Nine out of 10 times they never put the right ingredients. Went in and the employees were very busy not with orders, we were the only ones in there. They were very busy socializing. I am so sick of the employees unable to read a list of ingredients to put on a sandwich. We thought a one time experience of bad service was a fluke. But we have had several instances where the customer service was poor. It took close to an hour to get our order. We thought we would try to get our order delivered and used three different food delivery services. All three services complained about how long it took to receive an order. The drivers would call and let us know that they were at the restaurant waiting for the order to be finished. Restaurant was not full just the servers were slow and we're in no hurry to make food. By the time our order got here it was an hour and a half later, and our order was cold! When we called to report the bad service, they blew us off. This is terrible. read more

Eh, I have been going there for a few years. The sandwiches are ok, but I get tired of them screwing up the orders. I get it, mistakes happen, but that's not the reason I give the 1 star. The 1 star is for the guy making the sandwich and acted all inconvenienced he had to re-make the correct order. When he finished making the right order, he sort of just plopped it up on the counter and muttered "meatball sub" and walked away. Anyway, just kinda off-putting. This is by far one of the best Firehouse Subs! The staff is always very friendly and doing their best to accommodate customers. Their food quality is excellent. The sandwiches are all great, the meatball is especially good because the meatballs do not fall off while you're eating your sandwich which makes it even better. I have been sticking with their salads for a while now and the Hook & Ladder salad with double meat and add on onions, with the Italian dressing, can't beat it. First time coming here... Came with my daughter and grandson. Samantha and Abby where amazing! They had so much patience considering it can get a bet busy. We waited about 7 to 10 minutes but it was so worth it for those large customized sandwhiches... They strive for excellence and make sure each customer feels warm and welcomed! We sat inside and our food was brought to our table quickly, fresh and accurate. The sweet and spicy meatball was my favorite, the meatballs had chew, weren't mushy and were well seasoned. I ate in my car because I was hungry and figured it'll get cold my the time to get home. I noticed that my sandwich didn't taste like an Italian sandwich at all. It tasted more like a ham sandwich. The ratio of ham, salami and pepperoni was not equal at all. I couldn't taste the salami or pepperoni it was overpowered by the ham. Went here on a Friday at lunch hour by myself to grab a quick sandwich. There were some other customers there, but the place was not swarming. Many tables were open and I only had to wait a few mintues to order. I then had to wait for my sandwich to be built. And wait. By 20 minutes I was getting frustrated and I was starving. By 30 minutes I was downright resentful and lunch was ruined for me. By 35 minutes I knew I was going to be late getting back to the office. By 40 minutes I asked for my money back. That is, of course, exactly when they finally brought my sandwich out. But by then I was permanently scarred--I had been waiting in anticipation for 40 minutes. I was really distraught. I have never waited that long for a sandwich in my entire life. I could see other frustrated customers waiting around as well. The guy behind the counter had explained that two employees called in sick that morning, but good grief, if you are that thinly staffed there is something very wrong with your business model. Absolutely worst service ever. Ordered 7 identical sandwiches after 1:30pm on a Monday afternoon, three employees working, two people ahead of me. I was berated by the employee for not ordering ahead of time on a LARGE order. Persisted to tell (yell) other customers as they walked in, the wait will be long cuz they just got a large order might not want to wait. 7 identical sandwiches is a large order for 3 employees? As I went to the counter to pick up my order, your employee told me, in a raised voice, this line is long and it's all my fault. what?! I just stood there, listened, then told her I don't need this abuse and left, without my order. Absolutely lazy employees with disgusting attitudes working with the general public. They fulfill online orders before taking care of the customers standing in front of them. A 30 minute wait so they can make 16 online sandwiches? Ownership has instructed them to operate this way? It makes no sense. They upset a dozen customers in the store so that they don't upset one online customer. AVOID this store. The manager is not trained in retail management at all. Update: approximately 10 minutes into our 30 minute wait, the manager left the store WITH A SANDWICH OF HER OWN. I asked her if she was really going to leave her people behind while they're so busy.
