This is a great Firehouse. They really take their time making their subs and load them up with fillings. Tracy was also absolutely delightful with how nice and hospitable she was. The location was also very clean and well maintained.

I was not really familiar with this sandwich spot until recently. I'm completely hooked! Bread is nice and fresh and the sandwiches are hot! Customer service was very friendly at this location. I will be a regular since this is right across the street from my office.

Just... dude... amazing. First time in and from customer service to cleanliness of the restaurant and THE FOOD.. you guys are awesome. Thank you! And THANK YOU for giving my little boy a fireman hat. The b from hell next door didn't even acknowledge my little love.. or our existence for that matter. Seriously, thank you on so many levels.

I have always liked Firehouse Subs and supported their mission to supporting First Responders with every purchase. This is location in particular is a little bit wonky as the entrance is in the back side of the building. I first pulled in and try the front door but realize that everything is actually at the back. I went to lunch time so service was as expected. A small Wait but not significant. I went for the brisket and a ship combo with drinks and that ran me around 12 and a half dollars. It's a little expensive but the whole point is to support First Responders. What's up was good as always and there's a decent seating area outside if you don't mind the noise from Kyrene and Chandler.

Walking into the store, the first 2 things you notice is that it is busy!, and the heavenly smell of fresh baked sourdough. The staff is extremely nice and patient, willing to answer questions if you have any. There is indoor seating and outdoor seating, even though there is a lot of tables it is definitely not enough during lunch time. I ordered a 6 inch frensh dip and their bowl of clam chowder, all to go. Driving home with my to go order was torture! My entire car smelled like bread that just came out of the oven!!! The French dip was delicious! The shop provides a giant cup of Au Jus with the sandwhich, there is no way you are going to use it all! The sandwhich was well belanced with the meat and cheese, and the flavors were a great combination. The sourdough bread was perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Definitely recommend checking out this sandwhich. The bowl of clam chowder is the reason I know I will be consistently coming back to this shop. As a clam chowder snob, I am obsessed! The portions of ingredients were great, not too many of one ingredient. The soup was creamy but not thick like glue, great consistency! The cut sizes for the potato and clams were great and you could easily see the clams in the soup. It was phenomenal!!! I beyond recommend checking out Sourdough & Co.

Mahfam recommended a different cheese for us to try and it was excellent so we got half a pound. Hubby ended up loving her recommendation even more than the other two. Mahfam knows her cheese! They also offer gourmet charcuterie boards plus sandwiches and salads. This is just a very cool little place to discover new cheeses, and gourmet goodies and leave with something you didn't know you needed. We'll definitely be back to work our way through more of the cheese selection.

Price and quality did not match…read more I ordered the pastrami sandwich and immediately noticed some cost cutting choices, like butter flavored spray (can we use real butter) US Foods/Chef's Store sourdough bread, (can we use real sourdough bread) and a microwave sitting next to the griddle (which the griddle looks like it has not been cleaned very often). I didn't think much of it at first, but then I watched the owner heat the pastrami in the microwave before assembling the sandwich. I've never had a deli sandwich prepared that way right in front of me, and it was disappointing. She also pulled out a large bag of Taylor Farms shredded lettuce. I asked for no lettuce, and she joked that "people don't want lettuce anymore." Given the recent news surrounding Taylor Farms, that comment didn't exactly inspire confidence. What really surprised me was that the pastrami was placed in a plastic basket and microwaved. Whether or not it's considered safe, seeing food heated that way wasn't very appetizing. Looking around, there also didn't appear to be any real kitchen equipment for preparing hot sandwiches beyond a microwave. A Blackstone griddle or even a quality countertop oven would have inspired much more confidence in the food, especially considering the owner's Yelp responses emphasizing the quality of their sandwiches. From what I experienced, the preparation didn't match those claims. In the end, we ordered just one pastrami sandwich and one beer, and the total came to about $25, with the sandwich alone costing over $17. For that price, I expected much better ingredients and preparation. Unfortunately, the quality didn't match the cost. We tried to be as nice as possible but we left feeling pretty disappointed and couldn't wait to get out of there.

For a casual diner-style restaurant, the food is very good, the portions are incredibly generous, and the service has always been friendly and accommodating. On our most recent visit, my dad ordered liver and onions, and when it didn't come out prepared quite right, they happily remade it for him without hesitation. That kind of service really makes an impression. I had a burger that was absolutely delicious, and my mother ordered the Asian chicken salad, which was fabulous. My burger also came with a free piece of cherry pie as part of their 250th United States celebration meal, and unfortunately for my waistline, that cherry pie was AMAZING! I'm already looking forward to going back just so I can have another piece. I also love the New York-style deli atmosphere and decor inside. Back then,…read moretheir menu wasn't online, so I snapped a photo and posted it with my first review, and I've been a loyal fan ever since. From the outside, this place might not scream "life-changing sandwich," but the moment you take your first bite, you'll know you're somewhere special. The food is outstanding, flavorful, generous, and made with love. It's the kind of food that makes East Coasters feel like they're back home and locals feel like they just discovered their new favorite spot. But it's not just the food, it's the people. The warmth and kindness of this family-run business make it stand out even more. Rita, Sarah, and Jacob always greet me with genuine smiles, and even after we moved away from Arizona in 2023 and returned two years later, they remembered my name like no time had passed. (They still tease my husband for forgetting his, all in good fun!) Megan was the first person we met when we came in all those years ago, and she instantly made us feel welcome. She's amazing. Although she is now a successful realtor and no longer working in the shop, the heart of the business she helped build is still the same. It is all about family, flavor, and fantastic service. I'll also say this. In a time when others have tried to imitate what this family built, this original spot continues to shine. Their integrity, quality, and kindness speak louder than anything else ever could. Pro tip: Preorder if you can. They get busy because they're just that good. Support real local businesses. Support real people. And most of all, treat yourself to one of the best meals you'll have in the Valley.
