    Pepperoni Pizza Meatball Sub Medium

Service: great, friendly service Food: I don't have a frame of reference as I normally would not order a meatball sub. There was something appealing to the idea of a pepperoni pizza, meatball sub that I just had to give it a whirl! This sub did not disappoint! The quality of the beats were very good, and the flavors were all spot on. Value: Hmm... well, I did not find it to be a great value. However, I would get it again if I really had a craving for it.

Why has it taken me this long to try firehouse subs?!? The subs are BOMB! I ordered the Cajun chicken sandwich and my oh my it was so good. The perfect level of spice on a warm toasty sandwich..yum!! There are 3 sizes of subs. S, M and L. I went with M and it was way more than enough food for me. The food itself gets five starts but the service wasn't exceptional, which is why I lowered it to four stars. However, someone could have just been having a bad day. I will absolutely be back for more-the food was so good.

I Grubhub my order for the Club sandwich with chopped pickles, jalapeños and extra cheese. I wish or might ask to get the bread toasted next time, because the bread was a hot sandwich, and the bread was soggy some. But otherwise two oatmeal raisin cookies and a brownie. Plus chips too. I ordered a large sandwich and it was too and delicious. Total $15, with discounts & tip!

I love subs. I rank them next to pizza as great all-in-one meals for meats, veggies, and carbs. This particular location is found inside a plaza at 66th and Lyndale in Richfield. Lots of parking is available, and it even has a few dedicated spots for those who want to order out (15min max parking). The menu has a lot of sub options and there are pictures of each one to help you make your decision. They come in two size options, 8" and 12". I really like the 8" option. I usually go to subway and find 6" to be too little, and 12" to be too much. So 8" is just perfect. I went with the Italian sub with a chips and drink combo. They have one of those new soda dispensers where you select from a touch screen and they can make dozens of custom options by adding extra flavors like cherry or lime to your regular soda. The sub took a little longer to make than most places, which is why I took off a star. They really weren't even that busy. Oh and their prices are a bit higher than an average sub place. One highlight is that they offer a selection of hot sauces to spicy up your sandwich. The other reason I took off another star was because they tv's they had were place way high up near the ceilings and not that easy to look at. They also looked smaller since they were so high up. The bathroom was clean and is a private, one person use room.

Took the other yelpers advice and ordered 3 smokehouse beef and cheddar brisket subs. Ordered in médiums for 6.99 each. I had lunch earlier so was still Kinda stuffed so ate 1/2 of the sub. Very delicous and you even get à pickle spear. I might order next time and hold mayo. Supper tonight for husband and son. They said they can be microwaved but will probably put in the oven à short time. They also have the make your own coca cola soda your way for pop drinkers.

We had seen commercials in Rochester for Firehouse Subs, so we were eager to try them when we visited the cities! The food was OUTSTANDING!! Perfectly made, toasted and DELICIOUS!! Please please please come to Rochester!!!! We loved the mission of helping those who help us and look forward to visiting again!! Love!!!! P.S. We met the owners and they were so friendly and nice! The gentleman suggested a pepper sauce that was also outstanding !! Great lunch all around!!

The subs were OK, the Coke Freestyle machine was absolute garbage. My wife and I tried 4 different flavors of soda and they were all septic.

Thank goodness... we still have Cecil's in the Twin Cities!!!…read more The mood, the relaxed comfortable and kind staff who do not rush you to sit rush you to order. Instead EVERYONE is 100 % natural welcoming laid back and genuine in wanting to see you content and pleased. Nothing is ever pushed onto you. The quality of the pastrami, its seasoning, the textures and bright flavors of the breads and bagels the nova the chopped liver the extra creamy marinated Cole slaw and perfect half sour pickles ( wISH they had bialys!). All perfect. All old world. Our favorite very old deli in West Palm Beach was sold 1.5 years ago and gone gone gone are the DELIGHTFUL happy charming old staff and the perfect old world flavors, cooking. In Sarasota where we just lived the last 5 years, a new deli closed after just 2 years, and there is nothing left. We've been visiting family in Sarasota every year for 40 years. Gone too in the Twin Ciries is the ownership by brothers Scot and Stu of Hopkin's beloved Crossroads Deli just last year. The new owners, a corporation owning 6-8 other restaurants have CHANGED almost all the recipes for breads, cakes , wonderous cookies and 80 % of all pastries! No more butter, no more fine ingredients and no more of their once " Grossinger's taste/quality" STELLAR seeded rye bread! They even eliminated the lemon flavoring. In their incomparable lemon coconut cake! Their stuffed cabbage is one of their only true deli dishes left. Sandwiches are half their original size...... heart breaking after going there 3-4 times a week for 25 years........ Cecil's of course had to cut back on the $$ use of butter in their pastries. But they have WORKED VERY HARD to still retain their wonderous long long ago heart warming flavors. ALL their sandwiches are AUTHENTIC. Old world New York City flavors! Made with care and love. My husband loves their beautiful generous Nova salmon platte. Noshing away happily! I love their pastrami Rachel's with plentiful half sour pickles lots of Russian dressing and creamy Cole slaw. Mmmmmm. I hope and pray Cecil's owner refrains for a long long time from selling his rare business. We must support Cecil's too.... Or lose it with all the others, and lose part of our joy and heart. Thank you Cecil's .....

Packed the midweek afternoon we visited, and we did not wait for a table. Loved my bowl of Matzo Soup, superb broth and the Matzo was delicious. Enjoyed my BLT on whole wheat and the homemade potato salad was amazing! Had a cherry cobbler for dessert that was incredible. Restaurant has been open for over 70 years, and I met the owner/manager, Cecil, afterward, and he just oozes customer service being a priority. It's a must-visit place.

I was on the street in front of Clancy's when one of their customers was mis-identified as an officer of an organization that was terrorizing Minneapolis. It had nothing to do with Clancy's! As I tried to get to my car, people yelled the most obscene and disgusting epitaphs at the couple in front of me. I was just walking down Grand Avenue. They were even spitting at this innocent individual. As a liberal who marched for civil rights and against the war in Vietnam during the 1960s and 1970s, I was horrified. Blaming Clancy's is ignorant, and an integral part of how this country is dismantling. Clancy's Meats & Fish is important to our neighborhood, and represents the kindness and empathy that has been representative of Minnesota for decades. Give them your support.

On one side is a meat market with a variety of cuts of steaks, lamb, and other meats, which all looked fresh and quite nice. They also have a variety of items such as canned goods, pasta, eggs, etc. on the shelves opposite the meat counter. The entire place is quite sunny, pleasant, and cozy. On the other side is the eat-in, take-out deli sandwiches, that are made to order. The quality of the ingredients is excellent. The bread is freshly made (crispy baguette type) and you have a choice of Roast Beef, Roast Turkey, Tuna Salad, Smoked Ham, or Corned Beef. All sandwiches are $16.50 each (including tax) and come with a choice of mayonnaise, spicy stone ground mustard, red leaf lettuce, thin sliced red onion, salt, pepper, oil, vinegar, raw grated horseradish, pickled jalapeno, and roasted bell pepper. The default includes all toppings so if you don't want everything, be sure to specify what you do NOT want. Surprisingly, they do not carry any diet soda, nor do they stock any national brands (only local pop). There is a large menu on the wall, and you order at the counter and pick up the order (no table service). The food was attractively presented, and very, very good. My only gripe (besides the lack of diet pop) is that it's on the expensive side for lunch. Two sandwiches, a couple of bags of chips, and a couple of cans of pop will easily top $40, although I'd say the quality is top-notch.
