We were here for a conference and we realized very quickly. This hotel was a waste land for food. But a quick and casual option thank goodness we found on the first day was Fat Burger! Yes, I listened to Ice Cubes song in the 1990's named "Good Day." He talks about fat burger and I've eaten it many times over the years. But this location you can get 1/2, 1 and 1 1/2 pound burgers that are so hot and fresh. We grabbed food here 3 times over the weekend. Quick, easy, cheap and delicious. Food: - Large Meal ($14). -- I heard about Fatburger, but never tried it. The Large Fatburger (1/2 lb) with all "The Works". The burger was nothing special. It's better than McDonald's, Wendy's, or BK--but not as good as In-and-Out or 5 Guys. -- Fat Fries are also okay. I little limp, but they do give you a HUGE portion! -- Drink. Meh. Drinks are drinks. Every so often I need to do something out of character. Going to a casino and having a Double Fatburger seemed weird enough for a Friday afternoon. LOL One of my coworkers owed me a lunch, so I suggested coming here to collect. Since I wasn't paying, I found my Double Fatburger to be delicious. As my SoCal Yelp friend Rohlin A. says: "The food always tastes better, when someone else is paying." And, the burger wasn't as greasy as some my past experiences, just good ole cooked red meat. Very good, everything was consistent with Fatburger food that we have had before in other locations. Onion rings are one of those foods that indicate the rest of the menu for me and they were really good! Good service. Cleaning person was Johnny on the spot! In a really clean and pretty casino. We used to go to Fatburger all the time and then they closed the location in Gilbert. My daughter looked then up and we found the one at Wild Horse Pass so we had to go just for old times sake! Needless to say it was exactly as we remembered. Their shakes are AMAZING, we got the strawberry and maui banana. Now I'm not a big banana fan but I have to say that their banana shake is really really good, so creamy and yummy. We all got burgers with Fry's, onion rings and sweet potato Fry's. The onion rings were ok, the sweet potato Fry's were so friggin good I almost didn't eat my burger and the skinny Fry's were delish! Only part I didn't like...the price! $45 for 3 meals and 3 shakes but since it was for nostalgia sake I'll chalk it up to a memory...for burgers a Fry's. Worse experience my family and I have had! There were 9 of us so of course this was a pricey meal. I requested grilled onions, and my mother requested an egg in hers. We got our meal, we're happy, excited, hungry! It was challenging to decipher who's meal was whose. Mine was marked "Grilled onions" but there were none. My mothers was marked "egg", but there was none!! She gets in line, let's them know, and the cooks start to argue- literally yelling at my mother saying that they put the egg in there!! They need to change their name to slow burger. It took 20 minutes to get our food and they forgot our shakes. Then it took another 10 minutes to get the shakes. They were stingy with the mayo on the burger, and did not serve the food in the order that it was placed.
