Although a helpful tip from the cashier is that you can order any cold sandwich hot. We had the Lucky Luciano (hot) and the Sophia (cold). Both were really good--it was hard to choose between the two. But if I'm being honest, that cold sandwich was reminiscent of subs I loved in the early 2000s from places that no longer exist...with that super thinly sliced turkey, thick slice of Swiss cheese, and basil mayo--it really hit the spot. We also had a cannolo--not as good as others I've had. The bottled root beer was delightful. The Lucky Luciano was the kind of sandwich I came here for, and don't get me wrong, it is deliciously cheesy and will make your hands messy. But the Sophia is the kind of sandwich I'll be craving. Usually it's smooth and creamy, so that was a little disappointing--but it's free, and I still appreciate that they offer it. For my soup, I chose the seafood gumbo. It had six or seven shrimp in it, which really surprised me, and it was very flavorful. The large supposedly had twice the calories as the regular, so you would think that it would be about twice the amount of food, but unfortunately it's not. I would estimate that it's about 50 percent the amount, and it sits at $15. I wouldn't recommend getting the large to get a better deal unless you're hungry! This could be just this location sandwich makers, but it's been consistent since I've been going.
