Picked up some sandwiches for lunch. I love their Italian sub. It's always delicious. Service was quick, got in and out of there in a few minutes. Place was clean and busy. Always a good experience here.

Out of all the chain sandwich shops throughout the U.S., Firehouse has been my favorite for over a decade. This review is based on food, service, cleanliness, atmosphere, and value. The food is always the same. Delicious every time. What I like most is their sandwiches are not too breaddy, like some sandwich shops. They are generous with the meat, and that is the key for a delicious sandwich, IMO. The service here stood out. I was greeted, there was polite conversation, and he even went above and beyond to ensure my points were rewarded. Truly good customer service. The dining area was very clean. The drink station was spotless, and that's where most places lack in cleaning. The atmosphere is average for a Firehouse/sandwich shop. The value is okay. Some sandwiches are pricey, but I keep coming back. If they were more affordable, I'd eat here more often. A portion of their profits support emergency responders via the public safety foundation, where the help procure lifesaving equipment.

Right when you pull up you can tell how good the food will be. Walking in with a nice decorating and a nice scent of warmness and juicy meat.Picking out a flavor of chips right to the counter.Served fast and quick while somehow managing the food to be scrumptious AND warm still rather sitting in your car or inside. They handle costumers kindly with no doubt to make ones day.The time for them to close was coming they were not being rude in any ways with attitude or rudeness surprised of this. There building, and bathroom is fresh and clean seen of 0(no) crumbs anywhere to be found.Cautious of cleanliness. Thanks to you!!

This place is OK. To me they're all the same (not in taste but in my enthusiasm towards them). Subway..Quizno,..firehouse..JimmyJohns..etc. One thing that made this chain stand out to me was the personality of the staff members. I got greeted with a good amount of "hi and hellos" as I walked into the door. I saw staff members walking around asking people how they were doing. They also have a wall of over 30 sauces that you can add to your sandwich which makes this place a little more unique in the sea of sandwich fast food shops. Also, they had TVs on with the football games and the cool modern mix it soda machines.

Meatball Sub - looks much better than it tastes.

Finally got around to trying Firehouse - it's decent but I am not going to rush back anytime soon. I tried the Smokehouse brisket cheddar and the New York steamer. The smokehouse brisket and cheddar is just your basic thinly sliced beef with bbq and cheese - not very impressive. The New York steamer with corned beef and pastrami was pretty good . Like I said these sandwiches are fine and definitely a cut above Pepperjax but nothing earth shattering here.

Amazing food! I usually get the turkey on wheat with no cheese or mayo. Not sure how I like the new management

Closed early. Claimed they ran out of food while conveniently out on a smoke break. Drove miles to get there before 9pm to hear that junk.

Great sandwiches and location. It does take quite a long time to get your sandwich though, so I wouldn't recommend it if you're in a hurry.

We were seated right away, and it was a perfect day to sit outside. The hostess let us know they had workers outside, but we were totally okay with the noise, which ended up being very minimal. We didn't order any drinks, but for food, I decided to try the birria grilled cheese, which comes with one side, and I chose fries. Not only did it look so appetizing, but it tasted AMAZING. The bread had some sort of seasoning on it that added so much flavor to the sandwich. The fries were seasoned exceptionally well too. I'll definitely be back sometime soon to try more items. The food today was 10/10, and our waitress was very kind and attentive as well.

The food had a…read morelot of promise, though a few dishes felt like they were just slightly off from being great. I had the Cubano sandwich, which was good overall, especially the smoky meat, but I think the coarse-ground mustard overpowered the flavours a bit and dulled the smokiness a bit. A plain yellow mustard might balance the sandwich better and let the smokiness shine through more. The sweet potato fries, however, were excellent. My wife Laura ordered Emily's Salad, which was pleasant and fresh, though we both thought it could have benefited from a little crunch--maybe some seeds or nuts added in. Our daughter Alex had the birria tacos and carne asada fries. The tacos were tasty, though a little on the small side, but the carne asada fries were fantastic. Umai! (I am a Rengoku fan; if you know, you know.) I highly recommend it. Our other daughter, Sam, ordered the birria grilled cheese and elote fries, and both were really good. Her cherryade was especially refreshing. The atmosphere was quiet and relaxed, though the dining area and patio felt a bit bare. A few plants outside and inside would really warm the place up and give it more character. The music was pretty good with indie hits in there. I also tried the Old Fashioned. It was definitely strong, which I appreciated, but it felt like it was missing a touch of sweetness or something to round it out. Overall, we enjoyed ourselves, and I'd absolutely go back and try more on the menu. Their waitstaff was top-notch and really were on their game. The restaurant has good ingredients and solid ideas--it just feels like a few flavour balances could be dialed in a little more.

The woman working behind the bar who helped me was incredibly courteous and friendly, which I really appreciated. While I was waiting, I saw several tenderloin sandwiches being served to dine-in customers, and they looked absolutely amazing. Unfortunately, our food was only average. We ordered the chicken fried chicken and the nachos. The homemade tortilla chips had good flavor, but they were extremely greasy. The biggest disappointment was that part of our takeout order was missing. That's partly on me for not checking before I left, but it was still frustrating. Overall, the combination of the long wait, average food, and incomplete order left us with a disappointing experience. I just didn't get a good feeling from the place, and based on this visit, I wouldn't recommend it to a friend.
