Right off the bat, I really appreciated how accommodating and helpful the staff was. Because we had a dog, we initially opted to sit outside, and their employee was extremely kind in trying to set up multiple outdoor heaters for us. When that proved difficult, they were very generous in welcoming our dog indoors. Food-wise, we went with the Il Nostro Pane Fresco Fatto in Casa (bread basket), Olive Marinate, Fritto Misto, Pappardelle sun Cinghiale, Agnello Scottadito (lamb), and Diavola Pizza. I generally enjoyed everything we ordered. Their homemade bread was really tasty and had a great pillowy softness. I really liked the al dente texture of the pappardelle; the wild boar ragu was slightly lacking in flavor, but the overall dish still felt well balanced. The calamari was standard but good. The pizza crust was ideal in its chewiness, and I appreciated the ratio of sauce to cheese to sausage. I also surprisingly enjoyed the lamb a lot; I rarely reach for lamb, but theirs had a great flavor and was cooked well, and the potatoes that came with it were super yummy. Aside from the food, another highlight was the ambiance. I loved that the environment was intimate and warm with a smaller space and dim lighting. My only qualm was that the service was on the slower side--it took several attempts each time to try to flag down our server. However, I completely understand that they were busy and only had 1 main server, and I appreciate their overall hospitality. In general, Pazzia definitely has me wanting to eat Italian food more frequently, and I hope to come back again in the future!

However, we placed the order in person, and I received my dinner in less than 10 minutes. I was impressed by how quickly the pizza was prepared, given it was a deep-dish pizza. I'm not sure if they have resolved the issues with their website, but the pizza was good enough that I would definitely order it again.

And the crust could have had a bit more flavor. I wish they did slices of some of their other pizzas (they only do for 3 of the pies), even if that is done in a rotating menu each day or week.
