The sandwich was well-balanced and the meat had the right amount of spicy flavor, but I wish they had given me more meat! I was craving more after my last bite. The salad had the perfect balance of crunchy, raw vegetable appeal coupled with the creaminess of cubed cheese. I will probably not be back unless I'm on the go and need something fast. I ordered the italian sub combo with chips (and throw in a brownie, why not..) and went on my way. When I came home, I probably ate the sandwich is less than 3 minutes. It's almost not fair to other sandwich shops! I've tried three of their sub and so far the Hook & Ladder is my favorite but they've all been excellent! The service is almost annoying by how friendly the staff is, starting with an employee handing you a menu as you walk in the door. I would be embarrassed if I was them. My 77 year old dad had a birthday yesterday and he wanted his birthday freebie of a sandwich that their website promises. I showed them I had enrolled him in his rewards program, but they wouldn't honor it because there wasn't a code. Terrible service from the manager. I had a online order and was ignored while I stood patiently by the online order sign. After 15 mins the manager finally asks for the name. I tell him. And it turns out my order was done the whole time I was standing there. While grabbing my order another guy came in and went to the online area. And was immediately greeted. I asked the manager why he didn't greet me like that and had my food just sitting there so long. He must have got mad cause he started yelling at me.
