Absolutely terrible. They are 2 for 2 on messing up my order. I walked in and asked for a roast beef sandwich with provolone on white bread. I received a turkey sandwich with 2 slices of roast beef on wheat bread.... I am thoroughly disappointed with my experiences here. $20 for a sandwich that is nothing like what I wanted / ordered. It's been a while since I've been to a Firehouse Subs. I didn't realize there was one near my work. I've been here like 3 times now and I've tried a couple of their different subs. It's very good. Service is fast and friendly. But each time I get my food to go they don't give me a bag for my chips and sandwich. I guess they're trying to save on plastic/paper bags. First time visiting and was so looking forward to trying firehouse. I was not as impressed as I'd hoped to be. The restaurant itself is really nice for a sandwich shop. It's decorated with loads of fireman gear and decor. Really clean and tidy. Loved that. The service was good as well. Staff is knowledgeable and friendly. We ordered a pastrami sandwich with chips and a drink and a steak and cheese with loaded potato soup. The sandwiches were tasty but lacked filling. A lot of bread a little meat and veggies. This a sandwich does not make. The potato soup was horrible. It had a bitter/tangy taste. Almost sour like it had gone bad. I had to return it and get chips which were a safer choice. Their ice tea was delicious and they have loads of drink choices which is nice. Don't know if for the price we paid which was $34 for a small and med sandwich with chips and a drink, we will return. I have been here twice and won't be back again. Tried to order a build your own sub, which is on the menu. The lady helping said "oh you want this one minus these ingredients" fair enough that was pretty much correct but I felt this hurry up and order vibe when there was no one waiting behind me in line at all. I didn't want a hot sub which is what I was trying to say but I just felt like I was rushed along. When my sub was wrong the gentleman that made it was very kind and told me to just tell her or the manager and "most likely" they would remake it. At the point I just paid $19 for a sandwich and was rushed through the process. I told him it's all good and went home and gave it to my daughter and husband to eat. Okay, I'm OBSESSED. Firehouse Subs has completely ruined other meatball subs for me because NOTHING compares. I always get the meatball sub with garlic bread (I think it's called the Pepperoni Pizza Meatball or something close?) and it's literally life-changing. I was out running errands today and hungry, driving down Warner I saw Firehouse Subs in the Ross shopping center and I am really glad I decided to pull in there and give it a try. I ordered the spicy Cajun chicken sandwich and it was off the hook delicious. I chose the honey wheat bun and it was perfectly toasted. The chicken was tender (I don't eat a whole lof of meat but needed protein today. Chicken usually doesn't sound good but it looked good on the picture and I was pleasantly surprised by how tasty it was. Perfectly tender) The sauce was spicy and a perfect amount mixed in with the chicken.. the whole sandwich was well put together and super tasty. I also appreciated that the lettuce didn't have that bleachy chemical taste that most sandwich places serve. Fresh clean lettuce is so hard to find and made me an instant fan. I will definitely be back. They have a lot of sandwiches to choose from and really interesting sauces. I have heard great things about Firehouse Subs by my hairstylist since it is in the same plaza as the salon I go to. She suggested me to download the app and place a pickup order on there, however the app was lagging and not working at the time. Then I found out that I could place a pickup order through Yelp. Yelp is partnered with Grubhub to provide delivery and pick-up. I ordered my food for pickup and when I arrived the girl said the ticket did not show up yet, which I thought it was strange since it said that it was ready for pick-up on the app. I kept on waiting for it to show up, and it never did. I showed the guy that works there my order through Yelp and he said he would be working on my order. Later on, another costumer went in and had the same issue, turns out their third party system was down. Honestly, the food was mediocre. The three stars was for the guy that works there as he was being patient and understanding about my frustration. Also, I like how they were founded by a firefighter and they support other firefighters. Came here to redeem my free Hook and Ladder sub with purchase from T-Mobile Tuesdays. The sub was good and toasted and warm which I was not expecting I thought it was gonna be a cold sandwich. Firehouse Subs is a chain started by firefighter brothers in the '90s. They are soo much better than Subway... so the next time you're thinking of Subway or Quizno's, go here instead! This location is on Warner and Goldenwest, in the Starter Bros, Ross, and Blaze Pizza shopping center. I tried 2 of their hot subs, the Virginia Honey Ham and the Smoked Turkey, both on white bread. It came with provolone cheese, and their "fully involved" concept, which includes lettuce, tomato, onions, mayo, and mustard. Simple, yet so fresh and packed with flavor. Toasted to perfection... Customer service was excellent, and during Covid-19, the staff was wearing masks and trying their best to social distance while assembling sandwiches. There are floor markers and chairs to sit on while you wait, and two separate areas for ordering and online pickups. They were extremely busy with online and takeout orders, but they still maintained great service. I will definitely come back again to try their other subs and sides. When subway toasts their subs it just tastes stale, but Firehouse reminds me of a better tasting Quiznos. My go-to is the turkey bacon ranch, but the hook and ladder is pretty good too. Service is fast and friendly, and each kid gets a plastic firefighter helmet with their kids meal. Each Firehouse subs is decorated with firefighter gear and decor, which kids seem to love. Came by last week to try out the new location. I already love Firehouse Subs as it is and this location did not disappoint. We went to the counter to order and decided on the limited time sandwich Pastrami Reuben. So delicious, generous with the meat and full of flavor. The pickle on the side was also tasty and crisp. Customer service was also good and friendly. The restaurant was clean and picked up and they actively had employees asking if you needed anything and how your meal was. They also have the Coca Cola machine for drinks where you can have many different options of soda, juice, tea and water.
