The pasta was delicious and very filling I wasn't expecting that it would be so delicious!!!! I'm glad we were able to enjoy the experience and the dessert was very delicious and creamy texture. Best tiramisu I've ever had and it really lives up to the restaurant name I would say!!! The ambiance of the restaurant was amazing very clean and classy for the most part. I experienced great service for the most part and would definitely go again!!!

Great spot for a work team dinner! We had a group of 10 and Cafe Tiramisu handled us with ease. The service was super nice and very efficient. Standout dishes: * Crab Escargot, Tuna Tartare, & Carpaccio: All excellent starters. * Branzino: Fresh and expertly cleaned tableside. * Tiramisu: A must-order! The vibe is great and the restaurant is spacious. We had a wonderful time!

Came here with friends because we were in the area and wanted to try a new dinner place! The food was very tasty - we got various kinds of pasta, and I tried a bit of each of my friends'. Each pasta was very unique in flavor but very delicious nonetheless! We also shared the berry crème brûlée, and it was wonderful - not too sweet with delectable berry flavor! The service was also phenomenal, as the waitstaff checked up on us periodically. The seating area is a bit small, but the ambiance is great still! I like the rustic quality of the interior as well as the general vibe :) Overall would definitely come back to try new dishes !

Restaurant week! I visited with 2 colleagues for a business lunch & were happy that we were able to fit in a restaurant that was participated in Restaurant Week. I made reservations online which required a credit card (for no-shows). For $35, you can choose an appetizer & entree & everyone gets a slice of tiramisu cake for dessert. I'm writing this review 6 hours after I ate lunch & will probably skip dinner because I'm still full. The restaurant was pretty busy, but servicr was very good. I had the burrata which was delicious & had a bite of the beef carpaccio, which was very good. The pappadalle was so good that i devoured every bite. The tiramisu cake was light & fluffy, so we were able to finish our dessert although we were pretty full from our entrees. Service is very efficient & friendly as they are accustomed to the lunchtime crowd in the financial district.

Cafe Tiramisu is a charming Italian place serving up special dishes in the heart of financial district. There is an old world charm to the interior and it was packed on that Thursday lunch hour we went. With a reservation, our party of 5 was quickly seated and we ordered mostly pastas. Bread is $7 but worth it. It's a cheesy focaccia that can be shared. All their pasta is homemade and the sauce that accompanied it was very flavorful, even if it took about 25 minutes for it to come out. Linguini vongole was filled with plenty of clams and garlic butter. Our only thing would be that the "crispy chicken" entree on the menu wasn't very crispy (more like roasted). Otherwise, great place for a holiday lunch or work gathering.

We came as a walk in on a Saturday and we luckily were able to get sat.. I would recommend making a reservation since it's a small place and gets busy fast! The customer service was great and the food was even better! Will definitely be back because of these two reasons.

I'm glad I gave Cafe Tiramisu a try. It's a cute little Italian spot with solid pizza, nice atmosphere, and staff that is both welcoming and slightly abrasive at the same time. It's a bit tricky to find, because it's in an alley off one of the main streets, but that does kind of add to the charm. Be sure to save space for the cheesecake. It's amazing.

Dinner last night with a party of 12 was a blast. Be sure to make a reservation if you have a larger party. The food was great. I had the spicy angel hair lobster which was fantastic and a pretty big portion. Also make sure to try the octopus! Service was great and we always had a heavy pour on the drinks. The cafe is super tucked back and had a great vibe

Good American Italian food but just nothing out of the ordinary. I've eaten there twice since my in-laws love the place. First meal was a branzino fillet which was good but not worth the price. Second time was a good Bolognese pappardelle pasta.

We stopped here after spending the day in Napa and weren't disappointed at all - the food was fresh, made to order and the service was excellent, very attentive and ensured we enjoyed each course. Everything we ordered was delicious down to the desserts which were absolutely decadent. The atmosphere was that of a small cafe in Italy with both indoor and outdoor seating. Highly suggest checking it out

I had steamed mussels with fries. There were not enough mussels because they were huge and the sauce was more a broth and not at all flavorful enough. I usually love sopping up every last drop of the juice. But the really disappointing aspect of our dinner was the service. There were 3 people behind the service station. All of them need a training course on how to pay attention to paying customers. Instead they were all engrossed in private conversation with each other or with one particular customer. And one of the staff was simply intimidating, and very very loud. I suspected his behavior may have been chemically induced. Our waitress was very sweet, cheerful and helpful when we could catch her attention. But as I said a 15 minute training exercise each evening before starting work would work wonders. Like look around each customer every time you are not doing anything. And the more senior staff member was just uninterested and perhaps a little grumpy. So the food was blah, more flavor in the broth would help, and ok but at today's prices a "dinner out" has to be about more than just the food.

This restaurant receives many five-star reviews and has even earned Michelin recognition in the past. Given its reputation, it is difficult to write anything that goes against the prevailing public sentiment. First, the restaurant has an unusual opening time of 2:00 p.m. If you arrive at opening, there is already a line ahead of you. Including the bar, the restaurant has only 21 indoor seats. There are also three outdoor booths that can accommodate up to six people each. They offer takeout as well. Their procedure requires customers to arrive before opening and put their names on a whiteboard. Guests are then seated in the order of arrival once the restaurant opens. We followed this process and were among the first group of customers seated. One of us ordered the clam chowder. Unfortunately, it was not particularly impressive and can be skipped without missing much. We also ordered oysters. They west coast oysters are small and lack the briny flavor that many Gulf Coast oyster lovers expect. Those accustomed to Gulf Coast oysters may find them disappointing. The main reason for our visit was to try the restaurant's famous cioppino. Unfortunately, it never arrived. After waiting for more than one hour, we finally decided to get up and leave. As we were paying for the oysters and clam chowder, the cioppino suddenly appeared. By that point, however, we had lost our appetite and no longer wished to stay. To the restaurant's credit, they did not charge us for the cioppino. My impression is that our waiter either made an error when placing the order or that another customer who arrived after us was mistakenly served ahead of us. After reading other reviews, I noticed that many of the one-star reviews describe similar experiences.  Overall, Anchor Oyster Bar is may be worth trying if you are curious about this San Francisco institution. However, despite its excellent reputation, be prepared for the possibility of disappointment, particularly when it comes to service and wait times. Fortunately, there are a lot of alternatives to the "famous" places, where food and the customer service is better.

From the moment we walked through the door, we knew we were in for something incredible. The atmosphere feels classic, welcoming, and full of history, while still delivering the kind of quality that keeps people coming back decade after decade. Sitting right on Fisherman's Wharf, you truly feel connected to the waterfront and the fishing heritage that makes this city so special. We started with the house bread (which disappeared far too quickly to make it into the photos ) and an absolutely fantastic calamari appetizer. Light, crispy, fresh, and perfectly paired with the dipping sauces. To sip, we enjoyed a refreshing mocktail while my man kept it classic with a vodka soda. The star of the meal was the Mixed Seafood Grill featuring salmon, halibut, and cod. Every bite tasted unbelievably fresh--like it had gone straight from the boats at the pier to our table. The fish was perfectly cooked, tender, flaky, and allowed to shine on its own without being overcomplicated. It's the kind of seafood that reminds you why San Francisco is one of the best food cities in the country. And because no great meal is complete without dessert, we finished with the cannoli. Crispy shells, creamy filling, pistachios, and just the right touch of sweetness to end an already amazing experience. What truly elevated the entire meal, though, was the service. Every member of the staff was attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about the restaurant and its food. It's rare to find a place where the food, location, atmosphere, and service all hit a home run, but Scoma's absolutely delivered. If you're visiting San Francisco and looking for an authentic waterfront dining experience, this is a must. Fresh seafood, beautiful views, incredible hospitality, and a legacy that's been thriving since 1965--Scoma's was easily one of the highlights of our trip.

It's incredibly hearty, packed with a generous helping of slaw, beans, and rice. While it has plenty of flavor on its own, it pairs beautifully with their house habanero carrot hot sauce! My only gripe is that the rockfish plays more of a supporting role rather than being the main star of the burrito show.
