I'm not sure why the serving size keeps getting smaller for the meat, but it seems that after covid they reduced their portion size and now my latest bowl seems even smaller than before. The rice is packed in there and the meat looks like a smaller scoop. This location has always had good prices, good service, and good portion sizes. Super small meat portion and tons of rice. If I wanted a bowl of rice I'd make it at home. I keep trying to give this place a shot but they keep disappointing me. When this location first opened it was good and the service is great however that has declined. I hadn't been here in awhile and decided to order a bowl for pickup since I live so close. The restaurant wasn't busy but was very dirty. There were lots of flies inside the restaurant especially at the soda machine and self serve sauces, many were landing on the sauce spout - very unsanitary. The food quality was not as good as it used to be. I have decided to no longer eat at Waba Grill. There is a local owned business not too far away with the same kind of food at much better quality food, generous portions and reasonable prices that is now my go to. read more

Let me tell you when your roommate has a craving for late night Asian style food and wanted to be healthy, this is where you go. I was so lucky I got the white meat bowl with white rice and five potstickers I only managed to save a bite for myself so I could tell you how delicious it actually was my roommate had to enjoy the rest but for less than $15 to get both an hors d'oeuvre and a main course? Currently they have take out, delivery and outdoor seating for now. Like most restaurants, you can call in your order or you can always just walk in to order. I assume this is a local franchise owner. If so, you need to train your people better. I've watched this place being built, finally got my chance to go get the family dinner. Since it was my first time at a WaBa I had the audacity to ask a question. I thought it was simple but I got the tude. I asked "what's the difference between a plate and a bowl". The lady in the photo mumbled something towards the register while looking down. Keep in mind they are blasting music in the place. I told her I couldn't hear her and then she turned around and mumbled towards the menu board. I then said "I'm not understanding you over the music." I tried one more time and she answered "is that all?" with that I'm too good to speak up attitude. It's less about what she said and more about the attitude. Hard to explain in a review but you could tell right away she hates this job. I don't get it, why not try to make a good impression on the locals, perhaps even with a greeting and a smile? Any drink in the soda machine always taste like there's soap in it. The food has a terrible taste of chemicals. There's definitely something wrong in the kitchen. The food tastes like there is bleach or some kind of chemical on it. There appears to be no ownership or management present in the store, at any time. This order was placed during the Covid 19 drama. Ordered the family chicken meal and got the dumplings free with a coupon. After I had trouble with the mobile app I called in and ordered over the phone and the person who answered was very helpful and nice. Walked in about 15 mins later and the food was ready and everyone inside was very nice and polite. The whole place was extremely neat and clean. Food was good, typical waba grill. Every single time I go here the order has been wrong. I order through the app and when I get home from picking up the food there's either something missing, completely wrong or both. I usually just shrug it off and ignore the mistakes but not tonight!!! Went back and fortunately got our order corrected but unfortunately with attitude from staff too. As often as I order from this particular Waba there is never the same staff, high turn around places means crap manager and it's super obvious. Love WaBa but this one sucks. Worth it to order from another one farther and just drive. For the past multiple times, the rice has been gross. Was afraid to eat it because I thought I might get food poisoning. It's also a 50/50 chance of getting salad dressing on your salad which is actually a forkful of leaves with dry carrots. They never put enough waba sauce on and if you do delivery they don't put any extra in the bag. The quality of this location is not on par with other Waba locations. The workers are incompetent and don't understand basic things. A few weeks ago we ordered 2 bowls with light rice more veggies and when we got home it was all rice with the smallest amount of veggies. We weren't going to complain and thought it was a simple mistake. We went back tonight and ordered 2 bowls with plain chicken and all veggies, when we received the order we got plain chicken with all white rice so we took it back to get the all veggies. They remade it and we got home and they had put the smallest amount of veggies on top of a huge thing of white rice!!!
