We stopped in on the way to a show and got a colossal burger and a blue cheese bacon burger. First time ever seeing a bacon blue burger at a charbroiler, so I had to try it. I was really disappointed in the gyro as it was one of my favorites from them. I guess I will have to eat something else off their menu now. Paul's Place is a hidden gem in Anaheim. Tasty, generous portions, and something for everyone. I ordered a Colossal Burger, which was no exaggeration or hyperbole. I haven't seen a burger with so much pastrami. The fish sandwich was also bountiful; two ample, moist, flakey, and crispy pieces of fish that were not unlike what you would expect when ordering fish and chips. No square fish patties here! The onion rings were crispy and cooked right. The entire onion didn't pull out of the crunchy batter after you took a bite. Just perfect bites. It was all delicious and reasonably priced.
