Jerry arrived during our pre-planned appointment window. He wore a mask, gloves and removed shoes on our carpet areas. He cleaned up our fireplace fantastically taking the glass apart and getting the area in and around the pilot light (which wasn't lighting up). Jerry did an excellent job and also switched out the on/off switch for a new one and that works great now. I'm totally pleased and confident that Jerry knew exactly what he was doing, even testing the wiring with sensors and such to make sure there weren't any shorts. The cost was very reasonable and I definitely recommend contacting Fireplace Fix for your next fireplace repair. They advised me they also do HVAC repairs and install as well, so I'll call them up if I have an issue in that area as well. Setting up the appointment was a pleasure as well. Highly recommend this company! We moved into our new rental house a month ago and the gas company couldn't light the pilot for our gas fireplace. The tech said we needed a new part. Called them to get my pilot light on my gas fireplace lit. They came out and got it lit. Then they did a full service checking everything and then cleaned the fireplace inside and out. No up selling. Showed us where a component is starting to degrade, but it didn't need to be replaced yet. I respect that honesty. Our fireplace looked and operated like it was brand new when the technician left.
