What in the deliciousNESS do we have here?! My son kept asking me to share a sandwich with him. I was reluctant. Honestly, I kinda gave up on ever eating a good ( not kill the roof of my mouth) sandwich. I'm glad I gave in. I had no idea what I was missing out on. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's off of Main Street, very unassuming but, nice and clean. This place is seriously a hidden gem.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I've been here at least five times in the last two months. Everything I've had is delicious. I have to admit, I was not expecting Coach's Deli to have the BEST Philly steak sandwich in California. Lol!! It's flavorful and not at all greasy. They have a cheesewheel that they make their amazing Fettuccine Alfredo with. And their Italian sandwich .... Yummm!!! It's now my "go to" place for sandwiches. Don't order American sandwiches here. I ordered a Reuben sandwich. It was served with fresh white bread (not grilled on rye bread) no Swiss cheese, no Russian dressing. Hidden gem!! It's right next door to Starbucks. This place has great prices(especially for being downtown)and the food is delicious! I work downtown Huntington so I find myself often wondering what to eat for lunch. Now that Coach's deli is open, I no longer wonder what to eat. I will continue to give Coach's deli my money over and over again. First and foremost they use good ingredients which makes their food taste absolutely amazing. I was craving a tuna sandwich and yelp recommended this place so I gave it a try. I placed my order over the phone and didn't know what to expect when I got there. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The deli itself is much nicer than what you would expect a deli to be.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] In addition to sandwiches they also have Middle Eastern desserts. They don't do fountain drinks so I grabbed some lemonade from their drink fridge. It was so yummy. I don't know if it was fresh made or what but I will be going back for more. The sandwich itself was good. The toppings were fresh. My only suggestion would be if you're taking it to go, have them go a little bit lighter on the toppings because my bread was soggy almost immediately. read more

I had ordered the Italian sandwich on French bread and that wasn't a good choice of bread to go with. It was a little bit hard and crumbly. Every bite wasn't well put together so to speak. I took my family to the beach today and picked up lunch here. It was soooo good! They will definitely be ahead on Main Street in Huntington Beach. The service is great, and super friendly. We had the cheese pizza, Mediterranean sandwich, and they were passing out free baklava samples. If you know, baklava, or haven't tried it yet, by far is the best! We will definitely come back. This place is Absolutely wonderful. The staff is extremely friendly and eager to make your food exactly how you want it. The food is very high quality.
