    Italian sub.
    Thomas W.

I ordered a Italian, it was great with plenty of cheese and meat, and lots of flavor, but why on earth does it take 30 minutes to make a single sandwich? The service here is extremely slow. It should not take half an hour to put together a sandwich and toast it. The restroom was not clean either. Most likely won't be returning to this location again.

Well, I tried 5 times to call, once we were hung up on. We were trying to call you to let you know that the milk you sent with our kids meals is over 2 weeks expired and you may want to check it in the cooler. We was just trying to give you a heads up. Thanks for not answering the phone and sending us to your full voicemail box. Didn't want to have to to notify this way. Oh, and the food was incredibly sloppy and the soup was upside down in the bag and leaked all over our kids sandwich's. Good thing there is another firehouse subs in the clock tower not far away and a jersey mikes around the corner. That was a waste of 85.00 with delivery fees. Also, after reading all the other negative comments about this place, i don't need fluff from the guest services doing nothing to fix the problem or offer a resolution. Not one person was offered anything, just bunch of fluff letting "management " know. Obviously they are part of the problem or they wouldn't continue to get shitty ratings. 2.5 stars? After reading these y'all should be shut down. I never yelp. Love firehouse subs and support their mission all day, but this location is awful.

Great sandwiches, glad to see they opened another one of these up nearby. The new store is clean and easy to get too and the staff was friendly.

Meat so thin cant even taste it.

We came here to try them out for breakfast, ordering: +the French Toast platter - came with a choice of meat, opting for bacon; the French Toast was good, totaling 2 slices of bread; bacon was cooked well; wished this came with a side of potatoes or something +a Steak & Cheese - with onions and mayo; this was filling, but the ingredients could have been properly cooked through, as the meat was still lukewarm, and the cheese was not melted properly; also, some of the meat had a subtle mildew-like odor/taste to it +and, a Bulgogi plate - just came with rice; wished they had some kimchi that came as a side; the bulgogi was more on the sweeter end, and it had both an abundance of mushrooms and onions; this also served more on the lukewarm end and could have been grilled or reheated properly; rice was cooked perfectly Staff were friendly, and there are a handful of seating inside. The place seems popular with the locals for a breakfast pickup and such. In part, that was us not quite able to figure out exactly where it was. Grant Street, it turns out, is disjointed. In other words, it's not like it's just a straight shot from one end to the other. We stopped in here on a Saturday around 4 p.m. The place closes at 6 p.m., and are closed on Sunday. At that time of day, they weren't at all busy. The young man at the counter took our orders, and someone working in the back made the sandwiches. We just ordered savory items, so we can't speak to how the sweet items are (although some of them sounded so good). I ordered the salmon sandwich, which consists of: "Choice of your chimney bread, spread with dill cream cheese, filled with smoked Atlantic salmon, spring mix, cucumber, and red onion." The bread choices are everything bagel, jalapeno, and cheesy. I chose the everything bagel and asked for no onion. I found this sandwich to be tasty, but I thought they could have gone lighter with the dill cream cheese. The bread had a nice crispness. My husband ordered the ham and Swiss sandwich, which consists of: "Choice of your chimney bread, spread with paprika mayo and filled with black forest ham, Swiss cheese, fresh romaine hearts, spring mix, sweet pepper, tomato, cucumber, and red onion". He wasn't happy with the paprika mayo, as he says mustard would have worked better. Nor did he care for the sweet peppers. Now he knows not to order the default setting for this sandwich but instead to customize the toppings. They work with DoorDash, which, when ordering online, gives the option to customize one's order. There are high tables, the type that are found in bars, for those who want to eat their sandwiches there. The place is kept very clean.

I put in a take out early, and by the time I got there, it was bagged and ready! It was a Sunday at 7:15 am, so it wasn't really too busy yet. There was also a running race going on and not much parking (pretty sure that's a one off though) so that could've contributed to the quiet morning as well. The bagels were delicious. I got a cinnamon raisin bagel with plain cream cheese. It was perfect. We also tried the mountain view (potato latke, egg, cheese, and avocado) sandwich and the bacon Sun city (bacon, egg, cheese, and hot honey) sandwich. Both were delicious. Bagel sandwiches are a little messy to eat and they don't skimp on any ingredients either the avocado was great. My husband really enjoyed his everything bagel with plain cream cheese. Honestly though, the stars are their Strawberry B&W Oreo cookie and chocolate babka muffin. I wanted to try the cinnamon raisin babka muffin but it wasn't avaliable at the time. The strawberry oreo cookie is the perfect amount of sweetness with the strawberry icing and then the darker chocolate side. Their strawberry icing is absolutely perfect. I don't think I've had a better strawberry glaze. It's sweet, good amount of strawberry flavor and the perfect balance of artificial strawberry flavor where you can't tell and it's just naturally strawberry enough. I wish they made a cookie where it's fully strawberry glazed. The chocolate babka muffin (I got warmed) is the perfect size. So much chocolate. And a dark chocolate so it's not in your face sweet. I loved them both so much, I made my husband get two of each the next weekend. Come for the bagels, but stay for the baked goods.

Would definitely order it again as it was airy and not too heavy. Lastly, the inside of the store is brightly decorated with ample seatings available. The service was prompt and parking easily found across the entrance.

But apparently the lunch combo is just cheese pizza despite the ad not specifying that. Felt pretty lied to and disappointed. My wife and I had been seeing the lunch deal advertised here for a while. We ended just getting 2 slices of flavors we actually wanted to try. We also ordered buffalo wings and garlic knots. The pizza was comparable to that of the pizza you'd get from Costco. It was very cheese forward and didn't have any sauce taste. Not that that's bad, but it's not enough to make me come back consistently. The wings were good and the spicy buffalo had a good kick to it. The garlic knots were average to me. Nothing to write home about.
