The menu was large with pictures of each sandwich so it helped with deciding what to order. A lot of the sandwiches sounded good to me and couldn't decide what to order until my coworker suggested something. I ordered #10 Smokehouse Beef & Cheddar Brisket ($9.58 for a medium combo) and my coworker ordered #2 Firehouse Meatball ($8.48 for a medium combo) with pepperoni. We both made our subs a large (foot long) which was $2.50 more. The staff were nice and friendly. Our food came out fairly quickly to our table. We both split our subs so we could try both. The Smokehouse Beef & Cheddar Brisket sub was tasty and definitely would taste better with some hot sauce in my opinion. The Firehouse Meatball sub was delicious especially with the pepperoni on top. It was almost like eating a pizza with some ingredients missing. I would order either of those again but would try other things as well since there was a lot of choices on the menu. If Firehouse Subs had a location with better visibility, I'm sure that my 5 visits in the past 7 years would be at least triple that amount. With being tucked away in the back of Antioch Crossing, I forget that they are there when thinking about fast food options in the neighborhood. My go to when I do go has been the BBQ beef and cheddar brisket. A solid bbq option for a fast food chain. Myself and my wife went there for a late dinner sandwich Friday nite the appearance of the restaurant was terrible trash on floors one trash can disabled we ordered a sandwich and soup and waited over 25 minutes for it and then was a awful sandwich that you could tell was made with no regard for quality. The meat was stuffed in the middle of the roll with more than half with no meat. The place was being ran by teenagers with clearly not food service on their mind. We were not greeted when we arrived. Not even when we walked up to cashier. There were 14 people (6 parties) of people before us that were also waiting for their food before us. We placed our order at 8:05pm. It is currently 8:30 and nothing has been said to us in regards to a wait or apology. I would give 0 stars if possible. The manager in there was the worst person I've ever encountered in a restaurant. I simply asked to be told any extras they offer for their sandwich and was told by her that she can't tell me what they offer, I have to know what I want. The guy on the register was nice and read me back what they offer as extras on sandwiches until he was cut off by her. "We don't have the time to explain to you everything". I kindly said, "You guys took the page with extras off and I cannot remember exactly what was on it". I must have said something she didn't like because man did she go off. We were walking out without even finishing our order because we literally couldn't order. What kind of manager shuts down a customer like that? I reached out regarding a visit. The owner contacted me, asked if he could make it right, offered credit with the opportunity for me to use his business in the future. I order daily for work from 10-60 people depending on the day. I never received any credit. I let him know this just in case something happened. apparently something did happen. He was very apologetic and assured me he "would get it taken care of in short order".. I don't know what "short order" means to him... but that was 3/1/22 the original visit was first part of February. I just ordered over $550 for lunch today somewhere else. If you go here and customer service is less than you'd like, just remember leadership starts from the top. I honestly have never received such amazing service from a manager. She was in constant contact with us throughout the day and ensured delivery was on time and perfect. Great food as always but customer service stinks at this location. I watched a young cashier argue with customers about an app error when the customers tried to apply their points to their order. The customers left stating they wouldn't return. After they left the employees discussed the incident in front of other customers. Not professional at all and will make me think twice about returning to this location. Losing customers over an app error, really!?
