Staff was polite and efficient. Ordered the "hook and ladder". Enjoyed the flavor, and ample portion. I like that the chain donates to public safety organizations too.

First ever visit at this location and the first of any Firehouse in many years. Came here for a late lunch with my husband. I got a medium Sweet and Spicy Meatball and it was perfection! Burned my lip a bit because I couldn't wait to dig in. Ha! I definitely look forward to enjoying this again. Also - everyone was truly friendly and service was super fast.

This is what is "acceptable" to deliver from firehouse subs through Postmates...soggy bread with finger prints in it and bad lettuce.

Seriously Firehouse subs, whose making your postmate subs for delivery? Chimpanzees? This is absolutely disgusting. 22 minutes for delivery was completely fine by me but broken and ripped soggy bread with lettuce that had already g bad on it...very disappointed. I want my money back.

I should've followed my instincts and went by what the reviews said, this whole experience was trash . The customer service could've been better , lady at the register seemed like she didn't even want to be there and got my order wrong . Fine , that's not even my issue . Let's talk about the dry ass sandwich which I was given . Just Terrible

Among numerous other problems with our order, my daughter's brownie was literally rock hard. She tried to bite it and got hurt.

My family are big fans of Firehouse Subs. Unfortunately, this location has got to be one of the worst if not the worst Firehouse Subs we've ever been to. We came on Tuesday night, and had some problems with the food that we took home. I tried calling on the phone a few times and never got an answer. Today I went in and tried to talk to the owner or manager, not sure which one he is. He refused to talk to me. Although it's not my first time being here, this is my first check in to this place on Yelp and it will definitely be my last. If you want to have Firehouse Subs, go to the one on Indian River Rd. they understand customer service.

Want a great sandwich? This is where you can get one. I've had a hit and miss experience with FH Subs at another location and had pretty much written them off because of it. However a friend convinced me to give them one more try and I picked this location as it was close to work. The Sandwich? I had the one called 'The Steamer'. Yes I know, with a name like that there's some serious potential for a dirty joke here.... :) All that aside, this was an excellent sandwich. It comes with Corned Beef Brisket and Pastrami with melted Provolone. Then Mayo, Mustard and Italian Dressing on your choice of Wheat or White bread. This sandwich is the bomb! The staff was excellent and the restaurant was impeccably clean. Kudo's to FH for an excellent experience and I'll definitely return.

    Hot sauce anyone?

Very slow service, and quiet pricey for how much you are actually given. One person working the register, and making sandwiches at 115pm on a weekday? Spending $18 for just 2 subs? $18 can get you MUCH MORE food for your money than in here.

This was a Great place to grab a Sub today! Wonderful customer service, very clean, and fresh food. I read in a previous comment there were flies and nasty stuff by the meat. I didn't observe this area so I can't comment in reference to that. I did notice a gentlemen cleaning the entire time my family and I were there (walls, baseboards, sweeping,etc.). The only thing I didn't like is he began sweeping near me while I was eating (he moved quickly though). I loved my free birthday Sub I had to download the app to utilize the promotion for the free sub, but it was quick and easy! They also had a sign on the door hiring so maybe more good changes are to come. My son also said please add just jalapeño chips because he didn't like/want jalapeño cheddar GREAT FOOD though

I know bacon, sausage, ham, (and Taylor Ham if you're from Jersey like me) are the standard breakfast sandwich meats, but try the pastrami! Poppy bagel, 2 eggs included, cheese, and some pastrami brings back my east coast state of mind. The midtown sandwich is also a great option. I know a lot of Southerners don't care for the greatness of a bagel, they prefer their biscuits and that's all well and good. But wow, NYBC does a wonderful job of representing the area where I grew up.

She gave me the run down on the stuffed French toast, so I just had to have it. It was seriously delicious! It might just be up there with the Empire State for me. Their Pastrami is just that good. As for the Fire Island, it's perfect for you if you like a kick. The chicken was moist and flavorful. Everything worked well on the sandwich, it can just be a much for breakfast sometimes. Though, you are allowed to make you needed modifications. Maybe a different bagel would lighten things a bit. Overall, this is a much try for Chesapeake. It provides a cute, calm spot to grab something to go or dine in if you are up for it.

The smell drew me in the first time while visiting Lowe's and so glad I took a chance. A line is always a good sign that there are likely regulars and that spells something good is going on. The menu is posted on the outside and is simple fair type with burgers, sausages & cheesesteaks. The one young guy running the grille was friendly and recommended the cheesesteaks which I gotta say as a lover was suspicious. However I was willing to risk it on the off chance this food stand in a parking lot could actually deliver a fabulous steak. The price was affordable for a footling around $10 and added a bottle water and tip came to $13+ The cheesesteak was completed in around 8 minutes wrapped up and in a bag with napkins. I popped it open in the car and was amazed at the pure size and amount of meat. The smell was glorious with steam waffling above. The bread was fresh and authentic to Philly. The only thing left was a bite and it did not disappoint one bit, just wowzers! It was good enough to return prior to writing a review. It ended up being a carbon copy of my success with another incredibly delicious cheesesteak. This time I used a nearby picnic table to enjoy. This is a chain food stand. The owner has two located at Lowe's in Chesapeake and Virginia Beach on Holland Rd. If you love cheesesteaks then Dominic's delivers a masterpiece and you will not be disappointed. A 4.5 rounding up and later learned Yelp friend Terry was a super fan of their steaks which was cool. Don't forget to pick up a punch card when you buy 6 your 7th is FREE!
