Waited in the store for a mobile order (that wasn't ready when I walked in) about 20 minutes because no one called my order and then there was attitude given because they didn't call my order. My kids and I come here weekly Today though was my last order I placed an order for 1:45 at 1:50 I'm there they tell me a few min 10 min pass I ask again, they tell me a few more min. I had to wait over 25 min Not one time they told me we're behind or we're sorry I normally won't mind but I was in a rush. The ended up giving me a refund I haven't received it. I get home and the veggies I ordered weren't the same, the bread is soggy and there's a man's arm hair in the food. I live u see 10 min away. My sub was also wrong and tasted very weird I felt something was off with the meat. I honestly couldn't finish it I was just thrown off and got grossed out. Very disappointed in the staff today. The girl at the cash register was touching everything other than food while taking my order and after. I watched her closely and she decided not to change her gloves to make my sandwich I asked for a refund immediately and walked out and will probably never return. Also never got an apology from the girl and manager nor did the manager step up to try do anything to make the situation better. read more

I ordered door dash to go. My sandwich was ready fast and you just walk in and grab your to go order on the shelf. I tried the Jamaican Jerk Turkey hot sub. It could use more Jerk flavor but still was a good sandwich. I enjoyed it read more

Two visits in when I write this review and I have to shout out the customer service at this place. Both times that I came here, I was redeeming a TMobile offer. You all know the craziest that comes with freebies at restaurants--long lines, impatient customers and ticked off crew members that are bothered by a high traffic day, BUT this Firehouse was so cool under pressure both times I came on TMobile free sandwich day. On both occasions, they had a nice sized sign up by the register letting customers know that they could redeem their offer at their location. So appreciate that gesture because honestly that saves everyone time and avoids conflict! Behind the counter were only two people-one working the register and one making the sandwiches, but it was efficient. Even though I encountered a line both visits, I was in and out in 10 minutes tops. Once more, I was greeted sincerely and so nicely by the crew member running the register. I believe I had her as my cashier on both visits because she has a distinctive voice- very sweet and kind. When she asked me if I wanted to round up and donate my change to the foundation, I couldn't say no-she said it so nicely. I felt like they rolled the red carpet out for TMobile customers that day with big open arms. Store is clean and if you so desire, you can dine in and enjoy your meal. Plus, signage in front of the counter announced that Kids 12 and under eat free on Sundays. Such a wonderful gesture-especially for families! For the past 5 or 6 years, I have gotten a Firehouse sub on my birthday (if you are a rewards member you get a FREE sub on your bday if you didn't know!) With being new to the area, my most recent birthday was my first time visiting this sub shop. Sub was DELISH! I absolutely LOVE subs but don't tend to eat them much because of the carbs. So my free birthday sub is such a nice treat! Staff were awesome like at every other Firehouse I have visited over the years. The order came out fast, was fresh and made to perfection! I usually do not leave bad reviews but when I do its because they experience was bad, but wow went here for my lunch, and it took almost 40 minutes to get my food. They had 3 workers one being a manager and they were all preoccupied with an order they received. The worst part is not that I am upset that they were taking care of the big order, but they had a worker that has trouble understanding English takign care of their biggest order. They let her be the one making the sandwiches while the others just assisted. If you have a rush hour you get your best employee doing the biggest order and I could hear them saying that it was a complicated order. Like common sense you divide the work, not just stand there and give orders I definitely blame management for this. Never again took my whole lunch hour. read more

Ordered online for a specific time since i was in a hurry and when I walked in to pick up they were barely going to start making it when they had half an hour to make it... super disappointing! The sandwich was great! The reason I left a 1 star is because of the customer service. The owner I believe is really nice and understandable. But the downside to this establishment is the staff that works here. They are rude and unwelcoming, which turn my experience so bad. I always say if you don't want to work then go home. D.C. is a "shift leader" and he's no leader. And three seconds AFTER I posted this review, a woman walked out in disgust about how she was treated. I have probably eaten at this restaurant at least twice each month for more than a year and each time prior to my last visit I was given a Veterans Discount (which amounted to a free regular drink). However on my last visit when I showed my Veterans ID and asked for the discount the cashier replied in a very demeaning tone "We only do this for Active Duty folks", my response to him was "Sorry to hear that, and I'll not eat here again". to which I received the rude response "So what, for every one of you, there are twenty of them". Firehouse Subs competes with Subway, Quizno's, Which Wich, etc. Their whole theme is that they were started by a firefighter so they have that theme going in the restaurant. They also steam their meats which gives it a unique flavor. My favorite is the club on a sub which comes with ham, turkey, bacon, mayo, and all the fixings on either white or wheat bread. You also get a complimentary pickle with your sandwich. One thing I don't like is they only give you one option for the size of your sub (no six inch or footlong options like at Subway). So you're pretty much stuck getting the standard size no matter how hungry you are. I personally prefer Firehouse to Subway. Good spot for a quick lunch. read more

I've placed an order online a few times now, and every time I arrive at the scheduled pick up time, my food hasn't been ready. What's the point of ordering ahead (at least 20 min each time) if it isn't ready when you arrive? This time, I went to the pick up line and stood there for 5 min while they served the regular line, then got to me - why have a separate line then? Then they told me it had "just printed out" magically right when I arrived, yet my email confirmation said I my order was placed 20 minutes before that.. no apology, no recognition of their mistake, just a "you have to pay then wait." I ended up waiting 15 min for my sub. Food is good but customer service really sucks. Don't go here if you are in a time crunch! read more

Came in yesterday evening and ordered the Meatball sub and my husband got the Philly steak. For the first time, the item I ordered looked like what was on the picture. The Meatball sub is awesome, I order it every time I go there. I was so glad to see a Subway competitor because Subway began to disappoint me over 20 years ago and 20 years was the last time I had a Subway meal. The Meatball sub was very flavorful. We ordered the foot long and it came with at least 8 meatballs. My husband enjoyed his Philly sub but once he tried mine he wished he had ordered the same as I did. The ONLY reason I'm not giving them five stars is because the staff looked very lackadaisical. When we walked in there were only two people there. The staff, all three looked at us at the same time as if they were deer stuck in a headlight. My husband had never been there before so we took some time looking at the menu. The cashier looked exasperated. We ate at the tables and when we need a bag to take out our leftovers, the guy sweeping the floor, looked like I just flat out GOT ON HIS NERVE LOL! We got this service even after spending $36 for subs, chips, soda and a cookie. I hate calling the staff out because I know sometimes we just don't want to be at work and have bad days. But I just wish they could have at least pretended they were really HAPPY TO TAKE OUR ORDER! read more

I like Firehouse and their brand. When one enters, you are always greeted. But as of late, something must be going on with both Pearland locations. No one looks happy to be here on a Sunday. See my review for the Main St location. But here, how does one want to order from someone who looks like they don't want to be there? On top of that, the Firehouse App wouldn't let me order. The older lady that took my order seemed to be in a rush and whenever I would take seconds to answer her questions about what I wanted on my sandwich, she seemed to get annoyed that I was taking "long", even though I was the only one at the restaurant and it was not even close to their closing time. I was so excited to be trying this establishment for the first time in my life until my arrival. Once i got there i was properly greeted so i can be honest but after that it went a little down hill. I can in the place with my jacket over my mouth but since it wasnt a actual masked i was treated terribly and face gestures was ugly towards me. I dont mind paying because im a happy believer in paying but he treated me as if i was harming the place. Then, the cashier spoke very nice to me and offered a mask. Then the manager came in and save the day. I appreciate mr sauidid. Im sorry if thats wrong in spelling but i really appreciate the free meal and the courtesy trying to make it right. I was pretty disappointed when I stopped by the other day. My numerous past experiences with Firehouse subs has been fantastic, not so much with this one. The workers were very friendly I must say, but the appearance of the store was very lackluster to say the least. The coke machine had so much excess ice in to bottom that I had to empty it just to get my cup inside. The trash was overflowing and the counter was covered in some sort of liquid. I was hoping when I got my sandwich it would make up for the dirty store, but no. I decided not to stay and eat and when I got home (about 5 minutes later) the sandwich tasted like it was dumped in water it was so soggy. I wasn't even able to finish half before I threw it away. While my experience didn't completely Turk me off from firehouse, next time I'll likely pick a different location. read more

Ordered 2 deluxe platters. So not a cheap visit. Upon getting our food, I asked for more mayo. I suppose that was a problem, I got a slight attitude from the manager for a response, but in the end, the manager gave me the Dukes Mayo. Now we are all enjoying our firehouse subs! Good food but my biggest gripe has to be how expensive this place is! 2 sandwiches and 2 drinks set me back 20 bucks. I got the chicken salad sandwhich and my boyfriend gets the roast beef. He loves that sandwich and claims he can eat it everyday and my chicken salad was a-ok! As far as the place itself, it was small and felt a bit cramped. We really liked the innovative soda fountation machine (so many flavors!). I like the food here but it's way too expensive for what it is to make me a regular. Glad Firehouse Subs opened up in Pearland though, gives us plenty of options to choose from! read more
