I am very impressed a bad situation was turned great with wonderful customer service. Another lady with the same name as mine took my sandwich because she was into much of a hurry when I told the staff with what she had done they not only made my sandwich right away but gave me a gift certificate for next time and free chips. The service was great!! I haven't been to a Firehouse Subs in awhile and was extremely impressed with this location. The owner Brandon was nice and genuine. He made a funny comment on my wallet, breaking the ice of awkward small talk. The Turkey Bacon Ranch was a great sandwich. The amount of vegetable to meat to sauce ratio was on point. I later when on to get some dessert. I could not help to notice the cookies and brownies so I asked Alissia which I should get. She made note of that the brownie was really good and also the cookies. The sub sandwiches here at Firehouse are great. They set themselves apart from all the other sub shops with their unique flavors. My favorite sub is the Turkey Bacon Ranch. I got my dinner about and 45 min ago and it was by far the worst thing ever. The chicken and dumplings soup I got was all broth and the sub I got was dry had no sauce or cheese and very little meat not the way I ordered it. This was my favorite sub place to eat. read more

I don't normally write reviews but the service at the Nyberg Firehouse subs is terrible. The staff is nice and say hi but once you give them your order watch out. They get our order wrong everytime now... Tonight was the last straw though. We did our order online and when my mother in law picked it up and brought it home every sandwich was wrong. They put the tomato from my sisters club on my Philly cheese steak...her Bacon too! My mother in law took all the sandwiches back and they screwed my wifes salad up again! They should have given her the meals for free for the inconvenience but instead told her she could have a free desert?? Wow.... I called to complain and the Manager told me to get a refund I would have to drive back for a third time because he doesn't know how to refund food for online orders......we just chucked it all in the trash and went to Chipotle. Apparently these kids need to read the receipts better because its very annoying. We use to eat here a lot but the service has gone downhill.....tonight was the last time we will ever eat there again. read more

I called to place an order so I could pick it up at 4pm on my way home. I had another stop to make. I walked in at 3:57 to pick up my order and they hadn't started it yet. I was the only customer at the time. I was surprised and not too happy. A man says to me " we can have it ready in about 4 minutes". Why does he think I called ahead? My not too happy self told him never mind, I will go somewhere else. I didn't want any one fouling my food since I complained. SCARY! Not going back there any time soon. I gave a 5 to Firehouse subs simply because they are amazing. I'm a regular there, as I walk in I get greeted with a smile and a " welcome to fire house". Kyle is goes above and beyond with his customer service. He remembers me and makes me feel cared about. He remembers my name, what I get and remembers stuff about my life. The rest of the employees are great too! Such as victor! Victor is also so kind and caring. Funny too! So my boyfriend and I went to firehouse sub one night signs on doors open we went in. An employee greeted us then proceeded to ask if she could help us, to which we responded by ordering. After we had ordered she told us 'I'm sorry but we just closed' I got upset at the fact that the doors where unlocked for customers to go in with the open sign on and a customer ahead of us not to mention her asking us if we needed help when she knew they where closed, she could have started with. The food is good when you able to get the service from staff to prepare it, unfortunately the service or lack of has prevented me from eating here my last two visits. One time they closed early and offered no explanation. This last time there were 3 staff standing around when I entered they finished helping a party then proceeded to help other customers behind me when I asked when I could order the staff indicated after the large party that was behind me. This establishment is a huge disappointment I would recommend going elsewhere. read more

Fantastic. We have been 4 or 5 times and are always blown away by how good this place is. Staff are friendly and food is great.

I came in not sure what to expect. The building is extremely smoky, which I suppose adds to the atmosphere of it being a firehouse, but if nothing else just annoyed me. What was even more annoying was the "welcome to firehouse" that the employees would shout out when anybody enter the room. I don't know if it annoyed me, or them more as it was very lackluster. While I felt the food was very overpriced at $10 for a combo, it was very good. The Italian was good and seems to be packed full of meat. I like the hot sauce counter and their proprietary sauce is very good as well. I could see myself coming back for to-go food, but I don't think I'll dine-in again. read more

I loved this place so much. I recently went back and was very disappointed. I ordered the same sub I always have and it tasted nothing like it had the other times I went there. There was a guy that worked there that had made my sandwich each time I had went and he was really friendly and made the best sub and made sure to ask us about our day. This time he was not there, no one was really friendly, didn't say goodbye anything. I asked when he would work next and the guy said he had no idea who I was talking about and there was probably a staff change. The employee did not apologize for a disappointing experience/food. I remember noticing when this place first opened i figured it was good because of all the service it had, my assumption was not working. I love this place and the food everything about it i order a turkey sub and had it on toasted bread they added pesto sauce which was delicious, the meat tasted so juicy and good, all the topping options were fresh and tasted amazing i really like the type of bread they use it has a nice taste to it. The food is really great and honestly way better than any other sub place in the area, uncomparable actually. Even their cold cuts will warm you because of all the flavors. The service is also impeccable, really nice people always smiling and most importantly preparing these delicious subs are the employees. Tried this spot for the first time. Seems like repackaged Quiznos. The sub I had was a "medium" which is the standard price on the menu. It ended up being a 7 inch sub cut in half with an airbag of Cheetos and a soft drink for 10 bucks. The value just isn't there to justify returning. The portion size is too small for the price. I did like the option to donate to the Fire Fighters. The flavor of the sandwich was not impressive. Otherwise it felt like the employees were on eggshells trying to take my basket before I had even finished. You could tell they were stressed. Great place for a sub sandwich. I had the New Yorker Steamer and it was perfect. The steamed meat brings out some great tastes.

Quality sub, a higher price point than Subway, but much better quality. Meats are all warmed individually. Fire hats for all the kids. This review is not as much about the food it's about the great above and beyond service. I live in southern California and I wanted to say thank you to the staff at a skilled nursing facility by buying the nurse's lunch for taking such great care of my mom. I got on the internet and found Firehouse Subs. Called and talked to a very polite guy named Brandon. He made feeding 20 nurse's as easy and cost effective as could be. Used my free sub reward...they were not crowded, yet my order was a mess...ordered turkey sub with everything + banana peppers. So let me start but saying the sandwiches were good, as was the chili. My problem lies solely with the staff interactions. Dude ringing us up kept mumbling & I couldn't understand him. Shortly after eating he came by to see how we were doing and of we'd need boxes, which was a nice gesture but being that we just began eating I really had no idea if I'd need one. After a while we decided we'd take home leftovers. So I stood by the counter looking at staff while all the girls working just kept on doing what they were doing ignoring me (I was at the side counter, not the ordering side so it was evident I wasn't in line to order). Finally I asked for a to-go box only to be given an empty stare, she then turned to get some sandwich wrapping. As my husband came back from refilling his drink he asked the guy at the other end for a box who came and grabbed a couple up for us, the chick was still messing with sandwich wrapping. We boxed up our food & I headed to top off my tea & use the restroom. The tea tanks were nearly empty, but was just enough to top off my drink. I set the drink on the counter, because who takes their drink to the loo? No less than a minute or two I came back out to find my tea gone! I asked if they tossed my drink and they all gave a blank stare while one responded "no". He offered me a new cup, but that was pointless being there was no more freaking tea left! Terrible, terrible experience... and that alone is enough to keep me from a place with good food. read more
