I like this Firehouse location. Clean, serve is good, folks are friendly. Subs are great. I would recommend this location.

First visit to a Firehouse Subs restaurant and pleasantly-surprised! Servers were very helpful in describing their sandwiches. Ordered the Beef, Brisket & Cheddar Cheese BBQ. Delicious!!! Customer service is the worse. I placed an online order to pick up. I walk in the store there's already another customer there. I see him going through bags pulling out items, I didn't pay it no mind and I asked the employee that was mopping where do I pick up my food. He pointed to the countertop the customer was at that was going through bags. I asked if my food could be remade it's too much going on in the world. Idk where this man been. The man said he was looking for a drink in each bag, specially a cherry limeade. Like come on, why would a drink be in the bag, mind you it says the name and order on the receipt on the outside of bag. The female that was working was so unprofessional and rude, said she couldn't remake it, made up every excuse why, lied about calling the manager then got smart. Everyone is not medicated and again it's too much going on in the world. I called corporate, they didn't get back to me. This isn't the first time though, but it's my first being in some years at this location since my last incident. The previous manage argued with me about putting mustard on my sandwich when it was clearly on my receipt NO MUSTARD. I love the food here, however we recently have never gotten the pickles that come with our meals. We also added sautéed onions which they never received. Service also sucked. My boyfriend and I have been looking for a decent meatball sub so we tried out firehouse subs. The subs tasted great, but we were missing a lot from our order. His sub was supposed to have extra cheese and mushrooms, and both of our subs were supposed to come with a side pickle. So I'm pretty upset that he didn't get what he paid for. read more

This location has some of the most polite and energetic employees. Each time I've gone, even when different shifts, they're always ready to go (even five minutes before closing). Love the freshness and options I have here versus the sub shop in the plaza next door. read more

This Firehouse Sub place reminds me of the one in Mesa AZ. Absolutely terrible! I simply wanted a roast beef and ham (no turkey). I got a ham and God only knows what the brown stuff was. It was over twice as thick as the ham and you couldn't even tear it apart with your fingers, let alone your teeth. It was chewy and full of gristle. Never again...All of these Firehouse Sub stores should be just like the one in Cedar Hill, TX. A perfect sandwich every time. That pretty much does it for me trying out Firehouse Subs. Sadly had to give a star for this place in order to give a review, but they don't deserve it! We walked in and we noticed trash all over the place, the 3 teenage guys behind the counter were acting as if we were invisible and they had better things to do like check their phone for their girlfriends text messages. We timed our wait to exactly 5 minutes and still we were not even acknowledged so we just walked out. The lady at the register was very rude. As i began to order i began to ask about the spicy cajan chicken sandwich. I asked what was on the sandwich and the lady at the register proceeded to say whatever is on the picture. Clearly i see the picture posted on the wall all i seen was lettuce and tomatoes that were on the sandwich but none of the other condiments. I began to pull up my T-Mobile Tuesday app with the free medium sub with any purchase i selected redeem and then showed my phone i guess it was counting down and she told me to select redeem which i already did but she insisted anyways. There were connectivity issues in the store and someone yelled from the back connect to the WiFi. After connecting to the WiFi i got back on the T-Mobile Tuesday app and realized that the app already said i redeemed it so i decided to show the cashier so that she can see as well as the time stamp to know that the first time i initially click on it the sandwich was already redeemed. Anyways fast forward the cashier and the female on the sandwich station was debating on if they should give me the sandwich the female on the sandwich station seemed pretty irritated because she was mumbling a lot of things under her mask which i couldn't hear clearly. After the long debate the cashier said she's going to give me the sandwich even though i don't have a coupon but remind you it said redeemed already with the time stamp . So after she said that with an attitude i told her i no longer want the sandwich. My thing is who really wants someone who has an attitude to make their food or yet alone give their place of business their money? I was very disappointed with the customer service not with just myself but with my spouse as well who also had issues with the coupon. These people might want to get jobs where they work in the back and not in the front directly with people. I would not recommend going to this location ever again. read more

First time coming here, the food was great! The problem I had was that the server forgot to bring the sides with the sandwiches. I had to go ask for my chili. They were good about it though, gave me fresh chili with a ton of cheese and onions on it. I will definitely be going back at some point. read more

Love this place! Hands down one of the best subs I've had on a long time. My Steak & Cheese sub was hot, fresh, and cut in the middle... just like I like it. You like subs? I think Firehouse is the best sandwich chain in Killeen. This is where I go for a sandwich. It's funny because I had two sandwiches at home today. I still went to Firehouse. Club on a sub is my lover. They always make it right. (I ask for heavy customizations). I've only had one issue which was kindly corrected. The prices went up awhile back so I eat there less now. It's still the best. The staff is incredibly friendly. Jasmine is a great general manager. Definitely will return! read more

I am so in love with this place it is always good always fast and I have never seen a bad worker/employee they are always so helpful. I even had one take her gloves an apron off and help me to the car because I was taking food home to go an had multi bags and my son I have not had a single issue with the way I ask my sandwiches made the chili Is amazing I was sad to find out that there is no longer chicken am noodle soup but it could just be a season thing who knows.i have got almost all the sandwiches now I think my favorite are a 3 way tie between the hook and ladder brisket an cheddar and the turkey bacon ranch. I think next time I go in I will have to get the turkey cranberry thst looked good wish they would come to Kempner /lampasas. Just finished a large New York Steamer (pastrami) it was delicious. And the staff is very friendly.

The Italian Sub was sooo good! The bread was so fresh and tasty! The customer service was great too! Someone comes around to your table and asks if everything tastes good and if you need anything! I hope they never relocate! I'm never going back to Subway EVER AGAIN! That's how good they are! I can't wait to try the other things on the menu! Kings Hawaiian pork & slaw sandwich is my new favorite from firehouse subs! When it was delivered to our table my jaw dropped and I was drooling. I'm a fat kid at heart and there's no shame in admitting it..Lol. The pork was tender and the slaw had a touch of sweetness that made it taste awesome. Kings Hawaiian bread is by far the best bread I've ever had. Not too sweet ..came together nicely with the pork and slaw. Don't get me started on the touchscreen coke machine..told my fiance we needed to get one for our apartment. Haha! Anyways...we will definitely be going back to this place. Today was the second time we have been to this Firehouse sub, last week we ordered 1 cheese steak and 1 brisket--- delicious, this week we ordered 2 cheese steaks 12" & 8 " and two of the round roast beef and cheese ,lettuce ,tomato, mayo. We would have liked to order the pork and slaw BUT the time of sale had run out. The customer service was some of the best ,store was clean, food was prepared quickly etc. We will go back again and again. I am a huge fan of firehouse subs but this location is abysmal. Whoever manages this location should be ashamed of themselves. First of all, it's in a poor locale but that doesn't seem to deter the lunch crowd. I know that everything is going to be busy during the lunch rush since we are a military base town, but knowing that and to have only two people managing that crowd is unacceptable. I will never return to this location. I walked up to the counter that was empty but saw that they girls were frantically trying to assemble sandwiches. One girl acknowledged me and said it would be a moment to which I replied ok. A couple seconds later she said it'll be a few moments and then followed with a "it'll be more than a few moments, we have 18 sandwiches we're making..." At that point, I turned around and walked out. There was a line forming behind me and a group of people walking in. Usually I would give this location a 5 star review, but today just really irritated me! I guess in the time I've been sick they have new hires that shouldn't be unsupervised! Usually when I go in I'm greeted warmly by the employees, and most of them know my order already. Never a problem! I have had to send others to get me a Firehouse Sub on several occasions and every other time someone went for me I didn't get a pickle. I was disappointed, but wasn't there to see if they were overly busy, had new people or what. So I didn't complain. Today I went for myself and they weren't busy so I figured I would get a pickle this time so I didn't specifically say don't forget my pickle. Got home with my sub....opened it up and NO PICKLE!!! How flippin hard is it to put a damn pickle in the bag???? From now on I will be asking for my damn pickle and making them SHOW me the pickle until they get it together!!!! read more

My husband and I have always loved Firehouse, but I never left a review because it was still just a sub shop. When we went this Sunday every single employee welcomed me as I walked in. That was nice! On top of that (aside from the always DELICIOUS subs) we had our very large puppy with us so we sat outside, and two different employees came out to ask how everything was and bring the pup a BOWL of ice water. We go to Firehouse about once a week. Each time we are greeted by friendly employees who love the food they make you. I worry about places where the employees don't like their own food. These people not only like the food, the are enthusiastic about it. They are happy to make recommendations about what they like. They have even made sure my favorite hot sauce stays in stock. There was a time where they had a lazy employee or two that might explain the other reviews but they seemed to be gone quick. The regular crew never seems to fail but I bet if they did they would be happy to fix it. read more

I gotta say that they are a lot better than subway. I just wish that they would make the bread crisper. In the Bay Area of California has a sub place called Togos. Firehouse taste similar. It just needs to work on there bread. I'm definitely not going to subway again!!! read more
