Went here with my boss after work. Got the medium sized classic meatball. It was neat and looked amazing. Served hot and tasted just as good as it looked. Huge selection of soda and other fountain drinks was another cool thing about this place. I liked the grape Fanta and grape Sprite. Prices are comparable to Jersey Mikes. I give it 4 stars since they gave my boss the wrong sandwich. They quickly caught on and got him the right one. Those things happen. If you are in the area I say give it a try, even if it is just for a soda. Don't forget to donate a little to the Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation I think it was called. read more

Ok, at first I thought I was going to have to write a bad review... but it totally turned around. It was my 1st time using Dash and I was staying at a hotel without any transportation. I was really impressed how easy it was to order with Dash as well as Firehouse Subs site. But to my dismay when David the driver arrived, I didn't have my coke, chips, or dressing for salad. I called the store and the gentleman that answered seemed irritated and said that I would need to come in if I needed my items. What?? Seriously... so I then got irritated as well and explained that was not acceptable. He told me I would need to call Dash and get my refund. Again, what?? He then was able to get ahold of Dash for me and said that the driver actually just walked in. He gave me a $10 credit and had the driver being me my items I asked and paid for. Wide variety of different subs including a vegetarian option and salads. If your craving a sub skip subway and come here. The prices are very fair and the quality and taste wins me over. Got the veggie sub on wheat "fully involved" at this location. The sandwich was an atrocious piece of swamp. It had shredded iceberg lettuce, canned sliced mushrooms, overcooked peppers and onions. It also took around 25 minutes for the downtrodden employees to make. I feel bad writing this, but if they put as much effort into making quality subs as they do welcoming people to firehouse they would be better off. read more

At 10:10 am on February 20th, my family and I had one hour between my 9 year olds Basketball games. We decided to grab a coffee and a sub. We parked in front of Firehouse Subs. The sign reads, 15 minute parking. We proceeded to run across the parking lot, when a woman was chasing us! Yelling, "You can't park there!" I tried to explain to the woman that we where going to get a caribou and come get a sub. She just kept yelling I needed to move my car! We entered Caribou and I asked my son to move my truck. I called and asked for a manager. The gentleman who answered, said he was the manager. I explained my situation and he said, "She was just trying to protect the parking spot!" I told him, we wanted to grab a Caribou and then a Firehouse Sub and now he lost the business of 5 people. He said, "Ok." What a horrible experience for us!!! This particular location was less than satisfying, and not so much because of the food, but because of the service and the environment. The cashier seemed annoyed that we wanted to order... I actually had to ask her if she was ready for our order... we were not greeted at all. The place smells like fresh paint, and it was almost too overwheliming to eat there, which defiinitely distracted from our meal. The bread at Firehouse is usually fantastic, but here it was undercooked and dry (not sure how you pull that off)... I've definitely had better experiences at other locations. read more

Stopped in to try this place for the first time today after hearing good things from a few different friends. A guy whom I would guess is the owner was there....suuuper friendly and so was the rest of the staff. I really wanted to try the quintessential Firehouse Sub, and the staff was happy to go through the menu with me. After a little deliberation, I settled on the Italian and it was delectable. The atmosphere is different, but it's nice to see a place mix it up a little. Highly recommend this spot and I will certainly be back. Probably more than my jeans would like me to be. read more

The food is what I expect from Firehouse-solid. However there were no limes at the drink station, the floors were dirty throughout the place and the bathrooms were dirty. The men's soap dispenser was broken. The thermostat kept beeping. Looks like a little TLC is needed. read more

My husband and I stopped in for lunch to grab a sub to go. Employees were extremely friendly (maybe they read previous reviews) and the manager walked us through the menu and made suggestions since it was our first time there. I got the Hook and Ladder light on Wheat. Meat is freshly sliced and all toppings were really good. I put Firehouse sweet/hot sauce on the side and ended up slathering it on the whole sub - it was delicious. Next time I'll skip the mayo and just do Firehouse sauce. My husband got Hook and Ladder on white. He enjoyed the toppings too but the white bread got a bit soggy - would stick with wheat. Overall I would probably give this place 3.5 stars due to not hearty enough white bread but since other reviews were a bit too harsh, rounded up to give this place a fighting chance. I'll be back for more Firehouse sauce! read more

I don't know, this place is just ok to me. The sandwiches aren't bad, but they aren't anything to write home about either. I think they are expensive for the size of the sandwich you get. I would recommend you try it for yourself and see what you think but it's not my particular cup of tea. read more

It was my first visit. I ordered the club sandwich. It was fine. Not wonderful, but fine nevertheless. This real issue here is the service. I walked in at 12:45 on a Friday and there were maybe 5 customers seated. This should have told me there were problems. While I was looking at the menu, two more customers came in and I told them to go ahead of me. Big mistake. There were 4 employees in the store--one making sandwiches, one cashier, one doing some cleaning in a side room, and one that I assumed was the supervisor, who basically was doing nothing other than pacing behind the counter. One sandwich came up, it was for one of the seated customers. Long story short, with that one guy making sandwiches and 4 orders ahead of me (another seated customer and the two I let go ahead), it took over 15 minutes to get my sandwich. No one came in after I ordered, so why wouldn't the do-nothing supervisor jump in to help the sandwich maker, or at least direct the cashier to help. With so many other made to order sandwich shops around, I don't see myself going back there. And If they don't up their game on service, this place won't last. read more

Food was nasty. Both sandwhiches were soggy and poorly made, that was not chedder cheese. And when my husband went to return it, as their sign says " love it after first bite or your money back", the woman working there tried to tell him no they can't do it. Will never go there again. I stopped in to this newly opened Firehouse today for lunch at about 1pm on a Sunday. I was more than a little surprised that there were only two people eating there and no one in line, considering they have only been open a few days and normally new places like this are quite busy when they first open. I had heard a radio commercial for the meatball sub and it even has its own panel on the giant menu behind the counter. I ordered the large meatball on white and wanted a bowl of broccoli cheese soup but was told they didn't have it yet, so I tried the chili instead. I liked the marinara sauce on the sub and the bread was pretty good too. The provolone was a bit tasteless and the meatballs themselves were not as good as advertised. Overall, it was a decent sandwich, filling for sure, but a little disappointing given the hype and the $8 price. The chili tasted and looked like they brought it over from the Wendy's across the street, seriously. This isn't a bad thing at Wendy's $0.99 price but this one cost $3.39. Not worth it. The employees were nice enough, they all welcome you as you step inside. The manager even came over and chatted as I was waiting. It felt a bit awkward that there was no music playing or anything and there was a tv on the wall but it wasn't on. I'm guessing that will change once they get their corporate media package or whatever. The place was clean and looked nice. Some cool firefighting gear and photography on the walls, too. It was a middle of the road experience food-wise. I won't reorder either of the items I got today, but I will be back to try the smokehouse sub, and hopefully they will have some broccoli cheese soup by then, too. read more

This is by far my favorite sub place. I am a vegetarian and this place always hits the spot. I used to tell many people to check this location out until the last 3 times I've been in changed my thoughts. The cashier was extremely rude and messed up my take out order. I called and the cashier and the manager were both rude. The day I went in to get my free sub the cashier was so rude again I just left without ordering any food. The 3rd time the manager was very snobby and short, even though all I wanted was what I had ordered 3 meals ago. Went from my favorite sub place to good food and horrible service type of place that I am reluctant to go in to because of the rude staff. read more

I have been to this location now about 7-8 times. I will say that the first time I went there it was slow and a little unorganized, but the food was really good. So we decided to give it another shot and each time we have been there the service has improved and the quality of food is consistent and it is very good. I would say its a mix of Pot Belly's and Quizno's but better and it has a Coke Freestyle. I just wanted to write on here to say its not as bad as others are making it out to be. If you are in the Richfield area and looking for a good sub this place is worth a shot. read more

I go out and buy a sandwich a couple times a month, and thought I'd give this place a try. I ordered a turkey bacon ranch. The atmosphere felt a bit awkward, compared to a place like Jimmy Johns. I stood waiting for my sandwich, but I would have sat if I'd had known how long it would take. I understand that I ordered a hot sandwich, but I'm used to only waiting 1-3 minutes after ordering to get my food. I waited at least 15 minutes, maybe twenty. The staff wasn't unpleasant, just not friendly at all. Usually if I have to wait a significant time for food, it's communicated to me by them, but that didn't happen. For some reason, the person who ordered after me in line got his food earlier than I did, and we ordered the same thing(hot special sandwich). When I got my food, I was surprised that it wasn't hot, just a little warm and the paper it was wrapped in was soggy. It was a decent sandwich, not bad other than being a bit soggy. The bread was like subway, and it really just tasted and felt like subway without the whole thing being heated, just the meat. I won't be going back, but if you do go you might want to call your order ahead so you don't have to wait. I really wanted to like it but eh, the service wasn't good, the atmosphere felt a bit strange, I had to wait for quite some time and the food wasn't anything special. read more
