Over priced and not worth it. Firehouse has opted to be apart of T-Mobile Tuesdays, where you BOGO free Hook N Ladder medium sub. Now all though that may seem like a good deal, it isn't. You can not customize the subs, even the one you are paying for. They both are "as is". To me, that's unfair, because if i'm paying, I should be able to do what I want to that sub, and the free one, I can understand no customization to it, cause its free. The price difference from a small to a medium is absurd. I got no bread on one of them, and let me tell you, it was nothing but a small side salad. The other, I got garlic bread, which is nothing but garlic spread ($0.99), so if they don't use enough, you can't even taste the extra money you spent on it. I didn't taste shhhhhhh, on mines. I walked in and there was nothing on the online orders rack. The employee looked over at me, no greeting....and just said, "You here for an order?" I told her yes and gave her my name. Ordered Firehouse Subs for the first time on postmates. We got two different sandwiches, I'll start with the one I don't like vs the one we loved. The first one we got was a Philly cheesesteak not so good. I definitely won't get this one again, the steak wasn't great, the green grilled peppers were gross, definitely not what I expected. I added lettuce and tomatoes in it and even that wasn't a great decision. On the other hand we got the New York Steamer and oh my goodness. That was delicious! It comes with corned beef and pastrami. I think that probably explains why I started feeling nauseous about halfway into it. This sandwich is wrong and old! No one is answering the phone at the business. I rarely go there, so to be honest, I didn't even know what came on the Hook & Ladder, but I knew I'd had it once before a couple of years ago and liked it. My daughter ordered the Hook & Ladder Salad with turkey , ham, cucumber, and green bell pepper on a bed of romaine lettuce with Italian dressing on the side. 2 thumbs up from her so I guess it was refreshing and healthy for her. My teenager grandson ordered the same meatballs sub which was my ultimate favorite. After having heard a lot about Firehouse Subs, I decided to come here after a medical visit and was fairly underwhelmed by the quality of the food. Although my meatball sub was okay, it wasn't anything special and I couldn't imagine coming back for it. The turkey sandwich my mother got was also not great. In addition to this, the drinks were from a Freestyle machine which I am not a fan of, as the drinks taste very watered down. First of all their customer service is absolutely terrible!!! I was looking for my free birthday sub and couldn't locate it. I thought that maybe it was a glitch in the system, contacted them via the app and so-called customer service responded via email that I needed to make a purchase within the last 6 months and I told them I did and even sent a screenshot, and then the response was that I needed to use it within the day before, day of or day after your birthday. I mean do these people even read the emails or are they bots or just uneducated because it's impossible to redeem a birthday sub if it's not available. How do you redeem something if it wasn't even in the app!!! So I got penalized for a glitch in their system and what can I say if I could give them negative Stars I would. On the other hand I go and call Panera ( because they actually have a phone number to call customer service ) and I didn't get my birthday rewards so not only did I get two pastries I also got a $5 bonus to use for my inconvenience, now that's customer service!!! And regarding Firehouse Subs, I even stated I was a retired first responder, so obviously they don't even honor that, and moving forward I will redeem the rewards that I have accrued and not be a customer there anymore!!! read more
