Rude workers. Came here a few weeks ago at 8:00 pm. Was told that they were closed. Stopped by today 3/9/22 the place was empty and was told that they were only taking orders online, and that it was going to be a long wait. I tried to order online but the website couldn't process my order. I was able to order in person my 7 subs. My husband and I usually come to Firehouse in Rancho. We are totally aware of Covid rules. We live in Fontana and use to go to firehouse in Loma Linda, probably end up going back. Problem is after ordering combo we are told to wait for our drinks, since they now serve the drinks to you. There's a line of 3 or more people waiting for their drinks. They are not busy, all 4 people are making sandwiches. Our order is ready but no drinks. By that time we take our sandwich out to eat its wet from mayo and tomato. I can here on Wednesday evening to try this place out for the first time. Upon walking in I wasn't greeted and as I stared at the menu no one offered to assist me? There were 3 young ladies working. After a few minutes I ordered a few sandwiches for my family. The girl that helped me didn't have a personality but whatever I just wanted my food. There were a couple customers ahead of me and yet somehow it took me 27 minutes to get a couple sandwiches and a salad lol two of the girls went to the back so I guess there's no attempt for fast service. Used their "rapid online ordering" to get a sandwich on my 30 minute lunch. Ordered 15 minutes before I arrive to be sure it is ready since I am on a time restriction. I arrive and there is no sandwich ready in the online so sit and wait for 10 minutes. After 10 minutes I go to the counter and ask the girl with blue hair making the sandwiches if by any chance she seen an online order to make sure it went through and without looking she said it was next. I go back to waiting for another 15 minutes and by this time none of the workers are making a sandwich they are all just cleaning. I go and ask another worker and he asks for my name. Turns out my sandwich was sitting in the back counter this whole time and no one bothered to check. After 40 minutes I was late back from lunch and I was stuck with a soggy sandwich. The short black female behind the counter is rude and also rushes to prepare your food. She sloppily prepares the food. I have Crohn's disease so my stomach is very sensitive to cheese and peppers. Wow i haven't been here for a while because about a year or so ago it was under new management and the food got really bad almost inedible . Soggy buns from greasy meat they never drain and watery mayo you couldn't eat the sandwich without a spoon. But i went there today and I'm happy to say they are back on track. Won't be going back sorry. Tables weren't cleaned. Took quite a while for our order and the mobile orders that came to pick up all waited a while. Our sandwich didn't have mustard when it should have (should be a given on corned beef/pastrami sandwich, and the menu said it came on it.) Also since they said they were out of pastrami we asked if they could double up on the corned beef then, which they didn't.
