The subs are OK. Subway is better actually. There's hardly any flavor, and they need more options for bread, cheeses, and toppings.

I love going to Firehouse Subs, their subs a good and have plenty of meat on them. They are right across the street from where I work so it's easy to get there if I happen to forget to bring my lunch to work. They are always friendly and have fast service, I have never had to wait for than about 3 min for my food. read more

I was kind of disappointed. I heard a lot of great things. I came in. The whole staff greeted me with some stupid canned phrase. I think it was "welcome to firehouse subs." So lame! It's not sincere. I have always taught my employees to greet someone as soon as they walk in. I am annoyed by this fake crap. It's awkward for employees and customers. Anyway, I went to the counter to order. Usually I get an Italian on the first trip to a sub place/deli. This is the quintessential sandwich. If they do it justice, I will try the rest. So I unwrap my Italian. It wasn't great. It had all the trimming. Genoa salami, pepperoni, Virginia honey ham, melted provolone, Italian dressing, seasonings, mayo, deli mustard, lettuce, tomato, onion, and a kosher dill pickle on the side. No capicola. Pepperoni? Really? This was not an authentic Italian in my view. It was bland. The bread was uninspired. They failed the Italian test. I don't know if I'll be coming back. The one thing I liked was the huge selection of hot sauce. I love hot sauce. Kind of out of place at a deli. Cool none the less. read more

I love this place. My favorite sub is the steak and cheese, but my wife prefers the turkey bacon ranch. Either way delicious subs. The only downside is the price. Otherwise I would eat here more often. read more

This is probably one of the best sub places around. The food is really good and the service is amazing. It does take a couple of minutes for them to make the sandwiches, but it is nice to know that they are working on your order and building them the right way. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone who has never tried it before. read more

Boy, don't bother coming in around 20 minutes before they close. Usually like firehouse, but between the staff attitude, dirty looks and slopped together sandwich, I will rethink my choice next time. I get it, I worked a min wage service job when I was a teenager. We hated when people would come in before closing, but we had enough respect to treat every customer good. read more

This place is complete with plenty of indoor seating, as well as a patio. The staff greets you as soon as you walk in. You have a variance on different selections to choose from whether its plain turkey or they have some non traditional options as well. I tried the engineer, which has sautee'd mushroom, turkey, provalone cheese and dijon mustard. The bread was perfect, a little toasty but not too crunchy to where it scrapes your mouth up, no, just warm, lightly toasted goodness. The meat to bread ratio was pretty amazing too, not like some of the others out there that have a huge bread to meat ratio. The meat was piled high, the veggies were piled high, and they have about 50 hot sauces to choose from. I added the house brand, but it was a little sweet to go with my swandwich, although it went perfect with the boyfriend's sandwich, which had pastrami, corn beef brisket and veggies, delicious. I'd say this place beats out a lot of the other sandwich places out there, by far. Also had a chocolate chip cookie which was fresh, moist and flavorful and packed with chips, I had chocolate with every bite. They also had a few flavors and a brownie. Service is quick, the staff is helpful and plentiful and for a saturday afternoon lunch time crowd, they kept up pretty well. We will definately be back, hopefully they expand locations, this is a little out of the way for me, but I still wouldn't mind. read more

Just spent an hour standing in an over-crowded hot room waiting for a sandwich. The second time in the two times that I have ever been to Firehouse Subs, canceling out both of my lunch breaks where I now can eat my cold, soggy,"hot"-sub for dinner. Arriving at 11:45 am I assumed I would miss the rush hour traffic, which I did, but didn't stop them from taking the most time I have ever had to wait on a sandwich in my life. You know you are terrible at making subs when you have to apologize to every customer that comes through about the wait; all the customers around me were murmuring about how bad it was. The store employee offered a free sub card to me, which is as good as toilet paper as I will never waist another lunch break standing and waiting for a sandwich that I get to stare at, at my desk. Also I work for one of the largest corporations in the tech center and I plan on making all 1500 corporate employees here aware of the inability to build a sandwich in under an hour. read more
