeted me right when I came in and the lady was very helpful. she was telling us about her favorite subs and the popular ones. Easy process you could either choose one from the menu or create your own. The subs and salad taste very fresh and delicious. We ordered our food online through the website, and went in to pick up the food. We got back home, and the Mac and cheese was missing from our order. We called to get a refund, and Alejandro told us that we couldn't get a refund unless we went back in person. I don't understand why we are required to go back for a mistake that the workers made on our order. Very poor customer service. Finally open! This place is delicious and I can say I prefer it over Subway. You get a nice welcome greeting when walking in by everyone. Loved that. The spot looked rather busy on a Thursday evening but we got our order faster than I thought we would. Table service for the win! I ordered the Turkey Bacon Ranch sub in a small and my boyfriend ordered the meatball in a medium. The small was about 6 inches while the medium was around 8 to 10 inches. The small was perfect for me since I also got chips. I don't eat too much though. Id say go with a medium or large combo if you are hungry like a mofo. Ah...the TBR sub was sooooooooo tasty and delicious. It's melting cheeses in between meat was just mouthwatering after every bite. I swear I could've eaten at least a medium. I took a bite out of the meatball one and that was bomb.com too. Everything tasted fresh and I'm pretty sure cooked to order. I totally recommend trying this spot out! I cannot say enough about firehouse subs! They're sandwiches are just amazing! Best sub place I've been to. And I've tried a lot on the menu and every sandwich has been amazing. Some of my favorites are the hook and ladder, the turkey bacon ranch, and the smokehouse beef and cheddar brisket. It starts with the fresh bread, and all the ingredients inside are so fresh. Yes it's pricey. At least $11-$12 for a large sub. But it's worth it. And they load their sandwiches with the meat - I'm full after eating 1/2 of a large, and I save the second half for the next day. So in my opinion, totally worth it! Soda machine is great too - I love that they have the flavored Sprites like peach. Definitely a perk when you get a combo. I usually don't have a problem finding parking here- there's usually at least a few spaces open even during peak meal times. read more

Seriously. This place is the worst. We came in waiting for a to-go order. We waited almost 20minutes. Then the person that came in after us was served. I went up to ask and our order was on f$& king top of their oven. She handed it to us again WITHOUT saying anything. You looked at us. Didn't help. Didn't even acknowledge us when we walked in. Apparently they don't both putting the food on the TOGO ORDER SECTION in their own store. I go their at least 3 times a week. Literally never again. read more

My wife and I picked up 2 Italian subs today and we are very pleased with: * cleanliness of the store * super friendly customer service * quickness of preparation * look and taste of the food The person that took the order was really good at explaining all the options when I ordered the food and we were really happy with the taste of the food. Went for lunch here today. It was spotlessly clean inside. I'm impressed with the decor then if this chain since the founders are all ex firemen. I got the 6 inch Jamaican Jerk Turkey in wheat bread and a small side of chili. the sandwich was pretty good but they out quite a bit of Mayo in it and there wasn't many meat in there. Went to see what this place was about so we shared a meatball sub. I was so mad we shared it, this was the best meatball sub I ever had. The meatballs were very fluffy very tender not hard over worked meat. I recently learned the mistake we all make is over working the meat...treat it like biscuit dough the less kneading the better. Saw this place when we accidently went to the taco place a few doors down in the wrong city lol. We have one in Fullerton but mapped out to go to the Anahiem location instead since it was closer only to see this place next door. Although it wasnt too busy...walking inside its different. The whole firehouse theme looks fun and inviting especially for families with small children. There was a variety of options to choose from so I just went with what my husband and I both liked. Hook & Ladder: I think that's what mine was called. I ordered this because it came with turkey breast. Ordered a Large. Assuming its a foot long size from subway but boy was I wrong. Half of this sandwich was actually enough for me. Super filling and I love how every bite I took...it was super soft. Unlike most sub places...even though its stuffed with deli meat its usually a bit harder and chunkier to eat. But this sub on the other hand was super soft and extremely filling. Note to self..order a medium size next time because Sandwich vs me...the sub beat me lol Not exactly sure what I ordered my husband. His had brisket in it which I knew he would like. he said it was pretty flavorful but somewhat more on the sweet side due to the bbq sauce. In his words...less sauce would have been better because it was a tad bit too overwhelming for him. I haven't had a good sub since moving to southern California so its nice to find something delicious near home so I don't have to crave me my go to 'Little Lucas' up north. Growing up in a family that is both entrepreneurial and built on more than 200 years of firefighting heritage, it seems we were destined to start Firehouse Subs. Of course we tried other things along the way to our American dream, but everything we experienced on our path led us to Firehouse Subs. Over 20 years after opening the first restaurant, with over 1,100 Firehouse Subs restaurants, we're convinced we're doing a few things right. Don't bother! I placed an order online, only to be told that because I redeemed points that I would need to purchase something else in store in order for them to even begin preparing my order. I was not prompted to do so online. The owner is the one who told me this. He said the firehouse website was not working correctly and that he had been working with corporate to get it fixed. Because I declined to purchase anything else, he told me that he was not going to continue going back and forth with me. He declined to fill my order, and to refund my points. He was rude from the moment I walked in. He came from behind the counter, and kept asking to see my phone and requesting my email. No thank you! Now, I am out of points until corporate fixes this. I would not recommend this location. The owner is aggressive, and customer service does not exist. read more

Stopped by today for the third time this week! Every time I come in I am greeted with a warm welcome. I ordered the meatball to go. I was a bit sceptical about this since it does have marinara sauce in it. Surprisingly when I got home the meatball sub was still perfect and no soggy like I was expecting. Firehouse is always great, but not this one whoever the bald man is (my guess is the manager or owners husband) is on a real power trip or something the way he treats the employees is horrible seems like they are scared to ask questions to him because he answers in a ugly attitude and keeps barking at his employees about every little thing they do. that is not a way to run a business or HOW YOU TREAT EMPLOYEES! We ordered sandwiches to take away. My other half was not allowed to go in as I knew he would be reluctant as they are not the cheapest but wow worth every penny. One of the female employees touched her hat with both hands, using that same two hands to grab the burger buns and patties to throw it on the grill WITHOUT GLOVES. What she should be doing is going to the hand wash station before returning to the grill to touch other people's food. It made me sick to my stomach after I had dinner there 8/21 @ 7pm. Hygiene needs to be practiced strictly in their kitchen. I'll be going to a different Fatburger location after this experience.

So I only go out of my way to get there if they have some sort of specials, or have some decent offers or coupons available for their customers to use in their App. An offer they have quite often is a BOGO (buy one get one free) sandwich deal. Many of us are familiar with the saying, "Fool me once, bad on you! Fool me twice, bad on me!" Well, I stupidly fell for it three times! Here is the issue. You select the offer in the App. It asks for your first sandwich choice. Then it asks for the second sandwich choice. You go to pay, and it charges you full price for both sandwiches, and there is absolutely no way to cancel the order. The store claims they can't cancel it or do anything about it. The App provides no way to cancel. The email they send you confirming and thanking you for your order provides no way to cancel. And they refuse to answer emails. I've send at least 5, and no responses at all!!! ARBY'S! You owe my at least $35 The reason it happened three times to me is that the first time was many months ago, and I just forgot about it since I go there so rarely. The second time I thought I must have done something wrong in the App. I figured I wasn't paying full attention, and missed something. But was still furious that I couldn't cancel the bogus thieving order. And I then remembered the first time thinking the same thing. The third time I remembered, but I made damn sure I did everything correctly. I paid full attention during the whole order process to make sure it wasn't me. I mean, it knows you picked the BOGO offer because it specifically asks you to pick the first and second sandwich. So it knows you are using that offer. And on the next screen it even showed me the two sandwiches I chose, and one had a zero cost to it. And it showed the BOGO offer there also. Then you pay, and again, both sandwiches were charged full price!!! And this has been going on for many MONTHS, if not years!!! So that proves these a-holes are doing this on purpose! Even more since they do not answer emails complaining about the problem!

As part of this revamping process, TOGO'S migrated their rewards system to a different platform, and if you successfully migrated your account over, you get a $2 off reward that is valid for 2 weeks. My $2 off reward was going to expire in 2 days, and I was planning a quick trip to the area to visit a couple other businesses in the same intersection, both of which had offers that were going to expire the same day or the following day as well. I normally wouldn't go this far for a TOGO, but was definitely willing to make an exception this time around. This TOGO'S in Cypress is located on the southwest corner of Katella and Knott. The dining space inside is quite ample, much larger than the Long Beach location I must say! There was a large family sitting in the far corner on the left hand side, but towards the right, there was an employee, Logan, who was ready to assist me. As I was looking at the menu, I didn't like how the menu was kind of scrambled around. What do I mean by this? So I was intending to get a mini 3" sandwich to redeem my $2 off since percentage wise, that'd be really good savings there. The right side of the menu specifies the sandwiches that can be made miniature, but the sandwiches are denoted by their assigned numbers. The numbered sandwiches aren't in any particular order, so without Logan's help, I would have had to bounce back and forth between different sides of the menu to understand which sandwiches come in a 3" size, and for how much? Such a cumbersome way to present that part of the menu that I really wish TOGO'S would consider reformatting the menu for ease of readability. But I'm starting to digress. Logan did help me out by specifying the four mini sandwiches that I was initially looking at. I thought about the #3 Turkey and Cheddar, but once he told me the #20 was Albacore Tuna, I decided to go with that. Tuna sandwich for less than $4? Count me in! Logan asked me a couple questions: What type of bread, and would I like all the produce? Since I'm trying to get more whole grains and vegetables in my diet, I said whole wheat and yes, respectively, to his questions. However, Logan was trying pretty hard to sell me on a kids meal, which also comes with chips and a bottled water, despite me not being a kid, except maybe at heart lol. I did ask him how much a Kids Meal was, and he had to go to the register to look it up. It was a couple dollars more than a mini Albacore Tuna sandwich, but since I was planning to get food at a neighboring eatery, I passed on the kids meal and settled for the mini sandwich. While Logan was crafting my sandwich, he asked his co-worker, or maybe supervisor, Brian, to ring me up. After scanning my QR code for the migration offer, the $2 came off, no problem, and I paid. Shortly after I paid, Logan had my sandwich ready in a takeout bag. I asked for a water cup, and he gave me one, no problem as well. I took the sandwich and water cup to a table by the window to enjoy, but the first thing I noticed was a small piece of bread stuck to the outside of the wrapper?! Well, not so great presentation up front, but after unwrapping the sandwich, I found the #20 Albacore Tuna to be quite good! Unfortunately, it seemed Logan missed a few of the vegetables like the olives, jalapenos, and the cucumbers, which you can request in the TOGO'S app. Kind of disappointing, especially since he asked if I'd like all the vegetables before crafting my sandwich, but I suppose for those three in particular, you have to proactively ask? Nevertheless, I enjoyed the tuna in this sandwich, and there was still a good helping of vegetables in the sandwich otherwise. However, $5.75 for a mini is still kind of steep for such a small, but mighty, sandwich. Like I said earlier in the review, there are plenty of tables for customers to sit at, so unless an entire baseball team and their parents are there to celebrate a big W on the field, I doubt you'd see a full house in this TOGO'S. Overall, TOGO'S is still a good solid spot for sandwiches even if they're a little pricier than Jersey Mike's or Subway, but they do stuff the sandos with good quality ingredients! Also, despite the hard, but rather unsuccessful selling job, Logan was still a pretty cool employee to do business with.
